Lost calendar events from pc and hand held

I am searching for anyone who has any other ideas to help me find my lost info. I have spoken to tech support and 1 other person on the forum, all have been very helpful, but I have not been able to fix yet and figured I would also post my question for all to see to see if anyone has anyother ideas. I am not very computer litterate but am desperate to hopefully get back some of my info. I have the Palm Zire 72. I have the program loaded in my pc at work and open it everyday for the last 3-4 years. When I opened it up on my pc on Thurs I noticed all of my calendar apts, notes were gone except for some recurring things. I also keep track of my sons schedule under his user name, but all of his info was intact. My contacts were also fine. I grabbed my hand held and did a sinc, I got the error have have seen others have gotten about the memory being full and it erased all the info from the calendar on my hand held also. Needless to say I freaked. I called cust sve, they had me change the .bak file to .dat and .old, all of that. It did not put hardly anything back on the pc.
I have only done 1 sinc, the one that lost it all from the handheld. When I look on the hand held under space, it shows like I have over 4,000 recs on the calender, but I dont see them. Could it be stored somewhere else on the handheld or is it all lost and I should just give up?
I am going to tey the fix download I was told about, but my boos looked for me and says there is nothing in my datebook file on my pc. I dont understand how the information would disappear, where it would go, and why it would erase it from my palm when I did a sinc. And only for my user name?
In the info of the palm it shows 4000 records, but on the actual calendar they dont show. Does it store it somewhere where I can at least view them and write it all down?
Any miracle workers out there???
My pc at work is using windows and I have the version Palm 4.1
Thanks again to those who have tried to help me up to now, I am just pulling at strings now, hoping to see if anything else can be done. Maybe it is hiding on my palm somewhere

Thanks - initially the calendar seemed to be totally empty. I then did as you suggest and discovered the events prior to 2013. It is almost as if there was an incomplete synch and then it synched again and took the incomplete version as the correct version - loosing all 2013 events and some of the events prior to 2013!

initially we made a connection and retrieve the mail items from server
we use search method of org.webdav.lib.httpclient.method.search method to search and retrieve the responses
can any one say how to build an XML request for retrieving calendar events from exchange and how to parse the search method response from and retrieving it.
it would be more helpful if any one throw some light on this

Lost calendar events after sync

after syncing my mac book air with my iphone 4 i lost all my past and future calendar events on my macbook and iphone.
I have backups on time capsule:
Q: how do i recover my approx 900 calendar events from time capsule into my calendar on macbook without copy and paste 900 of them into their respective date on my now empty calendar?

I can't get my iPhone 3GS to sync calendars with either iCal or Outlook. Everything I entered into my iPhone calendar is GONE. The data I previously entered into and synced from my iPhone is still in my Outlook calendar, which used to sync seamlessly, but I can't get iCal to import the Outlook calendar, either (my assumption being that the iPhone would be more apt to sync to an Apple device more than a Microsoft application). The only calendar events that sync from my Mac Pro to my iPhone are the few that are in iCal. Office 2011 for Mac just had a big update, too - I wonder if there are multiple culprits here.

To set up CalDAV support for Google Calendar in Apple's iCal, follow these steps:
Open Apple iCal, go to Preferences and then the Accounts tab.
Click on the + button to add an account.
In the box that pops up, enter a description for the account and your Google Account username and password.
Under Server Options, add the following URL:
https://www.google.com/calendar/dav/[email protected]/user//www.google.com/calendar/dav/[email protected]/user
Replace '[email protected]' with the email address that you use to log in to Calendar. Make sure to include the '@domain.com' portion (which is @gmail.com for Gmail users) in this section.
DO NOT substitute your username for 'user' at the end of the URL.
Leave the Use Kerberos v5 for authentication option unchecked.
Click Add.

Event information will automatically refresh every five minutes. Keep in mind you can also force a refresh by selecting a calendar and pressing the Apple and R keys at the same time.
Calendars that are checked but disabled have already been added to iCal - you can remove them from within iCal.

Can't create Calendar Event from Mail on my iPad anymore

I no longer can create a new iPad Calendar Event from tapping on a date in email I receive. The new Event dialog box will still appear when I click on the date in an email, but the dialog box is now too small and off-center, hiding the Done button in the upper right corner of the Dialog. Without the Done button, I can't create the new Calendar Event. I can't resize the dialog box, or re-center it.
Is this a common problem after the latest iOS update? Can anyone help? Thanks.

