Had a bug so reinstalled itunes now all my downloads are gone.How do i get them back?

Media (music, fillms, tv shows) can only downloaded once, which is why you are advised to make and maintain backups - are you sure that re-installing iTunes has removed your content, and it's not just that you havn't told iTunes where your content is ?
Apps can be re-downloaded for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519, as can books from iBooks.

Had to have new hard drive installed on PC. When I reinstalled iTunes on the PC all my music that was uploaded on my iPad was deleted . If they are still on your Mac's drive then you should be able to add them back into iTunes via File > Add To Library

If you created/burned Recovery Media boot from it to restore the original OS with all drivers/software. If you don't have Recovery Media you can order from HP for a small fee. You will, because the credited funds are on your iTunes account, not the application. When you reinstall iTunes just configure it with your old iTunes account and your credits will be there waiting for you.

Upgrading OS - How do I get all my music back into reinstalled iTunes?

Hi. We are upgrading my operating system from Windows 2000 to XP on my computer that currently runs iTunes. I have my entire iTunes folder backed up on another computer. I know I'll probably have to reinstall iTunes after the OS is upgraded. But how do I add all that music back into the new version of iTunes? We won't be replacing the hard drive, so all that music should still be on the same computer.
When I reinstall iTunes, will it automatically add the music back, or will I have to do that manually? If so, how do I do it? Just go to the "Add a folder" option in iTunes and add the entire iTunes folder? If I do that, my playlists should be restored since I have the .itl file in that folder, right?

Depending upon what country that you are in (and whether you've changed countries since buying the films), then if the films are still in your country's store (and those film studios allow redownloading) then you might be able to log into your old account and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes.
Logging into an account and redownloading its purchases may tie your computer to that account for 90 days : iTunes Store: Associating a device or computer to your Apple ID - so you won't be able to use iTunes Match, automatic downloads or redownload your new account's purchases until the 90 days have completed (it shouldn't affect new purchases). And, depending upon what you've already done with your new account, you may already be in a 90 day association to that account.

You can sync photos from your computer to your iPod via iTunes. You select in the Photos pane for the iPod in iTunes what folder of photos to sync to the iPod.

Actually, if you have never backed up your iPhone with iTunes or iCloud manually, there are still possibilities that iTunes or iCloud has backed up your iPhone automatically: every time you sync the iPhone with iTunes, iTunes will back up your iPhone automatically; if your iCloud backup was enabled, every time your iPhone is connected with Wifi and a power source with screen-locked, iCloud will create a backup automatically. If you find the backups, but the backups are not up to date, and you don’t want to lose the data generated after the backups, you can extract the lost data from the backups using the iPhone backup extractor.
In addition, you can also try to use the iPhone data recovery software to scan and recover the data on your iPhone directly even if you have no backups of your iPhone.

The "system" performed as designed. All devices syncing to one iCloud account are kept in common sync. The idea is that all such devices belong to one user. Different users should have different iCloud accounts. Once your contacts were edited, all devices were updated as well and subsequent backups (from yours and her device) reflected the changed contacts (and any other data that may have been edited like calendars). Your first task is to change your daughter over to a new account before she makes other changes.
The only way I see for getting back contacts is to restore them from a time machine backup, assuming you also have a Mac included in the account which syncs the contacts. However, I'm not sure whether time machine includes contacts from iCloud along with those that are local, "on my Mac".
Otherwise the deleted contacts are gone.
