Lost call on 7920

Hi,
this is the situation in our deployment:
a 7920 phone is configured with line xxxx. Same line xxxx is shared on 7940 phone.
Sometimes a call, routed to line xxxx, ring on 7940 but the 7920 is not alerted at all. So we have only a missed call signaling on 7940 and the call is lost. The 7920 is always in roaming...

For 7920, would ensure you are using 3.02.
Also for AP not sure if you are using autonomous or lightweight controller.
If lightweight controller and pre-4.0.217.0, was an issue where 7920 connection to CallManager could get reset as the packets could get aged out within a 1 second period.
The workaround was to set the 802.1p tag for platinum to 7 vs 6. Would suggest to upgrade if possible though.
Also the 7920 sleeps every 2 seconds and doesn't use DTIM to check for queued packets, so could potentially be up to a 2 second delay. Would need to ensure proxy ARP is enabled on the AP with the 7920.

LG Cosmos 2 - Lost call issues

Hello I have had my LG Cosmos 2 a little over a month. I have had many many lost calls recently. The call will only last at most 1 minute. It does not appear to be electronic interference as the phone has had 2 or more bars for reception each time the issue has happened. I have tried powering off, and removing the battery, then powering back up, this did not help. I am not sure what else to try. The phone has not been damaged in any way by myself, not dropped. Any other users having this type of issue? Any advise on how to reduce/eliminate the issue?

The best way to eliminate the issue is to get a different model phone. This phone is AWFUL. My first one the keys didn't respond correctly on the front number pad or the QWERTY keyboard. The replacement phone for that one lagged and after a month or so the microphone went out so no one could hear me speak. The replacement phone for that one is the current one I have. It responds VERY slow if I have any text messages or photos saved in it, I lose calls unexpectedly like you're experiencing - I will be on a call and suddenly I hear beeping and my screen says "Call Lost" even if the person I'm talking to and I have good reception, and 2 of the keys on the QWERTY keyboard invert when I use any website or social media. Specifically, when I try to type !, what shows up is ~, and when I try to type up ~, what shows up is !. I could call and go through the reset - again - but the reset will delete all the texts and pictures I have on there, and of course it will speed up when there's nothing on the phone. But on my third phone with issue after issue, I'm just waiting and waiting for my upgrade to come due again and I can get a phone that can handle what it's made for.
You could try pulling the battery while it is still powered on to perform a soft reset. If it still has the same problem you could try calling Verizon tech support from a different phone so they'll be able to walk you through reset steps on your phone. They'll walk through the reset with you, it will wipe everything from your phone and you'll be instructed to call back if it happens again. Then, when it does happen again, you'll call back, and they'll open a trouble ticket and instruct you to wait 2 weeks to hear back, during which time they'll find nothing wrong, or something wrong that they'll fix, but your phone will still act the same, THEN they'll offer you a refurbished (read: sent back for problems that were "fixed") replacement of the same model. And if you're lucky, the refurbished phone will have a new set of problems. I spent a year in Verizon tech support, and I knew better than to get a slider phone since they always have problems, but I was still foolish enough to get one. There's not much you can do, slider phones in general are flawed.

IOS 5.0.1 lost Call ID

Hi guys,
After I upgraded my IP4 to IOS 5.0.1, I lost call ID on some cases:
Calls - does not recognizes contact's phone numbers recorded with the international format;
SMS - does not recognizes contact's phone numbers recorded WITHOUT the international format.
Any ideas on how to solve this?

I'm having the same issue, since the 5.1 update. Apple has even gone as far as replacing my phone with a brand new one because it's like I'm experiencing hardware issues but I'm not. Apple did a diagnostics today on my phone, said everything was fine and I had to go to my Carrier which I did and they of course said nothing wrong. I'm not to sure how to escalate the problem to apple to look at the 5.1 software but I believe its a error with the software update

These options should be under Settings > Phone.
If you don't see them there, you should contact your cellular carrier.

SINCE i UPGRADED TO 0S4 the lost calles and the history `s calle faild

Does anybody has problems with the lost and history calles ? Since i made the upgrade i have no data about the calles that i make or recieve or the ones that i lost.
If anybody know how to fix this, i ´ll be very thankfull.

No i don`t loose the music neither the photos.
i only don`t have anymore the history of the lost calles and the recent calles.
i recieved a lot of calles, but they don`t appear anymore as "In" calles or "out" calles or "lost" calles.
How can i fix that. I also restored the iphone and they still do not appear.
All you guys have no problem. For example if you recieve a call, It appear on the history the caller id and the time you recieve that call. i had those datas in the past, but since i upgrade, now is not working anymore

Only two calls on 7920 phone

I configured the maximum of calls to 4 and the busy trigger to 4 on the callmanager for the 7920 phone.
Now, the problem is when two calls are activ on the 7920 phone, it is not possible to tranfer one of the calls to a internal number. The phone shows the message that the internal number is busy.
Why only two calls can be handled on my 7920 phone?

try to configure a second line on the 7920. it can have up to 6 multiline appearance-extensions or speed dials. set the maxCall/busyTrigg and try the xfer again.

