Lost Data Minor problem data 3 ?

I Have acidently erased and installed osx 10.4 on myt audio hardisk !
I have tried nerly every type of data rescuing program on osx and p.c but the files have come back as .mpg and when I change the extentions and try to open then up in logic 7.1.1 it just doest make it ! Does any one have any experience with this type of situation as such ? And if so what can be or not be done . I have about 3 months of very hard work into the disk And going crazy to fix this up but not getting anywhere:(
And I always get this mesage minor problem in data 3?
What is this ?

Hi Prakash,
When you load data from R/3 through any infopackage the Job name is automatically taken starting with "BI". This means this a BI job running in R/3 for the ease of the understanding the processes for ourselves.
But when the Job which has been in scheduled status, which you have started, it has taken this as per the R/3 job as you have released the Job from R/3.
This might be the reasons where your Job description or name is different.
It's not the issue or problem with system. If you are getting a wrong data or not loading the data then you have to check the Job log for that particular job.
Or the another chance of the wrong job name, may be, you have released another job which is not related to BI.
Please check whether you have released the Right Job pertaining to BI.

• XControl Data wiring problem - Data type is Waveform Graph (Strict)

Hi,
I created an Xcontrol for a waveform graph. The datatype (under Data 1.ctl) is a WaveformGraph reference type.
When I wire a Waveform graph reference to the Xcontrol (as an indicator), there is a wire conflict.
I checked the strict definition and the reference types are theoretically congruent but I cannot seem to wire it together. Any solutions?
Please see the attached code.
Thanks!

GraphDisplay XControl.7z ‏1717 KB
Tester.vi ‏15 KB

It looks like the XControl data is a waveform reference (strict). I can't open the XControl though, because I don't have a 7z compiler, but the problem is probably that the refnum will only take in a reference to an exact waveform graph because it's strict.
You can create a non-strict reference and use that for your data by:
Open your data control FP
Press Ctrl-Space
Type "Control Refnum"
Press Enter and place that on front panel
Right click it and brows to the correct data type:

• How to recover data from an external hard drive that has lost half of the data I was storing in it

I am using a Lacie external hard drive to store my photos on. Every once in awhile it disappears from my screen. I have been able to bring it back by unplugging and re-plugging from the computer. Then I had to turn it off and on again. Finally, it lost about half the stored photos, and I couldn't recover them. Does anybody have any suggestions as to what I might do to fix this problem?
I'm using an iMac with iOS 10.6.8
The hard drive has 1 TB capacity

• Date display problems

Hello,
I have notice some date display problems with browsers when visiting a Podcast page :
https://itunes.apple.com/fr/podcast/euronews-no-comment/id193275779
For exemples :
8/45/13
8/32/13
4/49/13
Date problems available on other podcasts :
https://itunes.apple.com/fr/podcast/arret-sur-images-les-podcasts/id289722236?mt =2
https://itunes.apple.com/fr/podcast/telezapping/id206252481?mt=2
https://itunes.apple.com/fr/podcast/france-3-19-20-paris-ile-france/id285421036? mt=2
Theses problems don't exist on iTunes.
Who can fix it ?

I checked three of them and see the same peculiarity. Only the web page version of the Store page has the errors. The first podcast you list has a minor error in the 'iTunes declaration' but I wouldn't have expected it to affect the pubDate tag. The second doesn't give the day in that tag, and the third appears to be OK.
I can only guess that it's a glitch of some sort in the Store software used to generate the web page. Only Apple can fix it. You could try the 'report a problem' link in the Store page in iTunes though I don't know how much notice they will take.

• Data load problem - BW and Source System on the same AS

Hi experts,
I’m starting with BW (7.0) in a sandbox environment where BW and the source system are installed on the same server (same AS). The source system is the SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) 5.0.
BW is working on client 001 while SRM is on client 100 and I want to load data from the SRM into BW.
I’ve configured the RFC connections and the BWREMOTE users with their corresponding profiles in both clients, added a SAP source system (named SRMCLNT100), installed SRM Business Content, replicated the data sources from this source system and everything worked fine.
Now I want to load data from SRM (client 100) into BW (client 001) using standard data sources and extractors. To do this, I’ve created an InfoPackage in one standard metadata data source (with data, checked through RSA3 on client 100 – source system). I’ve started the data load process, but the monitor says that “no Idocs arrived from the source system” and keeps the status yellow forever.

