Lost all my agents!

Yesterday morning av ~0800 all my agents suddenly lost contact with my management server. The error message on the agent is: 
The OpsMgr Connector connected to XXXX, but the connection was closed immediately after authentication occurred.  The most likely cause of this error is that the agent is not authorized to communicate
with the server, or the server has not received configuration.  Check the event log on the server for the presence of 20000 events, indicating that agents which are not approved are attempting to connect.
On the management server I get spammed down with thousands of these error messages:
A device which is not part of this management group has attempted to access this Health Service. 
Requesting Device Name : XXXXXX
I've tried the following:
* Restart agent and Management Server
* Update Certificate on Management Server
* Looked for orphaned agents on the database and via powershell
* Reinstalled Agent completely, making shure registry entries are gone
* SPN records look ok
I've also gone trough all the logs both on agent machine and management server but haven't found anything that could explain the issue. In the security logs on the management server all computer objects authenticate ok. 
I only have one management group.

Can you answer the below questions please ?
1. Are the agents able to ping to the management server ?
2. Are the agents able to telnet the port 5723 of the MS ?
3. Which version of SCOM is this ? 2007 R2 or 2012 or 2012 r2 ?
4. Is there any gateway server ? How many agents are of the same domain in which the MS as there ?
5. Is the action account password expired or some thing? Are you able go get the Events 7024,7025,7026 in the ops manager event logs of the MS / RMS ? (These tell the result of the action account status)
6. Is this issue for all agents or are all the 800 agents are via gateway ?
7. Are the services started ? What is your management server state via health explorer Healthy or ?

  • Lost all my toolbars, even the standard ones, can't go to "View - Toolbars"

    I've lost* all my toolbars - I don't even have the standard toolbar, so I can't go to "View -> Toolbars" to get it back. Right clicking in the header area doesn't bring up any useful options either....HELP!

    ok so we bought an ipod touch for my daughter and when she connected it to the computer after she downloaded itunes, she was asked if it was her ipod or a new one, so she clicked on her ipod and lost all her recent pics plus is unable to locate the app store on her safari on her ipod touch. any suggestions as to what went wrong or what should be done ? should we restore or what?

    - The iPod got erased since it sounds iTunes identified that the iPod has been synced with another computer and she said yes to making this computer her syncing computer. It could also she restored the iPod from the backup of another iPod, iPhone or iPad that was in iTunes. If in iTunes you go to Preferences>Devices is there a backup listed for her iPod with a date/time when she first connected the iPod to the computer. If so then restore the iPod from that backup.

    - Regarding the App store. The App store is not in Safari. It is a separate app. Also, could the Apple store be hidden by Restrictions? Settings>General>Restrictions. Further, can you find the App store via the Spotlight search on the iPod?

    can anyone help with retrieving My Library in Itunes and Itunes store - having updated Itunes and Icloud on 24 September 13, my computer failed and I lost all my files which were eventually backed up to an Emergency Backup.  my computer is now working again and I have down loaded Itunes and transferred all the files from my Emergency Backup.  Non of the music went back into Itunes, so I had to find these files and manually moved them to Itunes.  The music is now in Itunes, but I no longer have the folder named My Library, which I think is the reason my Ipad, ipod no longer sync any additional music I have added to Itunes. Does anyone know how to rectify this please.

    iTunes expects files and folders to be in very specific locations.  When you start iTunes it looks for a file called library.itl which is in the iTunes folder.  It then uses all the references in that file which tell it where all your media files are located to build up the view you normally see.  Probably you moved the library file so iTunes cannot find it and it will make a default one which is empty.  When you plug in your iPod it isn't recognizing the library since it is not the same one to which you synced last.
    Simply put, you need to undo all your file moves.  Not as eaily done as stated but since I cannot quite see from here exactly what you spent an hour doing last night it will be up to you.  Did you make a backup before doing all this?

    Your content will only be where you put it.  It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.
    You can transfer itunes purchases from your iphone: File>Device>Transfer purchases.
    You can import your pics taken with the iphone as you would with any digital camera.
    You can e-mail the other pics to yourself, they will never be of the original quality.
    You can out a unique contact and calendar entry on the computer.  You should get the option to merge the data when you sync.

    No, do not re-import your images. I assume you can see the thumbnails in the library module, just cannot access the full images, right? If this is the case there should be an exclamation mark in the top right corner of every one of your pictures and you only have to tell LR where the images are now.
    Click the exclamation mark of one of the images and a dialog window should pop-up, telling you that LR cannot find the file, but with an option to locate it. Press "Locate" and navigate to the folder on your new HD where the file is. If in the new external HD you kept the same folder structure that you had on the internal disk, LR will be able to find all your images and re-link them to the database without further intervention.

    If you have a backup with iTunes you can restore the device from that. If not the data is gone.

  • I installed lion. and lost all my previous apps also my email. my desktop is cleared. i have time machine and the disk that was used to back up is still oK and what did i do wrong. I can't use final cut or any of my software or applications

    I lost all my applicatons when I upgraded to Lion.  I have a backup disc with all my informatioin..  I am not sure what happened but under my harddrive i still have my user tab my orginal name is there and informaton. but its like i have a new computer with new harddrive.  I have final cut and many other programs that do not show up. can i get them back ?  also my emails are all gone.   can I do a restore ? to get back to normal ?   at this point i feel i have to reload safari and do a restore from time machine.

    Thanks so much but none of that helped.  It was driving me crazy because it would back up another external drive.  I just changed the name of the drive from iPhoto/iTunes Library to Media Libraries and IT WORKED!! I guess for some reason it didn't like the drive being called iPhoto or iTunes ???? I don't understand but I have tried so many solutions and exchanging things out but the name change did it????!!!

    If you are saying you can't turn off find my phone because it is still using an old ID, you need to change your ID back to the old address at My Apple ID turn off find my phone then change your ID back at my Apple ID.

    No, but you could import your contacts into Outlook on another computer.     I had the same problem and was able to fix it. Go to your iTunes and click on the Tones folder on the left under library. Some of my ring tones had an exclamation mark next to it and those were the ones that did not sync. You have to click on those and find it in your computer. Once the exclamation mark is gone, go to Tones section of your device in iTunes, make sure you select the tones you want synced, and click apply. I hope that helps you!
