Lost Calendar in my PC, still on Blackberry but won't take it from the BB during sync

Can someone please help me out here. I use two PC's work and home and have hundreds of appointments scheduled for the rest of this year. They are gone from my PC but still in my BB. When I synch it acts like they don't exist in the BB. I have: uninstalled the device manager and then reinstalled it on my PC's. I have read through many posts here and can't find the same problem or a fix. I really depend on my calendars for scheduling. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi and welcome to the forums!
First immediately get a good backup of the Blackberry.
Go to calendar options and post (without using your real email address) the number and names of the calendars
you have listed. Also click on each and scroll to number of entries, post how many if any in each.

The battery is possibly unable to take as much power as a normal battery. It may need a replacement battery.

Most likely you have Office 2004 which are PPC-only applications and will not work in Lion. Upgrade to Office 2011. Other alternatives are:
Apple's iWork suite (Pages, Numbers, and Keynote.)
Open Office (Office 2007-like suite compatible with OS X.)
NeoOffice (similar to Open Office.)
LibreOffice (a new direction for the Open Office suite.)

My Blackberry 8520 won't let me download the App World

Hi,
I recently got my Blackberry 8520 unlocked to all networks. As I turned it on, the BlackBerry App World was gone as were a few other things and my BlackBerry Messenger was not working properly. I could not recieve messages or send them. I installed the BlackBerry User Tools disk on my laptop and re-installed a few things but they still would not work and the icons were not there. I also tried to download them off the internet on my BlackBerry and it went as far as the language selection and then when I clicked select language, my phone brought me to the BlackBerry logo and just stayed there and nothing happened.
Can anyone tell me why this is and what I can do please?

Nice catch on the diagnostic option change!
I always run the advanced display, its always better to have as much detailed information as possible when you are troubleshooting a problem.
What you described is not the Blackberry Infrastructure section referred to in the article. The first part of the test under Wi-Fi contains the options you mention. These results refers to your device negotiating and connecting to your home router only.
Shrink the results by clicking the first two categories of the test. The Blackberry Infrastructure is the last category. Here are my test results for reference and the options in blue.

I had my computer fixed and know I cannot update on it as it was before I had it fixed. The guy said he saved this file for me but I cannot retrieve it from the computer. What can I do? I have lost all my music, not my photo's but the list I had itunes.

I had my pc computer reepaired and the guy saved my iphone information on it. However, I cannot fiind it. The operating system is windows 7, there are two folders that should have this information on them but I cannot find it anywhere. I lost my library of music for my iphone after I updated it this new software from apple. Can I get my list or have I truley lost it completely? If anyone has an anwer to this question, please free to explain it to me. I am pretty good about how to find this stuff, but this time I am clueless.

Your music will be where you put it.
It has always been very basic to always maintain a abckup copy of your computer.
If you have failed to do this then you can redownload some itunes purchases in some countries.

Sounds like the music you had on your phone was not the same music on his computer. The iPhone/iPod touch is not designed to be a storage device. When you sync with a computer that doesn't have your music, it deletes your music from your phone.
Was this music you purchased from iTunes? if so, and you are in the US, tap on itunes app, tap updates, tap purchased and tap on the cloud icon to get each song back. If you're not int he us, get iOS5 update later this week and do the same.
But you need to move your itunes library to his computer. Create a user account on his macbook pro for you. From your external drive backup, load your itunes library on it. Then sync as usual! (Don't tell me you don't have a backup for your computer!)

I still can't erase an incorrect user name from the password file.

I have been using a web site for a long time. Suddenly the user name that is supposed to be stored in my "password/user name" file is not working. I totally deleted the web site from that folder. When I go to log in, it still automatically comes up with an incorrect user name.
Example:
The correct user name is "[email protected]", but Firefox is coming up with "ab%49gmail.com"
All of this even though when I went to the Security tab and have deleted the web site from the file, completely, Firefox still brings up the wrong user name when I go to log in.

I updated Firefox to 32.0.2 and lost all passwords. Oddly still have all bookmarks. How can I recover the old passwords?

The title sums it up, if there's more information I need to provide please let me know. Currently when I look up passwords using the password manager in tools, options, security, show passwords it is empty. Hoping there's a way to restore all of the old passwords.

Your System Details list shows that you have a user.js file in the profile folder to initialize prefs each time Firefox starts.
The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.
You can check its content with a plain text editor (right-click: Open with) if you didn't create this file yourself.
The user.js file is read each time Firefox is started and initializes preferences to the value specified in this file, so preferences set via user.js can only be changed temporarily for the current session.
You can delete possible user.js and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release.

You should never update without importing your photos as you would with any digital camera.
The pics are very likely gone.

If you don't want to do this, then you will have to live with those sync pics on yoru phone.

My iPhone 3G has suddenly lost vibration and sound/ringtones(also does not change aspect when tilted). An incoming phone call can be answered but no sound is heard from the speakers9even though the caller can hear what I am saying). Any ideas?

My 3G iPhone has suddenly lost all sound and vibration, it has also lost the "tilt" capability on-screen. An incoming call is registered without a sound, however, the caller can hear everything being said by me(whilst I hear nothing at all from his/her call).
Any suggestions??

I thought I had found the offending 'app' namely "Songpop."
I regularly use "Songpop" on my phone late at night via my wifi connection.
All enteries on my phonebill are at midnight (even though I have a data allowance it was excluded from allowance). I switched 3G off on Friday, played "Songpop" at midnight and at the exact time I got a "Server Error" message.
I posted a message on the "Songpop" support forum.At first they said this was a problem relating to my ISP.
I have spoken to my ISP and asked if there are connection drops at the time I have been billed (ie to establish if my wifi dropped and 3G kicked in without my knowledge) and have been advised that there aren't any connection drops at that time.

Delegate/Calendar Editor room bookings - Owner to update but cannot as Delegate/Editor is the Author

I have read that Microsoft were looking for a fix for this back in 2002, did they ever sort it?
I create invites for various members of my Team, they then can't update anything in the invite for an update to all (even adding extra narrative), as when they select update all, the room/resource throws out the update as it doesn't recognise them
as the Author, even though the invite was created from their calendar from 'me on behalf of'.
Very frustrating.........

According to your post, I notice that the inviter cannot update meeting even though delegate Editor or Author permission for him.
If I misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.
I want to double confirm whether you modify the meeting in your own calendar or in organizer‘s calendar.

I have a 13in MacBook Pro from mid 2010, the hard drive failed or s i thought, I put a new one in and it didn't work, so I put those 2 hard drives in a friends Mac and they worked just fine. The Mac still turns on but won't discover the drive

Why cant i (still) immediately share a picture after taking one from the lock screen camera?

i put the question here because the ios section is only for specific apps... sorry.
seems a bit maddening that we are given such quick access to take a picture, but then have to open up either the photo app or whatever app we want to share the photo/video with. makes taking a pic .3 seconds quicker kinda frivilous.

That is a new one. I haven't seen that before. You might have a hardware problem. Also may want to try to restore the phone and see if that fixes the problem. Also have you restarted the phone by holding the home button and the sleep/wake switch ignoring the swipe to power off message and then powering up the phone again?
