Lost game info

I have an I-pod Touch 3rd generation and have approximately thirty games. I plugged the touch into my computer and the games were removed from the touch and showed up under applications on I-tunes. I synched the games back onto the touch but lost all my progress and scores on all my games. I played most of these games for months and now have to start over.
Is there any way to retrieve this lost info?
Also why were the games removed? What Did I do Wrong?

Try the "Restore from Backup" command to restore the info that was lost. You should pick a backup old enough to have the correct info. If that doesn't work you might try to restore the backups from Time Machine and then do the restore process again. The iPod backups can be found here: user/library/application support/MobileSync/Backup
I just did something similar and replaced the whole "Backup" folder. It took more than one try but I eventually got all my game info back.

If you made a backup before you restored it you can restore your iPhone from a backup and your game data should be restored. When you connect your iPhone in iTunes you can right click on it in the sidebar and select restore from backup.

A backup doesn't contain any of your iTunes downloads or the contents of the Music, Videos or iBooks apps. If they are ibooks and they are still in the store then you should be able to redownload them via the Purchased tab in the ibookstore in the iBooks app. If they are PDFs and/or epubs from other sources then do you have copies of them anywhere e.g. are they in the Books part of your computer's iTunes library or elsewhere on your computer ?

Not only is LR messed up, it deleted my day's shooting. Can't believe that.
Now it won't import (i.e. re-import) half my files.
Imported half, but had errors importing rest.
Corrupt catalog?
When I try to import the folders, it recognizes that they are in the catalog (I have "don't import duplicates" turned on).
After running through all the folders, it says, "Nothing to Import."
Any help?

I installed a plugin, coincidence makes me thinks this might have cause a LR4.4 crash.
After rebooting my windows 7 laptop, LR had lost record of half my directories on the external drive, as seen in Library Module.
In Windows Explorer, the folders and images are still there.
I tried recovering the lost folder references in LR by doing an import on the external hard drive again.
It took about a half hour to run.
There was a report screen at the end of the process that said that LR was unable to import something like 1500 images.
I did not save the report screen. Maybe it is part of a log file somewhere to give you what it exactly said?
I do not profess to understand how catalogues work under the covers.
I only use one catalog at this point.
My guess is at this point I should de-commission the catalog (whatever it takes to do that - delete it, etc.) and just do a new, fresh import on my images.
I don't feel I lose anthing this way - I can't see where I would lose anything important. About 5-10% of the RAW images were processed and exported to jpg, just for web use for casual viewing. The jpg's are all still on the external hard drive.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Lost Song Info

OK, here's my situation:
I have Windows XP. I realised that no album artwork was showing on my iPod nano, even though it was on iTunes (most up-to-date version). This was because the error with the "Chkdsk" thing kept appearing. After I ran that, nothing changed, but after I'd changed some setting somwhere, I thought I'd fixed the problem. But I had to stop partway through the operation so only some of it came up on the iPod.
However, when I went back to it, I somehow accidentally deleted all song info (artist, album, album artwork etc) and now all that appears on both the iPod and iTunes is the song title. This is the case in "iPod", "Purchased" and "Library" sections. Nor is it on my hard drive.
Is there an easy way to retrieve all lost song info quickly and easily?

How many songs are you talking about? You can enter the information yourself for each one if you're up to it. Right click on the song file, then choose get info. On the second tab "info" where everything is probably showing up unknown, you can type in the information. I'm sorry I really don't know of another way to do this if the program can't ID the song to search the internet for details.
Are these whole albums or individual songs? If they're albums, you could burn them to a CD and then rip them into Windows Media Player. You'll get an option to search for the album info. online before you rip the CD. You can enter the artist or album name and let Windows Media Player find the correct song details, then Windows Media Player will enter the info into all of the columns for you. Once you have these albums ripped in Media Player, you can re-import them into iTunes and the tags will be there. (Just make sure you rip using mp3 so you don't have to go through a conversion process to bring them into iTunes.) Album art doesn't transfer from Windows Media Player to iTunes. You'll have to hand add this.
I don't rip in iTunes so I don't know how the program tags unknown albums. If iTunes can search for and add tag information to unknown albums--skip the Windows Media Player step and just re-rip everything in iTunes.

Just synced and updated os for ipod touch 5th gen and have lost game data - restore won't get it back, is there anyway to retrieve?

If restoring from backup did not work then there is nothing else you can do. Did you try both from iTunes backup and iCloud backup? If you restore from iTunes backup you have to have the apps in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup.

Latest version is 6.1 now. Try a direct download of the IOS file and load that via iTunes. Mentioned on some of the other threads here.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.

Another thing to try - Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Multiple Game Center Names on Apple ID Lost games

I upgraded to IOS7 as requested on my ipad. Now i have lost a game I have spent over a thousand dollars on and I am very upset! I am traveling in Asia and when I try and log on to online support it's only option is to try and call me on my home tel. in USA for which I am not there!
There is no email and when I go to the local site here in Thailand its all in Thai Language which isnt helpful, if you go to the recomended English support for AsiaPacific Thailand isnt listed so it sends me back to a Thai site!
I have looked at Youtube explanations, Apple reccomendations and everything else under the sun! When I go to pple ID help to try and identify what Game Center accounts are attached to my Apple ID it keep sending me to the "Change Password" site for which I have now changed so many times Im running out of options I can remember and it still doesnt send me what Game Center Names are associated with the account! SO HOW DO I FIND WHAT GAME CENTER NAMES ARE ASSOCIATED WITH WHICH ACCOUNT?
Apple has no online chat or email link I can lodge a request or complaint!
I cant believe APPLE CAN BE SO SCREWED UP! I see many people are having severe problems with the update as well the same exact problem I am having with the 7.0 update!!! Where is apple and how do I find the game???? Or Apple buy my stuff back and return my money I spent on the games!!!
