Lost all datatypes to "unknown"
Hi,
i am working within a Relational Model. ~30 tables and a Physical Model. After several changes all datatypes are gone now. Every Attribute has Datatype UNKNOWN.
I going to reverse engineer the whole stuff from the database now. But i think this is not expected behavior.
Another thing is, while reengineering some objects from a different schema into my modell, the IDE freezed and didnt come back. Had to kill it by Taskmanager. Result was, some Sequences in the Physical Model were deleted from the model. The files are in the model structure on disk, but Datamodeler does not recognize them anymore.
Working on Windows 7 64bit.

Hi
if you see them in directory structure then find file Objects.local related to your physical model and rename it. Start data Modeler and it'll recover it - your sequences will appear.
After several changes all datatypes are gone now. Every Attribute has Datatype UNKNOWNHow they were defined - using domains or just logical types. Do you see these domains / logical types in your design?

When I updated itunes I lost all of my music, I was able to retrieve it from a previous itunes library, but now some artists have all of their songs listed under one "unknown album." Is there a way to separate these songs back into the correct albums? Also, is there a way to make songs that have a featured guest just show up with the rest of the album instead of making a whole new spot for it? Thanks!
" When I did this, my library showed all the music I have "purchased" from itunes but did not have the music that I downloaded a long time ago through itunes from my old CDs."
Correct.
" How can I get that music to show up in my library now on my new computer? "
Copy it from your old computer or your backup copy of your old computer.
The sync is one way - computer to ipod. -
I purchased some films on my ipad and since syncing with my itunes, I have lost all my films, can anyone help?
There is some troubleshooting for 0xE8 error codes on this page : iOS: Unknown error containing '0xE' when connecting to a Windows PC
For the charging via USB, a lot of computers don't provide enough power to their USB ports to charge an iPad at a sufficient rate (it may still be charging, especially if the iPad's is locked and the screen is off), the iPad's own wall charger is generally the best way to charge it. -

Lost all my HDD space after cancelling partition!
Short Story...Ive lost all my HDD space after cancelling partition, i had 1TB now i only have 13gb
Long story...I installed parraeles desktop 8, went to install windows 7, it said i only had 60gb free, went to disk utility to try and partition to 150gb but only allowed me to partition 50:50 for unknown reason, i began the partition and then cancelled it as i wanted to try and only allow 150gb for windows 7, now it does not show partition at all, and says i only have 13gb free!!!
PLEASE HELP ASAP!!!!!!
Running OXs 10.8.2Do you have a Time Machine backup of your system, if not make one. Then go back into disk utility and delete the partition you just made. To install Windows 7 via Parallels Desktop 8 you don't need to partition your hard drive the program takes care of the entire install.

