Lost all notes on iCloud!!

Help! All my notes disappeared from all of my devises on iCloud. Do anyone know wath to do or is all lost?

mine went missing too.But i found them on my email account on yahoo notes .try there
i cant update all my devises with the notes do you know how too please ?

Then go to the iTunes Store and select "Purchased" from the Quick Links side bar on the right. Go through all the tabs to download again for free

Lost valuable Notes via iCloud sync

I have the yellow "Notes" app on my iPhone, iPad and MacBook Air (Mountain Lion GM).
Today I added very valuable ideas to one of my notes. When I arrived home, I found out that I lost all of them, because iCloud synced an older version.
I lost my confidence in this VERY usefull app.
Is there any way to get those notes back?

Worse still: the new iTunes will has discontinued to sync notes from MS Outlook with standard iTunes sync (wired or wireless)
Try Evernotes, or another 3rd party app.

Lost all notes when error occurred while updating

I was updating my ipad to IOS 5 when an error occurred.
I was able to restart the update and complete it, but I lost all of my notes and contacts!!!
Please Help!!!

You’re having two problems there, I think. One is with the disk. You’re not going anywhere with the other until you can get that to mount.
Assuming you can, it sounds like the database has been damaged:
Try these in order - from best option on down...
1. Do you have an up-to-date back up? If so, try copy the library6.iphoto file from the back up to the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) allowing it to overwrite the damaged file.
2. Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.
3. If neither of these work then you'll need to create and populate a new library.
To create and populate a new *iPhoto 08* library:
Note this will give you a working library with the same Events and pictures as before, however, you will lose your albums, keywords, modified versions, books, calendars etc.
In the iPhoto Preferences -> Events Uncheck the box at 'Imported Items from the Finder'
Move the iPhoto Library to the desktop
Launch iPhoto. It will ask if you wish to create a new Library. Say Yes.
Go into the iPhoto Library (Right Click -> Show Package Contents) on your desktop and find the Originals folder. From the Originals folder drag the individual Event Folders to the iPhoto Window and it will recreate them in the new library.
When you're sure all is well you can delete the iPhoto Library on your desktop.
In the future, in addition to your usual back up routine, you might like to make a copy of the library6.iPhoto file whenever you have made changes to the library as protection against database corruption.

Lost all notes on iphone Notes.

Lost all iphone Notes ( maybe after I changed the itunes setting - "Sync Notes" to unchecked.) Is that the reason why and how can I recover the notes ?

Wow, this is a serious problem. I'm a new iPhone 4 user, and I had created several Notes over the last four weeks since I purchased the phone. Yesterday I was in Notes, and suddenly, the file I was editing, as well as ALL my other notes, disappeared. Gone. The one I was adding to at length when this happened had some important information - so taking a backup is not an answer if you're losing your edits as you go. And in any event, why does it wipe them out?!
Looking at discussions, this is an ongoing bug that's been around at least since March 2010. Anyone have any word on when Apple will address it? This is extremely upsetting, and is the worse kind of bug - one that randomly deletes saved data.

I've lost old notes in iCloud

I only back up my devises to icloud and I've lost old notes. Do old notes expire or is there a maximum number of notes that can be stored. I dont back up to my computer / itunes
so i cant retrieve from any archive.

It's not clear if notes are part of your back up, but if they are, the back up will contain the same notes you had on your device at the time it was backed up, iCloud back up keeps the last 3 back ups.

Sync ALL notes through iCloud

I have notes and reminder 'on' in my iCloud setting, but still not all notes that are on my iPad appear on my iPhone.
How do I make this work?

First, log on to https://icloud.com using your Apple ID. Click on Notes. Do you see all of your notes there?
If you do see them online, then on the iPhone go to Settings/iCloud and turn off Notes. Then turn it back on. This should force Notes to resync.

