Lost Internet Explorer Toolbar

I was using the 'Tools' in IE and I accidentally removed the 'Command' option. Now my IE does not have any toolbars. I tried downloading IE8 but it will not install because "There is already a newer version installed". How can I re-install IE, or at least get back the standard IE toolbar (File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools, Help). Thanks for your help (Satellite M505D), Ivan

Try PC Decrapifier.  It works like a charm removing all of the preinstalled junk.  Just don't use it to remove anything by Symantec/Norton.  Use their special removal tool for that.
The problem removing the preinstalled junk isn't limited to Toshiba.  Compaqs and Sonys are the absolute worst offenders.
If you don't post your COMPLETE model number it's very difficult to assist you. Please try to post in complete sentences with punctuation, capitals, and correct spelling. Toshiba does NOT provide any direct support in these forums. All support is User to User in their spare time.

How to make Internet Explorer ToolBar & tool Buttons using Swing?

If you've a JApplet, then you can create your own JToolbar, and add your custom buttons to it. But it won't be an "internet explorer toolbar" as your subject line asks for.
From your JApplet, you can get the AppletContext object.
With this you can call showDocument(URL url); to jump to any page.
But offhand... I don't think you can directly replace the IE back and forward buttons. Because your applet has just been created and doesn't know anything about IE's cache of history of previous pages it visited before your applet.

  • Lost Internet Explorer, help upgrading Safari

Something happened to my Internet Explorer 5.2 and I get this message...
"The specified server could not be found."
I cannot download it again from Microsoft because it became no longer available after 12/31/05. Is there some secondary place to get it? My computer is five years old and we are all used to Explorer. I do have Safari, but it is version 1.0.3 and it won't let me onto some websites and pages. For instance, some government sites that I use for business purposes to pay taxes, etc.

As armeen correctly says, you're probably better off trying a different browser. Here are a few links to some including those mentioned by armeen:
    Camino
    Firefox
    Opera
    OmniWeb
As to your original question, Safari 1.0.3 is the latest version available for OS X 10.2.8.
To use Safari 2.0.x you would need to pay to upgrade your OS to 10.4

  • I lost Internet Explorer on my new computer. I tried to download firefox to a flash drive and install it on the other computer ,but it says something is missing. I really need help.

    Please see question

Go to a suitable download page eg: [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all.html]
Download firefox, use the save option rather than install.
Save it directly to the flash drive, or to somewhere on your computer and copy/move it the flash drive.
However if IE is not working possibly you have some sort of setup problem so firefox may not work either.

  • How to install Adobe PDF toolbar in Internet Explorer after uninstalling IE 10 and installing IE 9

Hello.  I need help installing Adobe PDF convert web page to pdf toolbar to my Internet Explorer 9.  I uninstalled Internet Explorer 11 and 10 because I could not open pdf files in IE 10 or 11 -- trying to open pdf documents froze/locked up Internet Explorer and I had to use Task Manager to exit Internet Explorer every time I tried opening a pdf document.  I have downgraded to IE 9 with the hope that I will have better luck.
I am using Windows 7 operating system.  I have Adobe Acrobat X Pro installed on my computer.
Now that I downgraded to IE 9, I've lost the Adobe convert web page to pdf toolbar.  It is not even in my choice of add ons in Internet Explorer when I go to Manage Add Ons.  How do I get the Adobe toolbar add on back?
I lost my Adobe Acrobat X Pro disk so do not have that to help me in any way.  What can I do?
    Your help is greatly appreciated!

If it is an issue of the AA X disk, you can download from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. Be sure to create a replacement CD in case it is not available in the future. You will still need your S/N for any reinstall. You can usually get that from the Adobe site as long as you registered Acrobat (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html).

  • Acrobat X Pro toolbar missing in Internet Explorer 9 / IE9

I just installed adobe Acrobat X Pro on a Windows Server 2008 R2. Everything seems to have installed fine and is working EXCEPT that the Acrobat toolbar is not being displayed in Internet Explorer (IE9). If I check under 'Manage Add-ons' the toolbar is displayed there as being incorporated and enabled... but it is not displayed or listed under 'View/Toolbars'.
Can anyone tell me how to get it to display??

In Adobe acrobat pro, go to the Edit/Preferences menu and select the internet menu and make sure the Display PDF in browser item is checked.
Click the Internet settings button and go to the advanced tab and make sure the Enable third-party browser extensions is checked.
THen open the 32 bit version of IE9.