Lost all application!!
Hi, I just update/download android 2.3.3. I took back up regularly but I lost all applications which I installed before.
I forget most of application's name although I know very few of them so I tried to re install those applications by computer but message shows it is already INSTALLED, so I cant install it. If I tried to re install by my phone, even it cant search those application in search list!!!
on computer, android website shows installed but my ph cant show!
Please send me a very simple steps for restore/reinstall thease all application. Thanx. In Android 2.3, the Backup and Restore App is not available by default.
It is also not available to be downloaded from the Android Market.
In order to get it, you need to download the Backup and Restore app apk file from http://www.elita-clan.com/downloads/backup_and_restore_v010935.apk
This apk file should be placed in the phone's SD card.
You can first download the B&R apk file to your PC and then transfer it to your phone's SD card via the USB cable
Now go to your phones's Settings menu ----> Applications ---> Unknown sources( Select/Tick the box)
Next you will need a file manager to install it.
You can use Astro File Manager
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.metago.astro&feature=search_result
Once you have installed Astro, Launch it
Navigate to the B&R apk file that is on the SD card.
Tap on it once and a pop up menu will appear.
Select Open App Manager ----> Select Install -
Weak signal / Lost Cancel Divert and Unknown Caller
Phone : Nokia C3-01 I have been on Orange for many years and on Thursday night started losing signal. After process of elimantion narrowed it down to the sim.and next day went to EE shop and changed the sim to a new one. All was working fine however when somebody called me it would come up as Unknown Call. I also lost the option of Diverting my number from the menu (Settings --> Call --> Divert Calls) Anyway after many times calling the helpline we noticed that if I put that sim in a samrtphone (iphone 6) everything works fine however if I put it back into a non-smartphone once again receive Unknown Call and divert option is missing. Tried this on my Nokia 8800 Arte which is a non-smartphone and still same. This morning put my old sim back (which is dead) and the Cancel Divert option appears. So rang helpline to get my old sim activated and once it was activated all options there but once again weak signal. Anyway after an hour I recevied a text message saying my settings have been updated I need to reboot phone. I rebooted phone and guess what...full signal but just as the new sim lost Divert option and Unknown Caller comes up. So Orange/EE please can you help as it appears the settings you are sending is affecting NON-SMARTPHONES. How long can we put up without caller id???
Hi
Some users on Orange are experiencing issues with Caller Line ID.
Whenever someone calls it just shows as Unknown.
The issue is currently under investigation and they are working on a fix.
It sounds like the SIM swap may have triggered the issue.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
Thanks. -
ok so we bought an ipod touch for my daughter and when she connected it to the computer after she downloaded itunes, she was asked if it was her ipod or a new one, so she clicked on her ipod and lost all her recent pics plus is unable to locate the app store on her safari on her ipod touch. any suggestions as to what went wrong or what should be done ? should we restore or what?
much appreciated if there is anyone else who had this happen to them.- The iPod got erased since it sounds iTunes identified that the iPod has been synced with another computer and she said yes to making this computer her syncing computer. It could also she restored the iPod from the backup of another iPod, iPhone or iPad that was in iTunes. If in iTunes you go to Preferences>Devices is there a backup listed for her iPod with a date/time when she first connected the iPod to the computer. If so then restore the iPod from that backup.
iOS: How to back up
Note synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup,
You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Regarding the App store. The App store is not in Safari. It is a separate app. Also, could the Apple store be hidden by Restrictions? Settings>General>Restrictions. Further, can you find the App store via the Spotlight search on the iPod? -
can anyone help with retrieving My Library in Itunes and Itunes store - having updated Itunes and Icloud on 24 September 13, my computer failed and I lost all my files which were eventually backed up to an Emergency Backup. my computer is now working again and I have down loaded Itunes and transferred all the files from my Emergency Backup. Non of the music went back into Itunes, so I had to find these files and manually moved them to Itunes. The music is now in Itunes, but I no longer have the folder named My Library, which I think is the reason my Ipad, ipod no longer sync any additional music I have added to Itunes. Does anyone know how to rectify this please.
Many thanks. CruseyiTunes expects files and folders to be in very specific locations. When you start iTunes it looks for a file called library.itl which is in the iTunes folder. It then uses all the references in that file which tell it where all your media files are located to build up the view you normally see. Probably you moved the library file so iTunes cannot find it and it will make a default one which is empty. When you plug in your iPod it isn't recognizing the library since it is not the same one to which you synced last.
Simply put, you need to undo all your file moves. Not as eaily done as stated but since I cannot quite see from here exactly what you spent an hour doing last night it will be up to you. Did you make a backup before doing all this?

The hard disc of my laptop has crashed and i lost all the data. Now I want to take back up of my I phone and transfer contacts , messages and music etc back into my laptop , how can I do that. Also let me know how I can transfer the contacts into Windows contacts from I phone. Pl help
Your content will only be where you put it. It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
You can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone: File>Device>Transfer purchases.
You can import your pics taken with the iphone as you would with any digital camera.
You can e-mail the other pics to yourself, they will never be of the original quality.
You can out a unique contact and calendar entry on the computer. You should get the option to merge the data when you sync. -

I moved LR5 catalog (Irdata & Ircat) to a new hard drive and photos. Lost all meta data - How do I move meta data along with catalog?
The meta data for each image is missing.
I have over 2,000 images. I don't want to go back through each image and add meta data.
Is there some way to move everything? No, do not re-import your images. I assume you can see the thumbnails in the library module, just cannot access the full images, right? If this is the case there should be an exclamation mark in the top right corner of every one of your pictures and you only have to tell LR where the images are now.
Click the exclamation mark of one of the images and a dialog window should pop-up, telling you that LR cannot find the file, but with an option to locate it. Press "Locate" and navigate to the folder on your new HD where the file is. If in the new external HD you kept the same folder structure that you had on the internal disk, LR will be able to find all your images and re-link them to the database without further intervention. -
I have lost all my photos and other important datas please please help me
If you have a backup with iTunes you can restore the device from that. If not the data is gone.

Lost all of my voice memos after backup.
When I backup my iPhone 3GS in 10.5 is it doing a full backup of the phone or just what is checked in sync. Because I lost all my voice memos by just "backing it up" before upgrading to iOS5.
