IS THERE A WAY TO REINSTALL OR FIND THE LALGUAGE???
    PLEASE HELP
THANKS!!Message Edited by ralf on 09-Apr-200710:05 PM

    HI,
NSU updates the phone depending on the product code number which can be found beheind the phone under the battery.
So if you want to get back to your language, you should visit a Nokia authorized service center.

  • Lost language selection option

    Hi,
I accidentally upgraded our GroupWise system using the gw8.0.2-92377_full_linux_en package rather than the gw8.0.2-92377_full_linux_multi package.
Now the language selection dropdown box is not there anymore on the WebAccess login screen.
I tried to install the right update package with no success. Can anyone tell me how to get the language selection back?
    thanks, Mike

    Hi Mike,
When reinstalling, did you first manually remove the WebAccess application (rpm -e novell-groupwise-webaccess) package before reinstalling the multilingual one? Could be a difference there.

  • Lost language bar

Have managed to lose the language bar from my task bar - I have been able to re-install it on my computer but it has to be done every time I log on, and it's now floating on my home page.   Up until two days ago, the language bar was on my task bar.  When I brought up the menu on my task bar, language was there, but when I clicked on it, it disappeared.  Does anyone know how I can re-instate it in the task bar permanently?

I feel the steps in the following weblink will restore the language bar:

  • Lost Languages in Console

I've created a repository with two languages, but after I've defined the tables and fields the translation in the second language (at the field name) is no longer visible in the Console. Sometimes when I log out and log on in the repository the translation in the second language is a short time visible.
We use MDM 5.5 SP 5.
    Thanks for your reaction.

  • How can I add interface languages to my Android yoga 2?

    Hi,
I just bought a new Yoga 2 830F 8" Android tablet. To my surprise, the Hebrew language that exists natively in Android for a few years now was ommited from Lenovo's build, so I am left with using only English as the interface language. I would be OK with that but this tablet is for my son who doesn't know English.
Is there any way to re-add the lost language?
    Thanks,
    Oren

OOpen dictionary.app in applications and go to its preferences and check the boxes for the dictionaries you want.

  • X3-02 Backlight & Keypad Problems

    Hi all
Have got a Nokia x3-02 which is about a year old now and noticing a few problems that have come up.
The 2 main problems I am having are...
1 > The LCD backlight doesn't turn off or "dim" after locking or after not using for a few minutes.
I have checked all of my settings and all is good. This problem doesn't happen all the time and most of the time it works normally, but when it decides not to work and not "dim" it thus drain all the life out of the battery.
2> The other problem I am experiencing is that the bottom row of keys have stopped working (7, 8, 9, 0) The strange thing is the rest of the keys now sometimes work and sometimes don't rendering the phone useless and even more strange is that on a few rare occasions the 8, 9 & 0 keys will work but never the 7 anymore.
Im not sure weather these two problems are related.
I have decided to tackle the keypad problem myself with a replacement part so hopefully that will sort that out as the price I got back from the Nokia Care shop was extreme!
I thought it might have been a software problem and as I am on a MAC has been a mission to update but now on the latest version, 6.0
If anyone has any solutions or are experiencing the same would be great to know how to solve it.
    Cheers!

You will have to get the Language pack installed thru' Nokia Care as it can not be done by the User.
BTW ...here is the reason for the lost language.

  • Power consumption for latest mac pros?

I read on Apple.com somewhere that the 2008 Mac pro's maximum power consumption is 260+ Watts for a Quad-core. How different is it for the new Mac pros?

