Lost all bookmarks and backup bookmarks all of the sudden

As of now, I only have bookmarks as of 8-17-2012 and all othher bookmarks are gone. I restored bookmarks I had backed up in a HTML file from 6-15-2012. I have lost 2 month's worth of bookmarks and I don't know what they are. How do I get the bookmarks that I made between 6-15-2012 and 8-17-2012?

First, let's make a safe backup copy of any remaining bookmark backups.
Open Help > Troubleshooting Information and click the Show Folder button.
Do you see a folder named bookmarkbackups? Make a copy of that folder somewhere safe (e.g., the desktop). If you look inside the folder, are there some that appear larger than the most recent ones? If so try to restore the larger one using the procedure described in this article: [[Back up your bookmarks or move them to another computer]] (see the Restoring from Backups section).
If none of the backups look promising at all, is it possible that you created a new settings (AKA Firefox profile folder)? In the Windows Explorer window, navigate up a level and see whether you have any other profile folders. If so, investigate whether any of them might have recent bookmark backups.

Preferences lost all of the sudden.

Today when i started LR it acted like it was the first time again. it asked me for my country, serial number and registration info again. Once it started I found that all of my preferences, identity plate settings and things like that are gone. All of my photos are still there but something changed. Any ideas of what happened or how it can be fixed?

There are some fixes in the FAQ - http://forums.adobe.com/thread/358043 - but they don't work for me, and I've been having this fricking problem for ages. I've resigned myself to having to repeatedly reinput the serial details, and after the most recent instance I've saved a copy of my prefs file/folder out of harm's way so that once I've reinput the serial number I can at least copy the prefs back into their proper place and so avoid having to "rebuild" my prefs from scratch.
But I'm getting very sick of all this.

I would try calling the support line and pleading your case, as your movies have gone the same place everything else on your computer did when it 'crashed' - the bit bucket. That's why iTunes has repeated warnings and reminders about backing up your purchases, it's why there is backup software built in to MacOS, and it's why everyone says to back up your computer. The stuff on there is both valuable and fragile, and it only takes a $70 external drive and a few minutes every once in a while to make sure it's all safe.
For the record, it's not "because of Apple" that you can't re-download your movies, it's the studios and their contracts that prevent that.

All of your music should be in itunes on your computer.
Select it to sync and sync.

I'm sorry, but your sister, unless she had already turned on the "Find my iPhone" feature and the person who took the phone has not disabled it, is out of luck. She should report the theft to local police authorities, including the serial number of her iPhone. While her experience is unfortunate, there are good reasons why Apple cannot do anything else about it.
I hope she gets her phone back.

My Ipod Touch 5 got a long red line all of the sudden on the screen and i do not know why

So i have purchased my Ipod Touch 5 through apple. The thing is, i do not know why a red long line appeared on my screen all of the sudden. It has not fallen at all so i was just wondering if there is the possibility of sending my ipod into apple and getting another one since i have warranty.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

Even if it is a hardware problem they should fix it regardless of warranty. If you buy a car and after 1.5 years the doors fall off due to a failure in their design and construction, do you think the car manufacturer could pull off what Apple is trying to do? Yes the car still delivers its primary objective of driving from A to B, but significant functionality has been lost due to their fault.
It is the same with this iPhone wifi problem. Apple are a disgrace, I have had significant Apple Hardware failures with my MacBook Pro and iPhone within 2 years of purchase. Pathetic quality.

Ugraded to 4.0-lost all of the music I've purchased

Last night I just upgraded my ipod touch 3rd gen to 4.0. now I have lost all of the music that I have ever purchased. when I reach the itunes store through my ipod, it shows that I have once purchased these songs, but only asks if I want to purchase them again. how do I get back this music?

okay, well some how none of the music i have purchased is in my library or ipod, but it is showing that i have previously bought it. is there anyway to re download this music since I have previously paid for it under the same account? and also it is giving me an error report saying that it cannot restore my ipod

Apps open and close all of the sudden

Ok, my iphone was working fine until 10 minutes ago. I had no issues with it and all of the sudden, I tried opening up an app and all it will do is just open and close all of the sudden. And it's with ALL apps! I tried doing everything there is to do to solve the issue and nothing. I even followed someone's post about downloading a free app and nothing. I have tried restoring it, doing the sleep/wake and home button till apple logo comes up, and turning it off normally, and even re-syncing to computer and NOTHING! What should I do?

Download another free App - doesn't matter which one.
Sync and then hold down the Home and top button until the phone switches of completely.
Restart the phone and you should be fine - you did nothing wrong but its a sign of a bad sync.

My iWork (pages and keynote) are not communicating with the iCloud. I haven't changed anything and all of the sudden there is no sync happening. My iCloud account is fine as i can create documents on my iPad and they appear on iCloud.

However, when i change documents on my mac (documents that are supposed to be in the iCloud), the changes do not sync with my other devices nor with iCloud. Even when i create new documents on my mac and save them to iCloud, all seems okay and i can access them from my mac, however they do not show up in the iCloud and i can't access them with my other devices.
Most recent version of mountain lion updated over a month ago. New iPad in use for over a month.

I did it. By relocated all the songs. Then did my usual sync. Now , all the songs were synced to my Iphone now.:)

You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
