Lost contact in maverick upgrade, how do i get them back on my mac

I lost my contacts in marverick upgrade, how do I find them and migrate them back? I can't get them back through icloud either

I guess I have a bigger problem with contacts. I can find a vcard on the drive, I right click and say to open in contacts and it won't even open the contacts. It won't allow me to import (that option is grayed)
When I open the contact app is only has this:
<null> (0 cards)
at the bottom I have the + but it doesn't allow me to add anything.
It will not allow me to export a vcard
I go to edit template and THINK I am making changing but nothing happens. It is like the program got corrupted? Is that possible? I can't get anything to come down from the cloud, I can't import from my exchange server, I can't get anything from google or any account

I've lost mine, too. However, I've found that they're all there if I go in via the phone. The contacts app just shows "no contacts". When searching from other apps (such as Reminders), it doesn't find anything, but spotlight finds them.

I tried syncing to the compluter on itunes and that didn't help, and I tried calling AT&T and that didn't help. They said to make an appt. with Apple and hopefully they could help. There are no contacts on or in iTunes. iTunes does not store contacts. iTunes can serve as the sync conduit to sync contacts between your iPhone and a supported address book app on your computer. This is selected under the Info tab for your iPhone sync preferences with iTunes.
Certainly you don't depend on an iPhone or any cell phone alone for such important data which can be lost or stolen, damaged beyond repair, or there can be a hardware or software problem preventing access to the contacts.

Did you backup the iPad first? If you did - restore from the backup in order to restore the photos in the Saved Album on your iPad. If the photos were synced to the iPad, then sync them back again via iTunes.

If you did backup first, you will be restoring your most recent backup and you should be OK. But know that when you restore from a backup, you restore everything that is in that backup onto the iPad .... All documents, device settings, all data and so on. You cannot just select photos to restore to the iPad. It's all or nothing.

All apps should be in your iTunes library along with all other iTunes content that was on the iPhone.
Contacts are designed to be synced with a supported address book app on your computer.
Notes can be synced with a supported app on your computer as well.
Contacts and notes are included with your iPhone's backup but not any iTunes content which should be in your iTunes library on your computer. Your iPhone's backup should have been updated as the first step during the update process. If the backup was not restored, try restoring your iPhone with iTunes from that backup.

If you were not syncing and backing up your phone to either iTunes or iCloud, then they are gone. There is no "undo".

Thank you for your question, and I am sorry to hear that you lost your bookmarks. In order to check if they are still there you can look in the profile folder on the computer [[Use the Profile Manager to create and remove Firefox profiles]]
As for syncing from the android, it is possible to add the account to the desktop and the two should merge.

You will need to restore them from your backup. If you did not make a backup, then you may be out of luck since audiobooks are one of the few items for which redownloading is not possible, but you can contact the iTunes Store, explain the problem, and ask:
