Lost functionality with the new website

With the new website I can no longer control my indoor pan/tilt/zoom camera. Why?

The ability to control your indoor camera has not been impacted by the web application update. Here are a couple things to try:
Clear browser cache/temporary internet files
Try another browser.
If using Internet Explorer try Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. Oftentimes older versions of Internet Explorer can cause unwanted problems.
If you are still unable to control your camera after trying these steps, share a little information with us by clicking here. In your message please include:

Address
Contact number
Browser name and version

Copy all the content on your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes. Then go ahead and sync the iPod with your new library.

Lost ringtones with the new iOS 5 update.

I did the new iOS 5 update on my iPhone 4 yesterday; however, my iTunes account was wiped clean on my phone but not my computer. I had to re-authorize the only computer I have ever used to sync my phone. And to top it all off my ringtones will not sync to my phone no matter how many times I check or un-check them. Help! ~signed One Frustrated iPhone/iTunes user

When I went to purchase a new ringtone on my phone the account information was all blank. I had to re-fill out my information.That is what I mean by it being wiped out. However, when I went to log on to my computer the account was fine. I tried syncing and nothing carried over.
Yes, all of my ringtones have been purchased via iTunes. Yes, I used the same Apple ID I have used for the past 6 years.
Authorizing my computer worked just fine because it was 2 out of 5 that I have authorized for this phone even though its the same computer. Just thought it was weird.
I tried wi-fi syncing my phone tonight to get the ringtones but nothing seems to be working. The ringtones show up in my iTunes account on my computer but will not synce to my phone. I have purchased 2 new ringtones on my phone since the update and those will sync back and forth between the computer and the phone but the other remain in lockdown in iTunes.

Well, start by describing what is meant by dysfunctional. There are several different interpretations.
Of course, one could also simply READ the User's Guide and try basic troubleshooting before posting such an uninformative statement.
FYI, these are user to user support forums. Apple does not read or respond here and we, your fellow users, could care less whether you purchase another iPhone or not.

HT1386 I have a new computer and when I tried to sync my iPod Touch with the new iTunes, it has lost all of my music and videos from my iPod/old iTunes library: including all but 4 songs of my bought songs, videos and audeobooks!

I have recently updated my computer since my old one broke and therefore had to download a new iTunes. When I came to add my iPod to this new iTunes, I was given no option to transfer the contents of my iPod library to this new iTunes and was forced to try 'sync'; when my old computer was repaired once we lost all of our data so I had to download a new iTunes then,all of my iPod downloads were transferred and I could easily reburn my CDs so I didn't think the wiping of my iPod would be a problem. When I clicked 'sync' it warned me that it would replace the contents of my iPod with the new iTunes library, as I said I didn't think this would be a problembut then it asked if it should transfer my recent iTunes downloads so I said 'yes'. The sync was completed but now I only have 4 downloaded songs and 5 albums which I burned to my new iTunes! I have lost all the music I bought, all the videos I bought and all the audiobooks I bought! (Luckily I still have my apps.) I tried to restore backup but realised that only covers calendars, contacts E.T.C and I checked my iTunes account and that shows all my downloads but I can't see a way to restore them or anything like that!
Please help! I am in despair as you can imagine how much moneys worth I have lost and am losing faith in Apple

Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

Take it back where you got and and get your money back.
As has been pointed out, if there was a "previous owner", the phone is not "new". Thephone you purchased is most likely stolen. If whoever you bought it from won't give you your money back, turn it over to the police.

Open new tabs.
Just right click on what you want to open and click "Open in new Tab"
It is easy and doesn't consume memory from your computer as well as easy to navigate.

If you have a backup on iCloud or iTunes you would not have lost all your data, the update went fine on my phone and my wifes and many others. On forums you dont see the millions of users saying it went well, just the few with issues. If you had no backup thats not Apples fault, thats yours. The same will happen whatever platform you go to if you dont back your data up.

You could just disable updates. Change these settings in about:config.
* app.update.auto - set to false
* app.update.enabled - set to false
You can still check for updates with the "Check for Updates" button in the About Firefox window, but it will download the update file anyway if there is an update available. You can also check which is the current release from here:
* http://sjc.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/new/

Synch them back from whatever contact manager or cloud service you stored them in.
