Lost function of Reply & Send butons in Mail 2.1.3.

A few days ago I booted my G5/10.4.11 into 10.5.8 to help find an answer for a question here. (May or may not be related)
Everything works fine in other Accounts.
Upon booting back into 10.4.11, I eventually noticed that in Mail hitting Reply, nothing happens other than the button dims for an instant & this message shows in Console...

I've Rebuilt the Boxes, Ive run Disk Utility, DiskWarrior, & Drive Genius, I've Repaired Permissions & finally used AppleJack, no change.
I.ve Safe Booted & done this...

Reboot.
GAACK, now to really confuse me, I just sent myself 2 emails, one from Eudora in this account & one from Mail in another account on this Mac... for one of them the Reply button works but cannot select the message part of the window to type anything, nor does Send work from there!?

Migrating that user & all prefs from a Clone cured the problem, haven't figured it out yet, but something about logging in as UID 503 is causing it, the duplicate UID 505 login does not exhibit it.

I am currently working for JNJ Client and Currently I have a requirement to send an E-mail with Encrypted format.
When users receive an E-mail ,he/She should be able to open when there is only a secure Token connected to his system.
Based on my search i could able to find there is a function module SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1.
Could any on of you expalin how can we send Encrypted E-mail through this FM.
Please Note : We are Planning to send an E-mail containing System SAP System Password if he gets unlock.

Error When sending an e-mail

Hi,
I have written a small Function module to send an e-mail. I have used the function module SO_NEW_DOCUMENT_ATT_SEND_API1 and the e-mails are being sent as expected most of the times.
But some times e-mail transmission fails and I get the following error message( IN SOST transaction ) ' STILL NO ENTRY IN QUEUE ' (Msg No : 672).
Can any one of you help me out as to how to resolve this error.Do we need to call an explicit commit after the function call to avoid this.
Can you please respond ASAP as I am left with only one day for my development.

I have gone through the note and tried to make the change to my function module but it did not work.
Some time it still fails. I really do not understand the probelem in it. Enclosed below is a brief decription of the messsge ' STILL NO ENTRY IN QUEUE'..
Definition
A message was sent from the application. The current status of the message is 'Waiting'. However, no entry exist (yet) in the queue.
Use
This can be a normal interim status of a sent message. Preparations for entering the message in the queue for the SAPconnect send process are complete. As soon as the Persistence Service has put the message into the corresponding database table for the queue, the status changes to 'Waiting'.
If this status stays the same for too long, an inconsistent state exists. In many cases, the cause of this lies with the sending application. The Persistence Service first writes the data to the database when the application has set an explicit Commit Work. If this is missing, then the message is not put into the queue and is not recorded by the SAPconnect send process. On the send request overview, you can put the message in the queue again using retry, but you must look for the cause of the problem in the sending application itself.
Another cause of the problem may be that the corresponding entry in the queue was deleted manually before the send process recorded the message.
I request you to go through this and suggest me for a possible solution.

It might be helpful for us if we knew exactly which web-mail provider you are using. It seems strange to me that viewing or sending web-mail would actually "need" Java for operation, its more likely that some other item on the web page needs Java to run some advertising or other garbage that isn't a necessary part of the web-mail functionality you want to use.

Whenever I reply to an e-mail the window comes up but without the paper airplane in the top left corner. The only way to send the reply is to close it and save as a draft. Then I can pull it up from Drafts and it has the airplane on it.

hi when using yahoo mail fast reply sends 2 emaisl with Firefox 9!!
with INTERNET EXPLORER no problems
P.S. still no url clickable with yahoo mail and firefox 8 or 9 when sending email

Mail Yosemite: icon "send"missing when reply to an e-mail

Dear all,
I upgraded my macbook air to yosemite a few days ago. Everything went smoothly, but I have a problem with Mail.
Every time I click on the icon to reply (or reply all), a new window opens and I can write my answer BUT at the top of the window, all the icons are missing (see the image in attachment).
Then, the only way I have to send the e-mail is to save the reply as a draft and then re-open the draft. Only at this point the icons appear again!
Could someone help me? Has anybody had the same problem?