I didn't see any reason why it's not bringing. Are you doing full extraction or Delta. If delta extraction please check the extractor is delta enabled or not. Some times this may cause problems.
Also check this weblog on data Load errors basic checks. it may help

• Problem while data processing TRANSACTION data from DSO to CUBE

Hi Guru's,
we are facing problem while data processing TRANSACTION data from DSO to CUBE. data packets processing very slowly and updating .Please help me regarding this.
Thanks and regards,
Sridhar

Hi,
I will suggest you to check a few places where you can see the status
1) SM37 job log (give BIrequest name) and it should give you the details about the request. If its active make sure that the job log is getting updated at frequent intervals.
2) SM66 get the job details (server name PID etc from SM37) and see in SM66 if the job is running or not. See if its accessing/updating some tables or is not doing anything at all.
If its running and if you are able to see it active in SM66 you can wait for some time to let it finish.
3) RSMO see what is available in details tab. It may be in update rules.
4) ST22 check if any short dump has occured.
You can also try SM50 / SM51 to see what is happening in the system level like reading/inserting tables etc.
If you feel its active and running you can verify by checking if the number of records has increased in the cube.
Thanks,
JituK

• XML Publisher to Excel Report : Date format problem

Hi,
I am trying to create an Excel report with XML Publisher. I have an issue with the Date Fomatting.
In the XML template, I have set the "Date" column in date format. But the excel output report "Date" column returns as "General text" (string) and it is sorted as text, not as date.
Can anyone please help me out?
Thanks!!!

Hi,
Did this post solve your problem? I have the same issue that I need to solve.
I have an xsl-fo template with dates in it.
The dates are in english.
My excel is setup to use danish.
When I export to excel it knows the month jan, feb, mar, apr, ... which are the same in danish and english.
But months where it differs like may (danish maj) the cell is a general text instead of date.
Is there anyway you can set/transform the date in the xsl-fo template so it does not care about the language in excel?
Thank you in advance.
BR Kenneth

• Open data set problem with binary mode

Hi everyone,
I am trying to read into a buffer the content of a binary file (like Excel) and to write that content file using open data set into a folder destination.
The file destination has a size diferent than from the original one and cannot be open.
Here is the code.
DATA: lv_file_name(100),
lt_content LIKE sdokcntbin OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE.
MOVE '\computerTestA1.xls' TO lv_file_name.
OPEN DATASET lv_file_name FOR INPUT IN BINARY MODE.
IF sy-subrc NE 0.
EXIT.
ENDIF.
DO.
READ DATASET lv_file_name INTO lt_content-line.

Hi,
I solve the problem.
In fact, when I try to write the last line of lt_content, it does write all the line even if this line is not full of data.
Solution :
DATA: lv_file_name(100),
lt_content LIKE sdokcntbin OCCURS 0 WITH HEADER LINE,
alen TYPE i,
pos TYPE i.
MOVE '\mr0221TestA1.xls' TO lv_file_name.
OPEN DATASET lv_file_name FOR INPUT IN BINARY MODE.
IF sy-subrc NE 0.
EXIT.
ENDIF.
SET DATASET lv_file_name POSITION END OF FILE.
GET DATASET lv_file_name POSITION pos.
SET DATASET lv_file_name POSITION 0.
DO.
CLEAR lt_content.
READ DATASET lv_file_name INTO lt_content-line ACTUAL LENGTH alen .
IF sy-subrc NE 0.
APPEND lt_content.
EXIT.
ENDIF.
APPEND lt_content.
ENDDO.
CLOSE DATASET lv_file_name.
* DELETE DATASET lv_file_name.
CLEAR: lv_file_name.
MOVE '\mr0221TestB2.xls' TO lv_file_name.
OPEN DATASET lv_file_name FOR OUTPUT IN BINARY MODE.
IF sy-subrc NE 0.
EXIT.
ENDIF.
LOOP AT lt_content.
AT LAST.
TRANSFER lt_content-line TO lv_file_name LENGTH alen.
EXIT.
ENDAT.
TRANSFER lt_content-line TO lv_file_name.
ENDLOOP.
CLOSE DATASET lv_file_name.
Thanks.

