Lost google search on ipad

Hi I have lost google search on my ipad when I try to download again I get the answer cannot connect to itunes store. What am I doing wrong. I have only recently got an ipad and am not quite up to speed with it Thanks Sean

In Safari, go to the menu bar View->Customize Toolbar...
You can then replace the search engine field, and make any other changes you might like.

HT1338 I lost google search engine off of my safari search bar

For some reason my google search dissapeared off of my safarie address bar. How do I get it back?

Good Answer, but wrong answer for me. I work with multiple tabs and like having the search window stay up there so I can re-use it. I understand that many prefer the unibar, I would prefer to have it optional. Let me drag a frickin' search engine into the tool bar.
I don't like it, but its on to firefox as my default browser. apple will never miss me, and I assume won't care, but I'm trading a product I liked for a product I don't like, all for the sake of a search bar.

Sometimes I lose my browser box on Firefox and I have to go to another browser and then after a few weeks it come back When it is lost google search and my email works fine but there is no browser box

I usually can eventually access the router, but it is way to much trouble. However, I use my iPad hundreds of times more often than my laptop.

Are you typing http:// in front of the IP address of the router? e.g. http://192.168.0.1
Sometimes, and with some routers it doesn't seem to like it if you miss off the http://

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Yes, it confuses a handful of you. Just not the other 3 million plus users who downloaded it. Maybe tell Apple instead of yelling at we other users.

You can't. It's now integrated with the URL bar. It's a search/URL combo.

until recently when i try to search using safari google search bar, instead of the search result, i am shown with this error message

i have to clear cookie in the safari settings to get it work, but only for one search, after that the same error repeats.

It would be nice, rbi, if you actually tried the app prior to commenting. This problem just showed up, just today. It has nothing to do with flash, it is the image search for google for crying out loud. It is some sort of change with google and it *****. Perhaps it is their way of forcing iPad users to use their crappy app. Great. Thanks. Another good experience ruined by the lame politics between corporations. I am sure that some idiot mid level executive is very proud of themselves right now.

Question about Google Search results on iPad 2

The "results" page that comes up when I do a Google Search is not back-lit and I cannot select any of the websites in the results. How do I gain access to the sites found in the Google Search?

Try this and see if this helps.
Tap Settings, then tap Safari on the left side. Then on the right side - tap clear history, clear cookies, clear cache. Clear all three. Reboot your iPad. Hold down on the sleep button at the top until the red slider appears and slide to power off. Then hold down on the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and the iPad will restart. Launch Safari and see if it helped.
