Lost "American" iTunes radio stream folder

I somehow erased or deleated the "American" radio stream file from my iTunes. I would like to get it back. I miss some of the stations or streams and can't find them in any of the other folder.
How can I get that folder/stream reinstalled without the risk of losing or damaging all my any other iTune library? How did I lose it (delete it) in the first place?

If you're referring to a genre or station in the Tuner section of iTunes, you didn't "lose" it, per se. Those listings come from a server somewhere (only Apple knows where), and from time to time listings are altered, added or removed and there's no way for a user to put them back. If the station is still netcasting, you should be able to do a web search for them, find their stream, and either add it back to iTunes (it'll just appear in the library and you can drag it to a playlist for easy access), or use whatever player the station now supports (some stations get removed from the iTunes Tuner because they no longer cast in an iTunes-compatible format, as is the case with Air America, if that's who you mean).

ITunes Radio Streams Not Listed

Hi,
After installing the latest version of iTunes on a Windows XP machine, iTunes does not list the radio streams, not even the catagories of radio streams. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the radio streams visible? Prior to upgrading, the radio streams were available. Also, the computer is behind a company firewall and most, but not all, radio strams are blocked.

Itunes radio stream quality

Itunes 10 radio streams are horrible. It sounds as if the chosen station and several weaker different stations are being simultaneously streamed. Often part of the the song comes through strong, but the vocal track sounds weak and tinny. Anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas on a fix?

Itunes Radio Streaming Problem

Does anyone have any update on what is happening with itunes streams?
I pulled most of my stations into a playlist and itunes finally loaded all the streams.
I've kept itunes open since the weekend and for the joy of music have listened to some stations I might never have tried
but I will eventually have to do a restart due to something-freezing etc.
I am just hoping for some news-like it's been fixed. Thank you

I had assumed the issue had cleared up since we were no longer seeing a post every 10 minutes about it.
If you have working connections in the playlists they should not disappear. As far as I could tell (I never had any problem), what was failing was iTunes querying some server somewhere about what stations were in a genre list. Once you have the actual station URL in a playlist it should stay there.

ITunes match and iTunes radio skips songs on wifi

iTunes match and iTunes radio have been skipping songs while on wifi. We have a Linksys EA6350 setup in WPA2 personal for both the 2.5 ghz and 5 ghz networks. Both are setup as mixed 802.11n/ac with both on a channel width of AUTO. We are using two Apple TV's, iPhone 5s and a iPad 2. One of the apple TV's is setup as a different iTunes account than the others. It skips songs on all devices and accounts, however when I turn the wifi off on my iPhone both iTunes match and iTunes radio work flawlessly. What should I do?

It appears to affect every device I have on the home network (iMac, MacBook Pro, Macbook Air, iPhone, iPad). Most devices are wifi, but I can confirm the issue also occurs on my iMac which is connected via ethernet. I'm able to get both iTunes match streaming and iTunes Radio streaming to the iPhone and iPad if I disable wifi and use LTE.
On my iOS devices, it just looks like it's skipping songs repeatedly...every now and then it might play one song, but it skips 30-50 before that happens. A few times it just kept skipping until the device rebooted itself. On my OS X devices, I don't get any of the skipping, it just looks like it's trying to load the radio station (i get the blue progress bar at 100% but nothing ever happens).
For what it's worth, I'm using an Apple Time Capsule for as my DHCP for ethernet and wifi. My internet provider is Cox Communications.

How do I access Itunes radio for the first time?

It does not show up on my toolbar in itunes or the drop down music bar. I have the latest version of Itunes. I have restarted itunes and my computer but neither worked. I am using a macbook with IOS 7.

first of all ios 7 doesnt go on macbooks. on ipads it does. your ipad has to be ios 7 to have radio. check in settings- general- about - version to tell ios version
on ipad click orange music tab not itunes store. the radio is on lower left corner

How can I play iTunes Radio on my MAC, I listen to it on my Apple TV and Iphone 5, but cannot find it on iTunes installed on my MAC, Currently have iTunes 11.2.1 (says software is up to date) installed Running Mac OSX 10.6.8 on 1st Gen MacBook Pro.

Itunes radio skips like crazy.

My iTunes radio will play a song then begin to skip like crazy. Quitting music and relaunching it allows one song to play then the issue occurs again. I can see songs as they go by but it is like somoene is holding down the forward skip button. This is only occurring on my 5s and was not an issue on my 4s prior to upgrading. This occurs still after the 7.0.1 patch.

ITunes radio playlist w/iPod Touch?

Looking at buying a refurbed iPod Touch and have some questions.
I currently use my MacBook Pro to stream Internet radio via iTunes and AirPlay. I want to use the iPTouch as AirPlay master instead of the MBP.
When I sync the iPTouch to the MBP, will my radio station playlist sync and work or will I need a separate app?

iTunes radio streaming isn't part of iOS. Therefore, you'll need a third-party app for this. I would say that there's a lot of them in the apps store that are better than what you got in iTunes in the way that you can easily customize any radio station you want.

ITunes radio station (Americana?)

I'm new at this and just dicovered the iTunes radio. I could have sworn there was an "Americana" title in the Stream column and that I clicked on it to see what was there, but it disappeared. Was there an Americana section or was I just seeing things? If there was, how can I get it back?

Same here - with the 1st click onto 'Americana' it vanishes into thin air.
As you can't edit those categories/streams in that Radio section I guess it had been pulled for whatever reasons

I lost my itunes media folder how can I export the photos from my ipad to another location

I lost my itunes media folder and also my iPhoto files. I have the majority of the photos from iPhoto library on my iPad. How can I get them from my iPad to another location. Like exporting them to a folder on an external drive.Is this possible. I know I can move photos I've taken with the ipad to a new iphoto, but how can a get the old iphoto photos from my ipad to a new location? I'm basically starting over. Don't ask what happened. It was horrible.

An external drive? Not sure that there is any way of doing that. There are a number of WiFi transfer apps that should let you transfer the photos back to the Mac itself. Look at some of these.
