Lost installation CD and have a new computer - advi

I cannot find my software CD - I have the box it came in though, with the serial numbers. I have a new computer and I'd like to install the software (or I cannot manage/charge my zen micro) but I don't have it. Is there any way to receive a free software download if I provide the serial number to tech support/customer service?

You are probably trying to use old Sync with Firefox newer than version 29,
and they did make old Sync unusable on fresh installations of newer Firefox.
You can uninstall that newer Firefox, then install Firefox 29 from here:

Apply your sync key code, then update that installation to current Firefox,
then migrate to new Sync:

okay from reading posts it seems if I transfer my backed up info from my old comp to the new one and erase my dad's phone's back up i could reset my phone and it would transfer all my old data back onto the phone, be linked to the new computer and i could proceed. Firefox doesn't have an "export" feature built into it for password data.
Exactly what did you do to "export" your passwords?

If you copied the two files that are used for storing passwords from the old computer to back them up, just copy those 2 files into the Profile folder on the new computer to restore them.

Depends on your OS.
If you have a new OS it might not work or might not work flawless.
Installing has to be done always from the original installer or an installer with the same language, version and plattform as your original installer was, when you download it from Adobe's web site (e.g. if your new computer has no CD drive, or the CS is broken). You will always need your serial.
You should always deactivate the old version as you can install it on 2 computer at maximum.

You can try the compatibility setting, but another issue may be if you have a x64 system. AA6 was never designed to work in a 64-bit environment, giving a second level of compatibility to consider. Even on Win7, there were operational issues (like AcroTray not working) and Win8 should just be more of the same and maybe worse. If you can succeed in getting it installed in a compatibility mode, we might then discuss the workarounds you will need. I would strongly recommend you upgrade (well purchase -- too late for the upgrade) to AA XI.

Log in to iTunes (don't worry if you can't play music). Go to "Account" from the Quick Links menu. From there, you can deauthorize all of the computers tied to your account, even if yo uno longer own them. It used to be that you could only do this once a year, so don't play around with it.
After that, you can re-authorize toe computers you desire.

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
If for some reason you have failed to backup, not good, then you can redownload some purchases in some countries.

Yes.
What you need to do is Transfer the iTunes Library from your Old computer to your New computer...
Copy your ENTIRE iTunes FOLDER to an External Drive... and then from the External Drive to your New Computer..
Backup iTunes to an External Drive