I upgraded to 6.1.3 and nowadays my iPhone 5 16gb lost phone calls. Sometimes immediately, sometimes after a quarter of an hour. Please help me why?!

Focus lost called multiple time

I have created a simple search panel containing a JFormattedTextField
and a button next to it .
Now if focus is in JFormattedTextField and user press TAB , focus lost method is called and i have to validate the values , which is very straight forward .
This focus lost method is being called only <b>once</b> on fedora linux , but is being called <b>thrice</b> on Windows XP .
Any lead please ?

Two suggestions:
1. Use an InputVerifier instead

2. If you insist on taking the FocusListener route, maybe you can check the isTemporary() flag on the FocusEvent? I'm guessing two of the three focus lost events will have isTemporary() == true (but I could very well be wrong).

Lost Call History

I have a user who lost his call history. Does anyone know what log file/message will show if a user "clears" the history? I suspect it is being cleared by mistake.

Each of the missed/received/placed calls directories can hold a maximum of the 32 most recent entries. Calls made beyond that, and they drop the oldest records. They are not aged out, and don't clear with EM login/logout or a soft reset. But a power reset or Clear softkey will clear them.

Lost calls

I live out in the country about 4 miles from the nearest cell tower. The range of the cell service is just about my house so I have allot of lost/dropped calls. I bought a $300 antenna system from Radio Shack last year that was supposed to bump up my service but I really don't notice much difference. I still have dropped calls. My phone is a Samsung Reality type. Is there a better phone or another way of extending my service area so that I can make calls from other locations in my house? Basically I have to stand in the dining room to make calls and even there, I drop some after a few minutes. Frustrated.

You could try a network extender from Verizon, but that will be another big cost.

When I receive a call and don't answer it, my iphone 4 , after some short time, stuck's, and I got some screen asking me to send a SMS back or cancel...but both bottoms don't work. My phone freeze and to get it back I must have to turn it off or made a reset (pw +hm).
I have two friend with this same problem. My iphone came from USA but now I am in Brazil.

I am back to same  problems I had 5 ,6 months ago.
McAffee Antivirus again told me I was Protected even   though McAFee's Certificate is EXPIRED,,also I was still covered when I went to uninstall it, but I went ahead anyway with the uninstall. How can I trust a program,when their own certificate is expired? I sure do not want it running on my pc.  .The Windows Defender would not start!!.
From everything I have seen and experienced for the last 6 months.It is not HP. but Windows 8.1 or Microsoft.
I literally have been screaming for so long,my blood pressure stays sky high. . Not a day goes by that I actually enjoy my time on line!

By the way ,I am not an authority by no means but have previously had computers, H.P was my very first ,I do not remember the version but I knew nothing and rarely ever had any problems. I sure miss it,   This version is a Nightmare.!

Lost caller ID

Caller ID no longer visible on TV. It was working before the storm. I tried resetting it and waiting the 24-48 hours but it still is not working.
Any ideas?

I believe I have resolved the "No Caller ID" problem.
Even though the Settings show Caller ID to be turned on on my TV it did not show. I tried several things that didn't help but this last thing did return the Caller ID notification to my TV.
I went to settings and TURNED OFF the caller ID. Left it off over night. Then this morning I went back to settings and turned it ON again. Later in the day when I got a call it did show the caller ID. So, I believe the last effort caused it to work
Looks like a case of program "flags" getting out of step with other parts of the program. I've seen this happen in other places and the same "fix" worked.

This morning I lost call functionality on my white...

I could not hear the people I called, and they could not hear me, even though we had a connection. (My mute was not on and my volume was up.)
I brought my phone the the Microsoft Store and they verified the problem and replaced the phone for me.
Has anyone else had the same problem?

Lost Call log history

My both phones (Z30 & Q10) were upgraded automaticly through wireless wifi to the new os 10.3 and after restart i shocked that my call log history became limited to one week. i tried to search for the old recoreds through the hub but its also resized of the call logs I need my call log back to me as im using the phones for business and relying on my log most of time. If its not possible to retreives the log back on os 10.3 how can i downgrade to 10.2 ?? Thanks

After searching the forums for any solution, the only response i found is to wait for the next update which may solve this issue of call log history. about downgrading the os from 10.3 to 10.2, process can be done through out store apps which will not restor the entire call log history unless you have the old bachup. thanks

Lost calls from the call log

I have had a E90 now for more then a year and have been very happy with the phone/gps/camera oh whatever you want to call it except for 1 thing.
It seems like the call logs clean themselves out. Initially I was told that it was a problem with the firmware but they have updated the firmware and I still have the problem. As it is if somebody calls me I maybe able to see the number in the incoming call log for a day or maybe 2 or sometime only an hour. I always thought that the outgoing log would store the last 20 dialed numbers and the last 10 incoming and missed calls but not on mine. If I call many numbers in a single day I may see up to 7 and in the receive log as much as 4 but then for no reason I would suddenly have an empty set of logs.
Any idea how to fix that? I am on the latest firmware that shipped in Sept 2008.

Yes, on the device select the number you want to add, then in the bottom left on your key board press the menu button. Then tap on add contact and you should get a pop up to add the phone number to a contact as a new, add to existing, or cancel.