Create Calendar event from Mail on iPad Mini in landscape

I have an iPad Mini. While in landscape and creating a new calendar event from the body of an email (by selecting the date in the body) I'm unable to get the entire (it is truncated) screen allowing me to set the date and time of the event. It doesn't show the Done button in the upper right.
This works fine on my other devices (iPad and iPhone) in landscape, and also works fine on the iPad Mini in portrait, but it does not work in landscape.
Does anyone else have this problem?

If the calendar is on iCoud.com, all you would need to do to get it on your phone is go to Settings>iCloud on your phone, sign into your iCoud account and turn Calendars on. The iCloud calendars will then download to your phone.

I tried to re-synch it with the PC iTunes, but no luck, even when re-checking the boxes for Outlook...

I should mention that i have NOT upgraded to iOS 5 on the 3GS and don't want to. Therefore, no iCloud on the phone.

How to force a restore of contacts and calendar events from Palm Profile? (and memos and tasks!)

Yesterday I had to do a partial erase restart of my beloved Palm Pre. In the past I have had to do full data restorations, and have had no problems at all. This time, however, my Pre did not recover the dozens of contacts saved in my Palm Profile, nor did it recover any of the Palm Profile calendar events (and all my memos are gone, as well as tasks). I've tried using the "synch" button in the contacts preferences dialog box, but it did nothing. Does anyone know if it is possible to "force" a full recovery of your data from the Palm Profile backup, or if there is a way to access that data online somehow? Much of my contact data I have successfully migrated through seven previous Palm PDAs and phones...it would be too painfully ironic if I've now lost all of that data just because I bought a Palm Pre and trusted the Profile backup system...

Lost all calendar events since 2012 and most before then!

I updated my wife's iPhone to her own iTunes/Apple ID - now any calendar events since 2012 have been deleted and even some of those left i.e. from 2012 and before have been deleted as well.
Whenever I was offered the option to delete/merge/keep items they were kept and not deleted.
I have looked everywhere I can think off, including using iPhone recovery software - and there isn't any sign of deleted calendar events! If they had been deleted as I changed the Apple ID - I would have thought they would all have been deleted! As you can appreciate it, I am now firmly in the dog house! - where have they gone and can I recover them?

Why can´t I see contacts and calendar events from my iPhone in my mac pro if I already registered it in the cloud?

Why can´t I see contacts and calendar events already registered in my iPhone, in my Mac Pro ? I already actualize LION OSX and selected these items in the adjustments menu of the icloud. I could do it just once, after I installed Lion OSX, but up to the moment it does not updates.

Assuming you activated iCloud, try going to Settings>iCloud and make sure Calendars and Contacts are set to ON.

ICloud will not sync contacts and calendar events from my iPhone to my macbook pro.

Check that you have entered the information into an iCloud group and not an On My Mac group, only information in iCloud groups will sync.

ICal Help Needed! (cannot delete calendars/events on computer and iPhone)

I need some help with my iCal. Background info:
-Currently have an iPhone 3GS
-Using Google Calendar
-Use separate calendar on iPhone (Pocket Informant)
-Wanted to sync all event from Outlook to Google Calendar to iCal to two calendars on phone (this became an issue with alarms so began attempting to delete all events from the original iPhone calendar that I do not want to use)
I started by syncing my Outlook (one way) with my Google Calendar, which syncs with the iCal on computer and Pocket Informant on iPhone, as well as iCal on iPhone. Duplicate alarms started occurring on the phone (PI and iCal). I then attempted to delete all events from the iCal on the computer. One calendar remains, one that I subscribed to from Yahoo Sports. I have tried everything to delete this calendar, but it seems impossible. After I sync the phone, the subscribed calendar shows up as well as birthdays and one calendar from my Google Calendar, on my phone.
So, the issues, and what I would eventually like to see:
1. I would like all events cleared from iCal on computer (currently just subscribed calendar that will not delete)
2. I would like to delete all events from calendar on phone (subscribed calendar, birthdays, and one calendar from Google) *I cannot even delete these events by hand on my phone.
3. In the end I would like to just continue to sync Outlook with Google which syncs with PI and then do nothing with iCal (on phone and computer) *Well really I would like events from Google synced with iCal on computer, but this doesn't seem feasible so I would settle with not using it at all.
The only thing I can think of to do at this point is to delete iCal, but I am not even sure this would correct the calendar issue on my phone as I am unable to delete that and the sync does not seem to be working correctly.
Any help on this would be much appreciated!

The edit feature was working correctly with the calendars and stopped. Performed a sync through iTunes removing syncing preferences first. Did not resolve the issue. I am considering restoring the iphone.
