Lost all user data randomly.

Question

I lost all of my Firefox data this afternoon. I may have just rebooted from a BSOD in Windows 7 (cant remember). When I started Firefox it opened the import bookmarks prompt and all 3 of my profiles were gone. I do have my 3 profile folders in appdata still but I don't know how I should go about restoring them. Any ideas on what happened, or advice?

Firefox automatically creates a backup of your bookmarks, which can be useful if you lose or disappear. To recover follow these instructions.

# At the top of the library window Scores, click Import and Backup'''' and select'' Reset''.
# Click the date you want to restore the backup of your bookmarks.
# In the new window that appears, click OK.