• HELP - I've lost all my Calendar data, most of my Notes, and other issues

In priority order:
1. Sometime in the last two days my iPhone 4S, with IOS 7.0.4, lost all my Calendar data except birthdays from Contacts.
2. Most of my Notes are lost except those from PC.
WRT the above, iPad data is still intact.
3. IOS 7.0.4 crashes apps A LOT! Even Apple apps.
4. IOS 7.0.4 is slow.

Resolved items 1 & 2 by rebooting the phone. I am happy that it resolved, but it shouldn't have happened n the first place.

Music Rescue also works as far as restoring your playlists etc. I've used it twice, you can use the Quick Recover mode, but have to click continue trial (something like that) allot, cp. to purchase option. Otherwise diesel is right as far as restoring via your purchase history.

• HI, Idid a up grade of my osx mauntain lion and it cancelled all my document, bookmarks and mailboxes it is normal? I have lost a lot of data bacons of it because i did not do the back up of all my files just the back up of my photos. . .what can i do

HI,
Since a while I have received from apple the warning for an up grade for my Os x Mountain Lion and finally I decider to do it. . . . and since it was just an up grade I DIDN'T DO A BACK UP of all the content of my book pro because I thought it wasn't necessary . . . .but when I did it . . . . .it cancelled me all my files in documents, most of all my mail boxes in mail and most of my bookmarks in safari.
I do not understand why; since i did not change my os but just did an up grade of my existing one. . . . . .result I lost a lot of data and I do not know what to do.
Is this normal that it cancelled data in my documents folders and in others parts of my mac pro ?? ? ? . . . .ad if it is so why don't you write a warning saying that before going through with a simple up grade of your OS of your computer everybody should do a back up of everything it has in it ?!?!?!
Buongiorno,
. . .ma dope averlo fat to l'up grade ho realizzato che il procedimento mi aveva cancellato tutti i file contenuti nei midi document, le mailbox che avevo create in mail e i bookmarks che avevo create in safari . . . . .

What happened isn't normal, but does demonstrate why you need a backup, preferably two.

HI Mahesh,
<TRANSACTION_RECEIPT_DATE>07-Apr-09</TRANSACTION_RECEIPT_DATE>
this is not a date,
so you should change the query to get you the format in xsd format : YYYY-MM-DDThh:mm:ss+HH:MM
otherwise, you have to write a custom sort function to decode and order it it.
if you dont do the custom order and use
<?sort:TRANSACTION_RECEIPT_DATE;'ascending';data-type='date'?>
the data will be treated as string and you will see the row is sorted on string.

• Date popup problem in APEX 3.1

Hi
I have a date picker (DD-MM-YYYY HH24:MI) and after upgrading to APEX 3.1 from APEX 3.0.1 the popup window height is too small.
The end user is having to resize the window to click on the OK button.
Is there a file I can edit to increase the height, couldnt find it in templates/themes.
Regards
Adam

Hi Adam,
This is a bug in APEX 3.1. It was discussed here:
Apex 3.1 Upgrade Issue - dba_lock and date picker display
and here:
Date Picker problem in Apex 3.1
I'll let Carl investigate and provide an official response and recommendation. Although I know where this problem is occurring.
The size of the popup calendar window is hard-wired in the file apex/images/javascript/apex_3_1.js. In APEX 3.0, the size of the popup window was determined programatically at runtime and was a function of the date format, if it included a time component or not.
The uncompressed, readable version of this same file is in apex/images/javascript/uncompressed/apex_3_1.js. Look for p_DatePicker and you'll see what I'm talking about. You'll see the height is hard-wired to 210 and width to 258. In APEX 3.0, the height was set to 255 if the date format contained a time component.
So my suggestion, until Carl provides an official response, is to look for '210' in apex/images/javascript/apex_3_1.js and change this to 255. Granted, all calendar popup windows will be this big, but it won't put as great a burden on the end-user.
I hope this helps.
Joel
