Lost iPhone 3GS black. Desperate help needed.

My iPhone 3GS 8 GB was robbed and i have installed Find My iPhone software. However, the robber seems to have removed the SIM card out of the phone due to which I am not able to track the phone. Any suggestions on how I can find my phone back? Please help. The phone was not even 6 months old and it meant a lot to me. I am deeply hurt. Sincere request to all.

Here's something funny my car was stolen the one day I forget my iPhone in it. Was able to track it while sitting next to the cop and we retrieved my car back. The thief told the cop it was his friends mean while im standing next to the cop. Now there is a permanent iPhone 3G directly wired to my car.

Okay, so I was telling my friend how i didn't have MMS yet on iPhone 3GS, and he said he could fix that. Me being an idiot, I trusted him. Now when i turned it on it instructed me to plug it in, and open iTunes.
When I do that, it tells me that my activation could not be completed because i am now a registered member of Apple's developer program.
Can somebody please help now I am in serious trouble. Could someone atleast tell me how to restore it to 3.0? it would let me do anything with the iPhone on iTunes. PLEASE HELP

I recently lost my iphone 3gs. Id like to purchase a used one on ebay, but Im not sure if I need to purchase a sim card as well. It seems like sellers are selling sim cards on ebay really cheap. Will these work with the iphone, or do I need to buy one from AT&T?
also, do you recommend I wait for the Iphone 4g to come out? It seems like a used Iphone 3gs 32 GB goes for around $390 on ebay. Any ideas on what the new one might sell for?

I will certainly go to the ATT store, I just hope they will give me a sim. I was told on the phone that it would cost $20 to buy a new sim. If that is the case, I would rather get one on ebay if that is legal. Has anyone had any experience getting a free sim from ATT? Does it depend on who you talk to?

My Iphone 3gs has frozen-help me please ??

I'm new to the site;
And I'm in despair.My Iphone isn't jailbroken or anything like that. So this is how it begins;
I downloaded the alarm clock app on my Iphone 3gs on Tuesday evening, so I could set my alarm for the following morning, it downloaded fine. I woke up the following morning to the phone vibrating twice every 5 seconds or so and the phone was frozen on the passcode screen.
I have tried the home button/sleep button reset to no avail.
I have tried tried connecting it to itunes and doing the restore-i click the restore button but it only ends up updating which then fails due to the 3259 error code?!
I have tried doing this in the recovery mode but it still doesn't work.
I have tried searching endlessley on both google and youtube for hopeful fixes but I am beginning to loose hope?!
I have only had the Iphone two weeks as my cousin's contract expired, so I bought it off her.
If anyone could help me I would be very grateful,

Either you need to update iTunes on your computer to the current version or you have firewall software that is not allowing iTunes to connect to the activation server.

I am facing wifi and mobile 2G signal issue after upgrading to IOS 6 from IOS 5 in IPhone 3GS. The mobile carrier signal as well as WIFI suddenly drops zero and are then restored automatically. Sometimes i cannot conenct to WIFI even standing infront of WIFI router. Please help, restoring setting even didn't helped.

Update: my phone's connecting to the WiFi again. I don't know what did the trick. I did nothing since reinstalling the software. It hadn't worked then, it is now. I tried connecting to my dad's phone's hotspot( he uses a Moto G), and it worked. I then tried connecting to the WiFi at a friend's house, and when I came back home, my phone was able to connect to my WiFi! Is it of any significance that my friend's router doesn't require a password? My issue has been resolved( for now; I hope I'm not counting my chickens before they've hatched). For anyone facing a similar issue, I suggest you try everything I did:
1. Turn your router off for a minimum of 30 seconds, turn it back on and try connecting.
2. Click on the WiFi network you are connected to, scroll to the bottom, tap "Renew Lease".
3. Do a soft and hard reset.
4. Reset network settings.
5. Back your data up, erase all content from settings menu, restore from backup.
6. Reinstall your software( put it in recovery mode).
I am not sure which of the above worked for me. Make sure you try everything. If none of the above works, take it to a genius bar or an authorised service provider. Good luck! :)

Login to iCloud.com from any computer, locate the phone, then erase it. This requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated on the phone before it was lost, & that the phone be turned on & connected to the Internet. If not, there is no way to do what you want.

Cant restore my Iphone 3GS.. HELP!

I cant restore my Iphone 3GS. I get the restore message, pushed the restore button and the progressbar starts. Then I get the message that an "unknown problem has occured" after a while in the process. When I push the ON/OFF button I get the connect-to-Itunes-picture and the same restore message pops up. I've tried everything.

Lost iphone 3Gs

Unfortunately, I "lost" my iPhone 3gs yesterday. I did have a password on the phone and can see from my AT&T account that the phone has not been used to make call/text. Since I can't wipe the phone, (no MobileMe) is there anything I should do or be worried about from a security standpoint? Is the password enough to keep the "finder" of my phone out of my business?

Unless your a celeb with saucy pix stored on the phone and the user who finds it knows you then they would waste time trying to get into the phone to see its content. the person who finds it hopefully does that right thing and returns it. but if they dont and they do try to connect the iPhone to their PC it would ask to sync and erase so all your data would be wiped off the iPhone

How do I get repeat voicemail alerts on my new iphone 3GS? Please help.

I got the new iphone 3GS. Right now, if someone leaves a voicemail it beeps once and that's it. This is fine, except when I am not near my phone when this beep sounds. (I would have to manually check the phone to see if anyone called).
I would like the phone to beep as a reminder that I have a voicemail waiting say every 5 or 10 minutes until I listen to it (or purposely acknowledge there is a vm for me and decide to listen to it later). Can anyone tell me how to set up a "repeat" voicemail alert? (Every phone I have owned has had this).

It is surprising iphone does not have this feature. My 5 year previous cell phone had the feature, but would also give you the option to disable it if you just wanted 1 beep. That way if you step away from your cell or get busy, you at least had a repeat reminder to check your voicemail. This is CRITICAL in Emergency situations (medical) or time sensitive things that can come up, especially if you don't know about them in advance.
Can we have more discussion on this? Are we sure this simple feature does not exist for the iphone?? Is there an Application I can get that will help solve this problem? I am sure I am not the only one who could benefit from it.

Iphone 3gs black lines?

hi umm i have an iphone 3gs and for some unknowen reason recently it will turn itself off and 2 or 3 black lines will appear on the screen ive tried turning it off then on again but it seems as though when the bttery gets kinda low (10-20%) it will happen does anyone have any ideas?

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these steps in order until the problem is resolved.

My iPhone 3GS battery kind of started to grow big and it bended my circuit board on the phone
when i tryied to turn it on after an year, it would go to the apple logo and restart. i tryed to restore it via itunes and i got error 2001 and, now my iphone turns on with a white screen.
1) is it possible to UNbend my circuit board?
2) is my iphone ever going to work again?
is it possible that if i get a new battery, it will let me connect it to itunes and make it work?
also, even if i connect it to the wall with or without the battery, my screen goes white. is my screen broken suddenly or is it because the famouse white screen of death?

As Apple changed my iPhone in the service, I restored it with itunes and the newest firmware and the latest backup of the device.
But now, my "original" Volkswagen telephone bluetooth adapter (to put in as a dock) is not working anymore. "The phone cannot be charged with this device" it's said. Why Why Why Apple is this so? Before this, everything worked fine
