LOST episode lost

I had purchased an episode of Lost on my itunes but was unable to finish the download and had to shut down my laptop. I just assumed that when I got on again I would be given the option to complete install since in the past I was able to with podcasts. The option to do so is nowhere. I went to items purchased and it is not there, neither is it in any part of my library. How can Begin downloading from where I left off?

I had gone to the purchases link on my menu but it wasn't there. I went to the store and went into my account and it was pending there to be dled. Thanks for the help!

  • Sound distortion in most recent episode of Lost

    Hi all,
the most recent episode of Lost plays on my Apple TV with really bad sound distortion starting from 4.23 and continuing to the end.
I have a series pass so the episode downloaded onto my Apple TV. The file that has synched with my Mac plays fine in iTunes. I've changed the sync options to remove that ep of Lost from the appletv and then synched back, but it still does it. The episode is Lost s6 e6 'Sundown'. Has anyone else had this issue? I don't want to watch it on my laptop, I really need it to work on the Apple TV!
    Thanks
    Caspar

Not the best solution, but at least you'll be able to watch this episode on the Apple TV.
    Either:
Switch Dolby Digital Out to Off in Apple TV's setting. The episode will then play the Stereo AAC track instead (which is fine, btw). Problem is, you'll have to switch Dolby Digital Out back on if you want surround sound back for other content.
    Or:
    Download an App called Subler.
Open the HD Episode of Lost in Subler.
You'll see that subler lists the video track and two audio tracks. The Digital surround track is not ticked, but this normal and is not the cause of the 'static problem'
Select the surround track and click the delete button.
Save the file and re-sync to Apple TV.
It will now play in stereo.

  • 80 GB Ipod can't play Lost episodes?

I bought the first episode of Lost Season 3, when I try to move it to my Ipod it tells me: "A Tale of Two Cities" was not copied to the Ipod "Musick Man" because it cannot be played on this Ipod. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? I bought two more episodes of Lost that are still downloading just so I could watch them on the Ipod on a big train ride I'll be taking soon...
I hope someone can help, and thanks in advance.

Could it be that I need to download the new version of Quicktime?

  • Downloaded 1 episode of "Lost" and can't get the rest.

I purchased the entire first season of "Lost" and was charged for it. I downloaded the first episode and then stopped the downloading of the rest of them to watch it. Later, when I re-opened iTunes to get the other episodes I no longer have a "Downloads" icon in the left window under STORE. I've tried to check for purchases from the drop down "Store" menu at the top of the window but every time I get
Unable to Check For Purchases. iTunes store is temporarily unavailable.
This has been going on for a couple of days. I've read several posts, turned of my firewall and anti-virus, flushed the dns, and a bunch of other things and nothing works. I should also mention that I recently upgraded to iTunes 7.0 and then downloaded the first season. The program worked fine until I shut it off and went back.

  • Getting ripped episodes of LOST on my iPod Touch

I own season 1 of LOST and Season 3 of Rescue Me. I've recently ripped some of the files to MP4 format to place on my Touch with handbrake. I cannot get the ripped versions of these episodes to load to my Touch. They are loading fine into my iTunes library, and play fine on my Apple TV, but won't load to the Touch. Oddly, older ripped versions of Rescue Me are loading fine to the Touch, which were also ripped with Handbrake. Anyone have any ideas? I don't even know where to start trouble shooting this one.....

Right click on the video and select 'Convert selection for iPod/iPhone' and then try syncing again.

  • Lost episodes from PC not playing on Mac

A year ago I purchased a bunch of Lost episodes with iTunes on my Windows machine. Than machine has crashed and died and I am now using a MacBook. I have managed to pull those episodes off the hard drove and move them over to my mac. I used the same account on my windows machine as on my mac. When I tried to add the files from the PC to my mac iTunes nothing happens, I also double clicked on the files and still got nothing nothing. Any ideas.

I just got a call from the designer. He moved the files into a different folder (he had dragged the folder containing the files directly from my disk and flash drive) and they save properly now. Apparently the permissions problem was originating from the folder they were in.

