Lost apps store icon on ipad

my disabled daughter has wandering fingers and can wipe things out and she has lost her apps store icon. how can i reinstall it/

Thanks BUT; when i go to restrictions it asks for a restrictions passcode which i have no record of, there is no info in the user guide on 'restrictions passcode' it is not the ipad passcode and i have used 6 attempt on all the recorde=ed codes i have. it seems to have its own [unles one of the children have set one]
will look at the reset user guide page 136 option soon.
my poor 51 year old mind i awash with paswrods and codes and crap.

- Is it hdden by Restrictions? Go to Settingds>General>Restrictions to check. If it asks for a passcode you have Restrictions set.

I don't think you understand. You only needed to check restrictions in case you had been using restrictions. If you we're not using restrictions, then you could not have disabled installing of apps. There is no need to turn it on, IF it was turned on and you were not using it.
If you were not using restrictions and you reset the home screen layout, and neither of those worked for you, something is wrong. What you are saying doesn't make sense.

Found the answer. I had to Enable Restrictions, move all App selections to Right and then Disable Restriction.
Now I have my App Store Icon back!

Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I have gone through the router reset for home network, Router reset at work. Restarted my personal hotspot on my iPhone that is running the same IOS.
I have performed the Network settings reset on the iPad.
I have performed a hard reboot on the iPad, (Home button and power button until logo appears)
Also I had to update the Apple driver on my laptop for iTunes to see my iPad after I had updated iTunes, I'm not sure if I lost wifi after I updated the iPad IOS or updating iTunes.

My disbaled daughter's ipad has the same problem, i tried to go through the setting/general/restrictions [buit could not find the code for restrictions so i had to restore the ipad on i tunes, hurrah apps store icon, but then i synched her back up and the icon disappeared again. so i did again but not synch the back up tio the cloud and restore but rest the bipad, input the setting again then backed up the data files only thwen the icon stayed
