Lost app

Hello everyone
I lost all my purchased applications on my iPhone 4. After I connected my phone to the PC, message appeared on iTunes asking me whether I want to transfer all my purchased applications to the PC or not, so I chose "Transfer". The phone started to sync and when it done, I did not find the folder contain all my applications on the iTunes. When I checked on my phone, they are all gone as well. My phone looks like a brand new phone with not even 1 purchased application on it.
Does anyone have an idea why this happens and explain to me? I am quite new with apple product, so.. I really really need your help.

There is no need to do that, I had the same problem pal! Just do this and all should be fine!
Delete one of the app's and re-install it, then for some reason everythign is restored to as it was!

Before upgrading have you got your backup on desktop software ?
If yes then can , then connect your device to BB desktop software > On BB Desktop software Click applications>
There you can see all you application List before your upgrade.
Select on the Application that you want to transfer then Click APPLY.
If your Lost Apps are paid APPS. and you are not able get it than look at this thread link reinstalling paid apps

Two ways.
- You can sync with the new computer by following these instructions

All the apps have to be in the iTunes library so the app data will have a place to go.
- Or just restore from iCloud backup. That will also pull down the apps from iCloud. Your apps data will also be restored.

How do I get credit on lost apps?

Recently had to replace my dead iPhone 3Gs. (last night). After restoring it from a back up (PC iTunes updated) I have lost a dozen or so paid apps. I looked over my acct and it shows the history of downloads and payments. I asked the Apple Genius rep lastnight beforehand about this-- he mentioned Apple would refund my account for lost apps. You won't get a refund. Once you've paid for an app, you can redownload it free of charge as long as it's to the same iTunes account.
In your case, simply redownload those lost apps. It appears you might need to be repurchase, but at the final step it will say that you've already purchased the app and do you wish to download.

Lost apps after upgrade to 5.0.0.591

Like many on this forum, I had the upgrade to 5.0.0.591 pushed to me by Verizon. In general, I have not had nearly as many problems as many have reported on this forum, but I have lost a couple of apps including Audible player and Shazaam. Are there any known fixes to these apps? Details below:
My Blackberry Tour 9630 recently updated itself to a new OS version. I am now running v 5.0.0.591 (Bundle 1002, Platform 4.2.0.272). In the process of the upgrade, it seemed to break the Audible player (version 1.4.12) that had been working fine up to that point. It is now listed as "Unavailable" in the applications list. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling to no avail. Additionally, Shazaam Encore 2.5.1 will no longer run.
Any suggestions that you might have would be greatly appreciated.

- Have you used the Spotlign search to find it? Maybe you just can't find it.
- Is it hdden by Restrictions? Go to Settingds>General>Restrictions to check. If it asks for a passcode you have Restrictions set.

C:\Users\<your account name>\Music\iTunes\Mobile Applications
their extensions are .Ipa you can try doing a search on your harddisk
unless you formattet it when you reinstalled
but an app can only ever be bought 1 times on an appleID so if you try to buy them again it will give you a free download of the app and not charge you
about sync then if you connect the ipad and click info tab and set it to sync your outlook data it should sync without any problems

Has anyone lost apps when they downloaded the new software? I had a magazine subscription which I now don't have since updating my iPad.

They should be in the iTunes library on your computer. Connect the device and sync what you would like to the device.
The only time I've heard of apps not re-appearing on a device after an update is when a user interrupts the upgrade process. Have you tried a restore of the device using the backup created just prior to the update?

Are you running with Snow Leopard 10.6.5 as your profile suggests.   If so you should not be able to get to the App Store.   So what do you have?
You need Snow Leopard update 10.6.8.   Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1
Once you have that I don't see why not.   Check your purchase listing.   If it is there you can download again free.

II've lost apps on my ipad that you can't normally erase!! I have also lost apps like twitter, spodify, and yotube! I don't know what happened. The apps such as Youtube and spodify etc were white and so I tried turning off my iPad and turning it back on. Then when I turned it back on the apps were totally gone! Start with searching on your iPad by pulling down when at your Home Screen and type Settings to pull it up. Then check to see if any restrictions are turned on that maybe causing the Apps to be hidden. If all is good, then you will need to restore your iPad by following the steps in the last article.

Lost apps...how to recover

Synced my ipad and lost about 12 apps. Unfortunately, I didn't have a backup (no way to backup that I could find) so I'm left with a fraction of my apps. Does ITunes have a list of apps bought by a person? And is there anyway to recover lost apps from ITunes or do I have to buy them all over again?

Once purchased the apps are tied to your iTunes account. You can redownload them as many times as you want. Upgrade your phone? No problem. Just open the App Store app, sign in with your itunes account and go to the updates tab then hit Not in this iPhone to review all your past purchases and to reinstall them. Or you can search for apps you already purchased and just install them.
Newer devices will show you app you've already purchased while older devices will not. If on an older device you find your previous purchased app then hit buy, sign in with the iTunes account that the app was purchased on and go. A message will appear saying you've already bought this app then asking if you want to install it again for free.

I would like to recover lost app I purchased in the past.
I did an OS upgrade to iOS 6.0.1, then I got about 34 update notifications. The system failed to update after I authenticate. Through research online, I was advise to uninstall the apps and the reinstall them. After the apps uninstallation, I found that I am not entitle to the purchased apps that was installed on my phone earlier. In iTunes, I only found apps I installed in the past year.
Is there a way to recover lost apps that I purchased? I used the same apple account for the past 3 years.