  • Lost PURCHASED episodes

When upgrading to the new version of iTUNES, I lost access to several television show episodes I purchased.
How do I go about getting these files back? Can I re-download them without fee? Since it obviously has something to do with the new iTUNES, I'd like to get it fixed ASAP.

perhaps let's first check to see if they are still lurking on the PC somewhere:

  • Downloading "lost" episode error message

Hi I'm trying to download a "Lost" episode called "What Kate Did" and it downloads fine until the end when it gives me this error message:
There was an error downloading your purchased music. An unknown error occurred (0xFFFE7958).
Us the Check for Purchases command in the Advanced menu to try again later
Has anyone else experienced this? I've tried to download on different computers and the same thing happens. I managed to download every other episode except this one. Thanks
    powerbook 12 inch   Mac OS X (10.4.4)

How do the computers connect to the Internet? Are they wireless, by chance, and/or all going through the same router? I've seen unconfirmed reports that a setting (being too restrictive) in a wireless router can cause download problems with the iTMS.
Also, look in your iTunes Music folder and see if there's a folder called "Downloads". If there is, and there's anything in it, delete the contents and try your download again.
If that doesn't seem to point to anything useful (particularly if the systems you've tried on are going through different Internet connections), contact the iTunes Music Store customer support department through the form at the bottom of this web page and explain the problem to them. I know that they're trying to pin down the cause of this problem (which has been reported by others).

  • Downloading problem with LOST episode

I have been trying to download all of the episodes of LOST season 2. i was successful until I reached the episode "Adrift." The episode will not finish downloading. 3 of the other episodes have downloaded and work fine. i am really frustrated because I have read other forums and it seems that MANY people are having this problem and it is not being addressed. i am not sure where to go from here. I have tried re-setting the computer, checking for purchases, browsing my files, and i have contacted tech support...NO HELP!! this is ridiculous because i have spent money and I'd like to receive my product. Can anyone help? Any suggestions??

    Hey there,
Do you encounter any particular error message? Does it download half-way and stop you? ...or does the error occur right away when you "Check for Purchases..."? If you can give us the exact text of the error message we might be able to help troubleshoot this one more specifically.
    Thanks!

  • Anyone else having trouble buying tonight's episode of Lost?

I keep trying to purchase tonight's episode of Lost, 'The Economist,' but only get the following message: The item you tried to buy is no longer available. The availability of the item changed while you were using the store. The same item may be available with a different price or elsewhere on the store.'
    Any ideas?

Yes, I too had trouble buying tonight's episode. This is a very unreliable system! Needless to say, I'm ******!!

  • I lost a downloaded episode

i have lost downloaded episodes of Lost that i had on a hard drive that crashed.  any way to get those back??

  • Last episode of Lost from ITMS is distorted

Wondering if the last ep of Lost out tonight was digitized too hot - mine sounds distorted. I know it's not my system because the rest of them sound fine... any ideas?

Well, I got yet another e-mail after I kept re-writing Apple over this issue. This time I got an e-mail from Joanna. Apparently they are not going to do anything further to fix "The Long Con" episode and are going to assume that it is the end users fault that the audio is distorted.
"I apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced with this video. However, we have investigated the issue you have reported with this episode of Lost and there we found no problem to be associated with this video or it's audio.
The nature of this question falls outside the type of support provided via email by the iTunes Music Store team. The Music Store team answers non-technical questions about billing, customer accounts, downloading music, and Music Store content."
What I don't understand is why they keep saying they don't answer non-technical questions. Who should we be asking the technical answers to?
At this point I've asked for a refund on my purchase of "The Long Con". Mostly due to the frustration that Apple is surrounding this issue with. I think you all should ask for a refund.

  • Lost listed episode after Feedburner transfer

Our podcast has been using Feedburner for about six months with no issue. This was the feed submitted to itunes and all of our episodes were in the iTunes store. We are in the process of migrating to Feedblitz for better support and metrics and when I began the transfer process of having Feedburner directed to my site feed which redirects back to feedblitz, I lost all my episodes but two. I've looked at the RSS and can't find any issues. Anyone see the problem with this feed.
    Feedburner feed:
    http://feeds.feedburner.com/RDTK_Podcasts
Feedblitz feed that Feedburner is now redirected to:
    http://feeds.feedblitz.com/rolldicetakenames
    Thanks

I'm afraid I can't advise on Feedblitz. Does it actually allow you to edit the feed itself? - it's no good putting this data into the contents of the description tag. I'm seeing this sort of thing inside those tags:
    <embed flashvars="audioUrl=http://s91339643.onlinehome.us/Podcasts/5MI-WantToPlayAGame.mp33" height="27" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" quality="best" src="http://feeds.feedblitz.com/-/39335553/0/rolldicetakenames~Whatcha-playing-Enclos ure.swf" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="400" wmode="transparent"></embed>
Notice that all the '<' and '>' tags have been rendered as the code for them, which would be correct if you were proposing to display the code as a text entry - although it doesn't in fact display.
That episode also contains a proper tag:
    <enclosure url="http://feeds.feedblitz.com/-/39335553/0/rolldicetakenames~Whatcha-playing-Enclos ure.swf" length="69736" type="application/x-shockwave-flash; charset=utf-8"/>
but refers to a Flash file. I don't know how you are going to unpick this, but the presence of all these Flash references is messing things up.