HELP! Lost all notes with first Sync and need to get them back

I had some very important notes on my phone and I need to get them back. Here is some background info.
I bought a new MacBook Pro a couple months ago. I previously have a Sony Vaio. Shortly after I upgraded from 3G to 3GS. Since I couldn't get my playlists from my old laptop to my new laptop, I synced my phone with my old laptop and not my new one for fear of losing everything.
Today, I finally figured out to get my playlists on my MacBook and then I synced my iphone as usual and upgraded to 3.0.1. Of course, I also upgraded to iTunes 9 right beforehand and it had a couple new options for syncing notes and merging data. I have never synced notes before. Everything else seems fine on my phone except for this. I tried restoring to backup, however, I think that iTunes created a new backup on my Macbook since it was the first time I have synced my phone with it. I no longer have my old laptop. I did transfer all my old files to my mac.
What can I do?! How can I get them back?!

If you use the Time Machine on your computer then you can try to find an older copy of the places.sqlite file.

This answer is for a PC.
Pull up your list of music in iTunes. Right click on the Name or any field in the Title bar. Put a check next to iCloud download. This will put the field in your title bar.Click on the iCloud in the Title bar to bring all the music that is in the cloud to the top of the list. Highlight the first song then hold down the Shift key and left click on the last song with a iCloud symbol this will select (highlight) all the songs. Right click on any song and choose download. It will download all the songs.

Notes application repeating all notes, & has icloud error

Happens constantly. I then have to manually delete each repeated note.
Notes also frequently tosses up a iCloud connection errors.
Notes on my iPhone and iPad do seem to work correctly.

Nobody knows this error? I can switch of the iCloud settings on the devices, but i have fear too loose my data on the cloud, and on the local pc. What can i do for recofigure the cloud without risk of loosing data?

Changed to new iPhone lost all Notes

Changed my phone from 4S to 5S, backuped the 4S on iTunes and synced to the new phone but none of the saved notes show up.
The notes are not on e-mail account and i don't have a iclouds account.
Are there anyway of reading the notes synced on iTunes on my Mac.

Maybe you should use the iPhone backup viewer to check whether the notes were backed up or not in the iTunes backup files. The tool can also backup the notes on your iPhone to your Mac or extract the notes from iTunes or iCloud backup files and transfer them to your iPhone 5s.
Syncing Notes using iTunes is no longer supported on OS X v10.8 and later.

Lost All Notes, How do I recover them?

Hello I use my notes in my iphone all the time. I recently backed up all my notes on my imac in mail. or at least I thought I did. They were in my mail. Yesterday I synced my iphone again to erase some songs. A couple hours later I look at my iphone notes and there werent any! I dont know if they were erased in the sync or when I wasnt looking at my phone and accidentally deleted them all at once or what.??    They were there for months now there gone. I plugged my iphone in and went to my mail where I thought they would still be. Much to my surprise they were gone from there too. Maybe they erased immediately when I plugged in my iphone and there werent any notes. I dont know. But is there any way to get them back?   I have hundreds of important notes in there that I need. Please Help

Update.   So I was told I could plug in my iphone, Hold control and click and select restore to backup. Thje only problem with this is the only backup options it gives me are from last year. I thought it was supposed to backup with every sync. I have definitely synced a few times since last year 2010 (which is how my notes were erased) but it only gives me the two options form 2010.   Anyone have any suggestions or reasons why it may not have backed up with each sync or how I can find all the backups from 2011 or are they gone?    Thanks

Assuming you have made backups of the old device on icloud, then reset the new one and connect it to itunes. It will lead you through the setup and give you a chance to restore from the backup. After, be sure Settings>iCloud is turned on and that the services you want backed up are turned on.

HT1688 Iphone 5 I lost all my notes. Any suggestions

Any help on recovering notes from iphone 5?

I just lost all notes. I tried the backups but as soon as restore was completed, it would lose notes again. I disconnected after recover but still no notes.
Out of desperation, as I have all my passwords etc on it (yes, I know) but I trusted the iTunes backup system. I looked on the net and found a recovery company called Wondershare, Dr Phone. I tested it and there it all was, but it has now cost me £71 to purchase key number to download my info.
All notes info and everything else is available. It saves it in a file which you open.
Now I have to type it all in again. I will keep manual backups now as well as using Dropbox from now on. Nightmare. I hope this helps you all.
