Ack! We don't need that much.
What you posted looks like the iTunes Library.xml file I will let you read about how iTunes works but not only is the .xml not your main library it is just the listing of tracks in your library and where the music files should be located. Your music is actually in media files (by the way, it is pointless to zip those as they are already compressed). Anyway, read these and you will see that your true library file (iTunes Library.itl) is only a small, but still important, part of a complete library.
What are the iTunes library files? - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1660
More on iTunes library files and what they do - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ITunes#Media_management
What are all those iTunes files? - http://www.macworld.com/article/139974/2009/04/itunes_files.html
Where are my iTunes files located? - http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1391
As you can see, a library has several components, so "getting it back" depends upon what is missing, what it was you actually backed up in the end, if any of this music was purchased from the iTunes Store, etc.

I updated my phone and lost all of my apps. How can I get the apps on iTunes back on my phone?
I lost all of my apps icons today as well. I have to go to the Apps Store and click on the the app. Can't re-dowload and the app. store says that all of my apps. updates were applied. Where is this Synch Apps and the Apps Tab? On the phone or in iTunes. I hope that this works for me, too.
PS - every update that I have done has required a restore, and I only have a couple dozen apps. The Apple rep. I spoke with today said that I have to redownload the apps, but can't do that and even if I could I would loose my data. Grrrrrrr. -
I helped a lot of people with their iProblems, so it would be pleasure if somebody helped me. Please help me by having my apps back on my itunes account and my computer. I've spent a lot of money in it and suddenly they're gone. I really don't know how it happened.
Redownload them.
Computer: Open iTunes Store > Purchased (in Quick Links on right)
Phone: Apps - Open App Store app > Updates > Purchased
Music & Videos - Open iTunes app > More > Purchased -
My Firefox start page had a check box for searching Canadian pages which was lost when I upgraded to 4.0. How can I get this back?
The default about:home page in Firefox 4 doesn't give such features. You can set the home page to http://www.google.ca to get that possibility. The results page has a "Pages from Canada" link in the side menu at the left.

I lost all the icons at the bottom of individual emails on my iPhone. How do I get them back???
Open the mail app then press and hold the sleep/wake button until the red slide to power off thing appears. Without sliding the bar, press and hold the home button until the app quits.
Also clear the mail app from multitasking bar too. Then open mail app and check again -
All my calendar events were deleted when I clicked iCloud in settings. How do I get them back?
I think I was syncing... I just flipped that switch to the right and it "turned on calendar" but when I went to my calendar everything was gone.
When I go back now it doesn't do anything. -
I just updated my iPad to OS5 and all of my apps are gone. What did I do wrong and how can I get them back? Several were paid for. Thanks
If you have failed to make sure that any apps purchased on the iphone were transferred to your computer before updating, then you will have to redownload.
Open itunes store, click Purchased, under Quick Links. -
I lost my saved email file when I ugraded to Mountain Lion today. How can I get it back?? It has email messages dating back several years.
do you have a time machine backup or any other device that contains the emails you are now missing?
if so you can get them back that way. otherwise there isn't a way to retrieve them from the mac if they are nowhere on the HD.
also check on the email website to see if the messages are still there as well. -

I just updated my iphone to the ios 5 system and I lost all my music, however i also just puchased an imac desktop today and somewhom i can not seem to find my music in my libray on itunes either!!!
Help!Where did the content come from to begin with? It should all be in the iTunes library on your computer.
Did you fail to use some basic intelligence and ensure there was a backup of the device prior to updating it? -
I recently replaced the hard drive on my Windows 7 computer and in the process lost all my music. I think it should be on the iCoud. Can I get it back from the iCloud to my computer? Or can I "reverse-synch" FROM my iPhone TO iTunes?
All the music you purchased from iTunes can be re-downloaded, all the music you acquired without purchasing from iTunes can be accessed using Senuti (not free). The combination of these 2 will get your music back.

Hello,
Ive been using sync on both my laptop and desktop in windows 7 and linux mint. Its been working great cross platform, but I recently formatted my drives and reinstalled everything. I obviously didn't save the Firefox passwords because I trusted the sync server to have it all. After a fresh OS install, I installed the latest ver of Firefox, logged in to my sync account and selected the default option for sync (both ways) knowing that the server has all my data and will download it onto my newly installed Firefox.
Unfortunately the server doesn't seem to have my data anymore as it didn't download any passwords I had saved and sync since before the full format/installation process.
How do I get it back now? Does the server has a roll back function?
Thank you
OviThank you again for your kind and prompt reply. I really appreciate it. I think the fact that I am transferring stuff from my old desktop PC to a new laptop has saved me. I copied all the apps from iTunes on the old desktop to a flashdrive, then added those apps (via Explorer!) into iTunes Media. Then I synched the phone. I have got all but 45 apps back, including the data!!! How awesome is that! It's 9.50 pm here in Australia and I have been sat in front of all this technology for about 15 hours now, so I'm giving up for the night. Perhaps tomorrow, somehow the lost 45 apps will magically appear. I haven't quite worked out which ones I'm missing as I'm so tired.
I want to thank you most sincerely though for taking the time to reply to me. You are wonderful.
Please, Heavenly Technology God, let this all work in the morning. -
I have Windows XP and downloaded Firefox 4.0.1. After it was installed 5/7/11, I noticed all my Yahoo search bar apps were missing. Rebooting did not help. Neither did the "gear" on the toolbar next to the yellow Yahoo search box. Internet Explorer browser still shows them. How can I get the apps back in Firefox?
I have Windows 7, the Yahoo toolbar has been working fine until today now all my apps are missing.
Refreshing the toolbar does nothing. -
how can I get my camera app back when I have ost it my have delited it when trying to move to a diffent part
last thing you can try would be go to settings, general, settings, reset all settings
if that does not work, a factory restore will be needed... -
I can't remember the answers of my security questions and i lost my safety email as well. Unfortunately, I just add 3000YEN into the acc. How can I reset the security questions? or how can I get that 3000YEN back ? anyone can me with this situation T.T
You won't be able to view and/or change your rescue email address until you can answer your questions, you will need to contact Support in your country to get the questions reset.
Contacting Apple about account security : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5699
When they've been reset you can then use the steps half-way down this page to view and/or change your rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312

Does a long running process survive a server crash
Hi, I assume the bpel dehydration means that a long running process can survive a server crash, but I'd like some expert to confirm this. Suppose I have a long running process which is in an infinite loop to keep invoking a web service. In the middle
