Lost domain control

If it's a trademark or registered company name then you might be able to use the IANA Uniform Domain-Name Dispute-Resolution Policy but if your company simply failed to renew it and then it became available and someone else purchased it then it's likely they get to keep it if they want to.  Of course without the domain name our answers are way less helpful than they would be if we could check and see when the transfer actually occurred and who really owns and controls it. If it was taken by improper means you might get it back, otherwise pick a new one and switch and put appropriate procedures in place to ensure this can't happen again. Or make the current owner of it an offer they can't refuse.

    The printer is printing when asked to do so by a computer but the display says:
    Error
    Communication lost (device <->  control panel); Turn off then on.
    The orange attention light is illuminated and the display is always lit and shows the statement above.
    It does not improve when switched off and on or power disconnected for long periods or pushing reset button at rear of unit.
    Embedded web server works normally and thinks that all is ok.
    Buttons on control panel do nothing.  eg. I cannot photocopy or scan.
    The printer is about 2 years old but gets very light use in a family home.

    I come here because I've a probleme since some months.
    I've lost the control of my apple, so I lost my gamecenter, my purchases, my apps, my mail account, etc.
    I created a new for the moment, but I would really like to retrieve old.
    But when I wan't to use Apple ID iForgot, I'm really scared because I realize that my date of birth has been changed, and I can guess the same thing for my personal questions...
    If I use the service "reset your apple id by mail", i don't receive any mail on my mail account that I had set. So I guess that my mail account for backup/rescue is changed.
    So I would like to contact Apple and explain my problem. Is it possible to provide some infos like the serial number of some devices I used with this account ?
    For example I can give the S/N of 2 iphone 5, one iphone 5s, a Macbookpro, and iPad 2
    Or give some invoice of purchases ? (if I can find them...)

    You're running an old version of Safari. Before troubleshooting, try updating it to the latest version: 6.0. You can do this by clicking the Apple logo in the top left, then clicking Software update.
    You can also update to the latest version of OS X, 10.8 Mountain Lion, from the Mac App Store for $19.99, which will automatically install Safari 6 as well, but this isn't essential, only reccomended.

    That is pretty ominous sounding, can you give a few more details, such as can you login, can you start and stop applications, can you control the cursor?  Have you tried a restart of the computer to see if that termiantes an errant application?  If that doesn't help, try restarting the computer using the system install disk that came with the computer while holding the C key so you boot from the DVD.  Does the machine bahave running on that version of the operating system?

    The earphones must be pushed very hard into the iPod. So hard, that the white part of the plug must touch the iPod in order for the external speakers to turn off. You will hear a click.
    If you do a forum search, you will find this same solution. If it does not work, you will need to take your iPod to an apple store or call the Apple iPod tech support if still under warranty or you have Apple Care.

    No it wont be supported by SAP, on a domain controller you can not use local users and groups so the local admin groups would be screwed!!
    I'm trying to find a SAP note that says this to pass onto IT, anyone know of one?

    i'm hoping somone here can help. i've lost complete control over my music volume and certain apps just keep opening at random. It started on the way into work, smart connect seemed to keep trying to open and i heard a womans voice talking over my music, it was the instructions on how to use smart connect.
    Since then i've had my music go loud, then all the way to silent and vice versa. it's extremely frustrating. i've disabled Smart Connect entirely and now when i start music playing, my screen won't lock at all. At one point i somehow even opened the Xperia version of siri by accident.
    No idea whats going on, any advice?
    i'm very close to just factory resetting the entire thing.  i'm running the latest version of Android and all my apps are up to date

    That's quite odd, I'd do a Phone repair via PC Companion or Mac Bridge better than factory resetting it.

    I have a database in archive log mode and we take a rman hot backup everyday. We are not using the recovery catalog. I lost all the control files
    few days ago. I have a control file to trace and that was generated 20 days ago. This is our test database. I want to recover it. I don't know if we have
    done any physical changes or not after the creation of this text file to create a control file. Database is still up and running.

    If the control is restored from the rman backup lets say it is 3 days old, then how to update the same control file with the current database statistics.

  • AE lost my control plus, minus and reduce in Top RH corner? Tech Help!

    I have a strange thing going on. I could swear there used to be the standard Browser control of  - + and reduce box in the Top RH corner like in any window and every other adobe product. However, I got a virus it was hiding in Adobe reader. I believe I cleaned it as I scanned with two different virus companies. Both came up nothing found. Cleared my Temp folder, dumped trash after un installing AE. Re installed AE and still no window control?
    Plus in my system start tray where my programs are where Adobe Master Collection Folder is I open that an my AE icon is a generic icon, although it will work as a shortcut.
    The other thing is that it  is evident in my task bar as a 'pinned icon' Here is a screen shot of AE with no + or - in top corner...

    I also lost Adobe Reader as I had to uninstall as that was the Trojan file home. I stuck the disc in but did not see the icon to re-install.

  • Lost audio control due to usb speakers

    after connecting a CharWise C5 Laptop Cooling Pad with Speakers (Mukii INC.) I lost control over audio in my macbook pro. and some programs have no sound. the audio Icon is grayed and when I press the audio control buttons on my keyboard I get gray icon with the disabled sign on it.
    I tried going to the preferences and select the internal speakers, it doesn't help.
    also when I connect my headphoes and press the volume control I get the same disabled icon.
    but I can hear sound in several programs like Adobe applications and vlc player. I get no sound at all in quicktime, iTunes doesn't play music and I can't hear sound from internet browsing.
    the Macbook Pro is 3 months old. but I have no time to take it to the store as I need it to work.
    Last time I updated my software through the App Store I got my audio control back after restart, next time I restarted I lost it again...
    I'm using OS X Mountain Lion - updated.
    How do I fix this?
    how do I remove the drivers of the usb speakers?

    If you're really really stuck you could connect it to the PC via the headphone socket to the line-in socket on the PC, then record the output.

    Hi, my E71 has lost the volume control I was on a plane to LA and had no use of the MP3 player. I re-set the phone and it wasn't repaired.
    Looks like the firm ware has lost this and as neither an update or a re-load option available not sure what to do.
    Also how do you get the music play to update the libiray as I have deleted the music and it still shows? any ideas would be helpful.

    Hi an update in trying different things the volume control worked when I removed the SD card hence I have now re-formated the card and all working.

    Just change the check after the Lexical Class function.  If you just want numbers and letters, then use the In Range & Coerce function to check for class numbers 3 through 5.  Play around with the logic some more until you get what you need (I'm thinking that AND should be an OR).

    Firstly please update the driver and in addition you can try below registry workaround.
    To do this, change the value of the following registry subkeys to 3 (Manual) or 4 (Disabled)：
    •HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\cdrom
    Name: Start 
    Type : REG_DWORD 
    Data: 3 or 4
    •HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\parport
