Lost app, says its already installed

after I updated my ios to 6.1 I did an app update, one of my apps was not loading so I restatred my iphone 5. No my facebook app is gone and when i go to reinstall it it says its already installed and wont let me reinstall.

First check your Applications folder to see if the app was installled there.
If not, from the App Store menu bar top of your screen click Store > Check for Unfinished Downloads.
If that doesn't help, try re downloading the app.
How to re download apps from the Mac App Store:
Open the App Store. From the menu bar click Store > Sign In
Click Purchases from the top of the App Store window.
Select which apps you want to re download. Then right or control click where you see Installed then click Install.
Make sure and use the same Apple ID used for the original download.
If you hae anti virus software installed, you may need to disable that before downloading apps.

I'm having the same issue with a file called IMG_2353.MOV that was imported into iPhoto from my iPhone and also have to manually select the items to import (so the rogue file doesn't error everything out). I've tried using Image Capture to locate/delete the file directly from my iPhone, but even though I can SEE it in Image Capture, I can't delete it or anything. This is VERY frustrating! My friend/Apple guru's only suggestion was to backup my phone then restore it through iTunes. Risky but should do the trick. I'm too scared to try, though!

Photoshop says its already installed even when its not.

I have installed all the other programs that I need however Photoshop for some reason is not installing. It says that it is already installed but when you go to applications it is not there. In the adobe download manager it shows as ligthened out as seen in the images below.

1) I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the extension manager cc multiple times.

3) and yes both are up to date

Thanks... I grabbed it (all of them, actually) but now I'm having trouble installing them (not an Adobe problem, I don't think; they recently changed a bunch of security protocols here and I think that's what's preventing me from running the updater).
I am curious, though: if there was an update to the Extension Manager (and there were FIVE of them) why does my Creative Cloud app tell me that I'm up to date????

Did you "delete" Photoshop using the uninstaller or did you just delete files on your computer?
If you did not run the uninstaller then please run it. You can find it in the Control Panel on Windows or under Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers on Mac OS X.
See if you can install it from the Adobe Application Manager now. If not then you need to run the Adobe Cleaner Tool which you can dowload from http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html.

HOW DO I re-install programs when its says its already installed

my computer had speedgrade, premier, and audition on it. then i had to restore my computer to a point before i had those and adobe cc installed. so when i re-installed adobe cc and opened it, it shows that all those programs are installed and up to date and wont let me re-install them. how can i fix this?

App Store keep asking to update for 10.9.4 and its already installed

Hello ,
In the past two days App Store keep telling me to update for 10.9.4 and its already installed on my laptop . and if i press to download App Store is downloading the whole mavericks again which is 5.* GB .
in order to try solving the problem i went to apple website and downloaded the update manually 10.9.4 that fixes the same bugs , and i installed it . but App Store keep telling me to update something that its already installed !!! any suggestion please ?
I'm using MacBook Pro 2011 late .
8 GB Memory
The existing OS X is 10.9.4 .

@Barney-15E : i have only one hard disc divided into two partitions one for mac and the other for windows so i think its not a problem !!
@quarkdoll : The thing I'm having is that the update pop's out sometimes and tells me to "Update to 10.9.4 as i said above" and mostly its telling me "No Update Available" . its really confusing !!

Problem solved! , my tube is back to normal ( to rock )
all i did is , removed the sys,private,system,resources,data folders from the memory card , switched off my phone , removed the memory card , did a soft reset (*#7370#) and tried to install an application from downloads , i was able to install in the phone memory as memmory card was not inserted then switched off the phone , inserted the memory card and tried to install an application from the downloads, finally i was asked where to install the app. and gave memory card , viola application installed sucessfully

Installed then removed Acrobat but Creative Cloud says its still installed so I can't install it again.

I've seen issues with precloud subs in CC but not with an app that was a CC download.
Just like the subject says, "Installed then removed Acrobat but Creative Cloud says its still installed so I can't install it again."
How do I get CC to recognize that acrobat isn't on my computer so I can download it again?

Here is the thing the actual license for Apple to have a native YouTube app has expired you must understand this more about Apple removing Google from its ecosystem and less about actual licenses. If Apple was so inclined I am almost certain they could have continued to provide a native YouTube app.
Do you really think that Apple Maps are "better" for iOS users? You know that you can set your default search to another provider such as Bing? Imagine Apple changing its default Safari search to Bing. You must understand that Google makes more from searches on iOS devices than it does on everyting that is Andriod (source:http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/google-earns-four-times-more-from-ios-than-a ndroid/). Apple is slowly and meticulously working on freeing iOS of Google products.
Of course it is a free market and Apple will most certainly allow Google's apps on their app store.