  • My system needs internet explorer for a application I need to down load, however I need to down load the latest yahoo tool bar for internet explorer to work properly and firefox will not allow the down load of yahoo toolbar. How do I fix this?

I have not used Internet explorer since downloading firefox and I need IE for a trading platform that I need to use. In order to get IE working I apparently need to down load the latest version of Yahoo toolbar, however when I try to down load the tool bar Firefox will not allow the down load of that file.

Thank you so much, for once in my computer life I knew what the problem was, what caused it, why it was caused, what it did, what it made it do and most importantly how to fix it and to do it correctly and expeditiously. I can not Thank You all enough for all of the help! I also have Pogo mailed this to all on my friends list, where they have all learned as I have and have fixed theirs also. and the message is being spread. Thank You again, I just can not say it enough.

  • Keeping Reader Toolbar Hidden in Internet Explorer

How do I keep the Adobe Reader Toolbar hidden after I hide it when viewing a PDF in Internet Explorer?
If I right click on the toolbar and select the Hide Toolbars Option, the toolbar is hidden for the current PDF.  But, the next time I navigate to a PDF in Internet Explorer, the toolbar is visible again.
If Adobe Reader is started outside of Internet Explorer, the toolbar can be hidden and remain hidden until I select the appropriate menu option to show the toolbar again.
    Thanks.

It is usually dimmed till the time a page is completely loaded. Does this happen for you for all pages, or a specific web page? If specific web page, try pressing the stop button of the browser and see if that helps.

  • Customizing acrobat toolbar in internet explorer

Hi, I am using acrobat 9 pro, and opening pdf file in the
    internet explorer.
Now, acrobat toolbar does not show some functionalities like

  • What happened to PDF toolbar in Internet Explorer?

(Think I may have posted in the wrong forum -- Acrobat.com -- so I'm reposting here)
I recently installed the beta of Internet Explorer 9 on my Windows 7 system. I liked it well enough, but the install caused my Acrobat 9 Professional toolbar to disappear. The only PDF item under "Manage Add-ons" is Adobe PDF Link Helper, which doesn't seem to do anything. I ran "Repair" several times from Acrobat to no effect. I then uninstalled the beta IE9 and restored IE8, then ran Repair again. No joy. The two icons in the toolbar (convert and convert rectangular region) are long gone. However my Office 2007 applications all have their Acrobat items present and they all work.
I understand that the PDF toolbar has some problems with the 64-bit version of IE8, so I've tried using the 32-bit version, again to no effect.
I can print to the PDF print driver, but that's a bit of a blunt tool and rather inconvenient. I just want to get the toolbar back. Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

Keep in mind that IE9 is still in Beta.  They may have support for it once the full version is released.  I
have IE9 Beta installed on my Win7 notebook and I will take a look to see if I see any options for the toolbar.
I know that with IE9 they were trying to eliminate a lot of the "chrome" of the browser to streamline it like Google's browser.
Firefox 4 Beta has done something similar to maximize website real estate.

  • Enable button in File Toolbar when launching in Internet Explorer

I have an installation of Acrobat Reader 8 installed using an MST file on several Citrix Servers. Also a hidemenu.js file is configured to show /hide some specific items.
When I open a PDF file all the items are showed/ hide as configured in the hidemenu.js file. So far so good
When launching Internet Explorer and open a pdf file in the browser some buttons are missing. We need the E-mail button from the File Toolbar by default. This button is there when I open the application outside Internet Explorer. The user can enable the E-mail option using the File Toolbar, but this setting is reset when the user has logged of.
Can somebody please explain how to enable this option (or any other option from the File Toolbar) when open a pdf file in Internet Explorer by default?

    Hi,
In the screen which shows you the dump, you will have a button debugger. Click on that and find out the field that is passed to 'obj'. It should be of character type and it is passed as Packed Integer in your report. Change the data type to 'C' and check it.

  • Virtualize IE6 including Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar

I tried to follow this thread http://forums.novell.com/novell-prod...h-plugins.html
to virtualize IE6 including Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar
As a result IE6 contains Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar button but it's not work on Win 7 machine.
I think settings shared with IE9 somehow and it's not work, or what it can be?

With ZAV 9 we have another option available:
When you snapshotted the Internet Explorer Developer Toolbar, was the "Internet Explorer Snapshot Compatibility Mode" option enabled? This can affect how the snapshot turns out and should be enabled anytime a component will hook into IE.
Have you tried building the virtual IE6 by having ZAV scan the system for installed applications? That might be worth a shot to get this working in Windows 7.
