Lost Game Center Data

why are ios 7 and 8 the only ones that are able to retrieve lost data from Game Center and not ios 6 anymore? ive lost data from multiple games and its very frustrating having to start all over when i have worked so hard on them. is there a fix for it? or do i just have to deal with it? i personally feel like apple should do something so that at least ios 6 is included in lost data retrieval. please help me get my lost data back

Yes, it is the same with me. I know a friend how upgraded to iso7 and lost all of his game center data. He tried singning in and re singning in but no change. Plus on to of all of this, apple is like have me and him to re-validate our itunes acount. Somthing weried is going on. So verified my itunes acount and it shows under settings that I am signed in, but when I go to the app store on my iPhone and try downloading or even updating a app, it says "can not conect to itunes store" after singing in! AND I'M NOT SURE I AM GOING TO UPGRADE TO ISO7 YET UNTILL THEY FIX THIS BUG!!!! HELP!

This link is for profile settings I have a iPad and iPhone with the same Apple ID, but on Game Center I have used the same id for both devices and they are two different profiles and I was wondering how to have one of the accounts on both devices.
I couldn't find anything else using google.

How do I delete Game Center Data on a mac?

I am trying to delete my data for CSR Racing as I want to restart the game and i can not do so without deleting my Game Center data for the game.

I tried deleting it, redownloading it, removing the Game Center data, and redownloading it again and it's still on Game Center that "I" acheived the achievement. I'm so mad at that kid.

I have been surfing through the community forums trying to look for an answer to a question that I have respecting Achievements & Scores Data within the Game Center Application, but I haven't found a definitive answer as of yet.
As I do not want to crowd the storage space on my iPad with Game Apps, I figured that I would I play through a game, trying to attain all of the Achievements while doing so; and that once I've gotten through the game and have finished attaining the Achievements, I would delete the Game App from my iPad in order to preserve storage space. While playing the game, I would do an iCloud backup storage of Game Data just in case I lost the data - but once I've completed the game, I figured that I would terminate the iCloud backup.
My question is: Although deleting the Game App in addition to the iCloud backup data will terminate whatever game progress I have made, will the Game Center still have my Achievements & Scores on record? In other words: Does the Game Center save Achievements & Scores? - or is the particular Game Save Data tied into the Game Center's data, so that upon deletion of the Game App, all Achievements & Scores are wiped from the record? (I have a PS3, and my experience with earning Achievements (known on the PS3 as "Trophies"), is that Achievement Data is never lost - unless, I believe, you delete your PS3 account. So, on the PS3, I've deleted saved games and have never lost any Achievements that are stored on the PS3 online servers in connection with the account. Is my Apple ID, in the same way, connected to my Achievements & Score Data in the Game Center?)
I hope that someone can answer this for me. I really have no intention of preserving megabytes of Game Apps on my iPad if I am no longer using them, and I really have no intention of preserving Saved Data in iCloud's limited 5GB of free storage space.
(Note: I was trying to look specifically for "Game Center" [even as a subdivision within iOS Apps], but I couldn't find a particular community for this. I figured that asking my question in this particular section would do just as well.)

My appleID was created way back when it didn't use email as the ID. When Game center came out, i created a different account using an email(A) for game center. Now with iOS5, i was forced to changed my main appleID to use an email, thus i changed the game center appleID to a different email(B) (which i plan on abandoning) and use the email (A) as my main accounts ID.
Problem is, all the game achievements and stuffs I have obtained is associated to email(B) now in the game center, when i use email(A) which is now my main account, it is treated as a new game center account. Is there anyway i can transfer my data over?

Forgotten/lost Game Center cred's, pls help

RRecently my iPhone 5 slipped out of my pocket, fell and apparently damaged the mother board. Got a new phone but I realized that my Game Center credentials I used to play clash of clans I have totally forgotten what it is, for years I've been using a different login so that old one is long lost to me. I still have the phone, it's just not working. I've spent an embarrassing amount of money playing this game and I really would like to recover it. Is there anyway I can go about this? Can I even fix the iPhone 5 with a bad mother board somehow? Thanks in advance

For the benefit of others, I'll explain how I fixed this...
For some reason, when I upgraded my iPhone, my iPad signed in as my current iTunes Store ID. I had been using a different gash Apple ID (this one in fact for apple discussions since 2005) for Game Centre on my iPad.
So others who may have lost progress, check the actual account you are using and try other Apple IDs in Game Centre. Hope this helps.

HT4314 Missing Game Center account

I have 1 Apple ID and 2 Game Center accounts (Mom and Kid playing things like Dragon Vale together)...
I used to be able to access Game Center account A from my iPad and Game Center account B from my iPhone.
Ever since the revised Terms & Conditions were released (September 2012), I now can not login to Account B - it seems to have disappeared?
When I check Account A (on the ipad), Account B still shows up as an active Friend. Now, I am stuck as only Account A when I logged back into Game Center on the iPhone using the Apple ID.
Any ideas on how I can retrieve the 'lost' game center account???

Try restoring from backup. See:

If you resore from iTunes backup
To help prevent the last backup from being overwritten and thus erasing the Messages from the last backup turn off autosyncing so that you have to overtly start a sync. To turn off go iTunes>Preferences>Devices and check the box that says "Prevent iPods...".

Reset Game Center app without factory reset?

Sorry if this is the wrong forum, I didn't see a better one. Please direct me to it if so.
I have a corrupt Game Center file that is crashing a game at the load screen. I suspect it's Game Center related because I tried the game on my iPad and it worked fine until I tried to sync my Game Center progress. After that I am getting the same crash at the same point on the load screen. My question, is there a way to reset my local Game Center data without wiping the phone?

TS1702 I've done recent iOS update on IPad (2nd gen) and now game center will not open. and when I attempt to contact support it tells me that I need current safari browser, yet when I plug in it tells me all is up to date????????

I have synced 4 times and turned IPad on and off several times. when I try to connect to Apple support it tells me that i must have current safari browser. Yet when I sync to my MAC it tells me all is up to date with current ios.

Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...
Usually takes about 15 - 20 Seconds... ( But can take Longer...)
Release the Buttons...
If no joy... Try a Restore...
1: Connect the device to Your computer and open iTunes.
2: If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane.