I guess English is a lost language now.
For the Mac Pro it is really really simple and based on 7 yrs of PowerMac G5s and then Mac Pro owners: 1500VA - you can get by with slightly smaller 1300VA and some people, because of better build, used SMART UPS 1000VA.
And as I said in another thread, the Mac Pro 'suffers' from inrush current that can knock out smaller UPS, and people that have tried to use 500-900VA units got into a lot of trouble and had to upgrade.
No one can know the total system watts used other than use a KILLAWATT on the power cord.
Look at the case, can an iMac dispel as much heat as easily? no. It is designed for lower power and much fewer components.
Core i7 has HyperTransport and Turbo boost for one thing. Apple had a huge coding problem with audio (incl iTunes and others), flash and Nehalem based systems. High cpu temperature and lost processor cycles and performance.
The 2010 Mac Pro can do more for the same, and DDR3 lowered heat and watts noticeably.
There are sites where you can plug in various components and get an idea of how large a PSU would be needed. Try one of those, too. PSU efficiency, and there is "overhead" needed for the motherboard chips and to run PCI Express for graphics, Firewire, etc. It all adds up.
Apple's example is low-end system configuration, the chart says CPU MAX, not SYSTEM (but then, most everything on hardware requirements lately needs a grain of salt).
    Quad-core 2.66GHz configuration:
One 2.66GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon "Nehalem" 3500 series processor,
    3GB memory (three 1GB 1066MHz DDR3 ECC DIMMs),
    640 GB Serial ATA 3 Gb/s 7200-rpm hard drive,
    18x double-layer SuperDrive,
NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 with 512MB of GDDR3 memory
APC we know, whether PowerMac 2.0DP from 2003 or Quad G5, or Mac Pro, that 1500VA is strongly recommended.

  • Language Monitors and Bi-directional Printing: What functionality is lost when disabling? What else uses them?

Server OS: Windows 2008 R2 Standard
Function: Primary Domain Controller and Print Server
Clients: All are running Windows 7 Pro 64-Bit SP1
We're considering disabling the HP Universal Print Driver Language Monitor and in-turn Bi-directional Printing due to potential server spooler instabilities, before we do this the IT Manager wants to be sure:
    1. What functionality is lost when disabling Language Monitors and Bi-directional Printing?
    2. What else uses Language Monitors and Bi-directional Printing them? In other words what may break?
    3. What specifically do Language Monitors and Bi-directional Printing provide?
    Thanks

    Alan (or anyone else):
We're testing disabling the language monitor/bidirectional printing for one particular printer.
Can I confirm this is the procedure for disabling a particular print queue's Language Monitor and Bidirectional Printing? -
    1. Locate the relevant Language Monitor registry key in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors
Either delete or rename the registry key (so it cannot be found), in my case: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Monitors\HPMLM121
I renamed it to have the date at the end (HPMLM121_2015-01-29).
    2. Inside the above registry key is a DLL file mentioned under the DRIVER reference. In my case it's called: hpmlm121.dll.
I searched the entire C drive on the server and this was only found in C:\Windows\System32. I moved this elsewhere out of C:\Windows and also renamed the DLL too.
Therefore preventing Windows from being able to find/use it.
    3. I then unticked Bidirectional Printing Support in the Printer Properties Ports tab of the printer in question.
    4. Lastly either restart the server (or stop/restart the Spooler service).
I've done all this and the HP Print Notifications for Replace Cartridge etc... are still active.
    Any idea why this is?
    Thanks

  • Multi Language support for lost password management in OAM

We are trying to implement lost password management with multi-language support. We have updated lpm_changepwd.xsl for UI changes. Some of the text on the password change screen come for the lpm_changepwd.xsl. How can we have the text on the password change screen in multiple language?
    Thanks.

Was able to do it by adding new files to the shared folder and updating the style in the lang folder to point to the new files.

  • Lost Chinese Language After Update

    G'day,
I recently bought a 7230 while living in China and downloaded and installed the Ovi program for my PC.  On running Ovi, with my phone connected via USB, I saw that there was an update available for the phone so I went through the update process. I have now lost all of the Chinese language options.
It is a major annoyance as I get a lot of texts in Chinese and, although I can't type in Chinese, I need to be able to send text from my phone to people who may not be able to read English.  I have read that it isn't possible to install a language onto the phone, which seems silly, to say the least, but is it at least possible to install an updated ROM for this region?
    Kinda peaved!!!

The phone you bought is most likely a 'grey-import' intended for a market elsewhere than China, and the person who unofficially imported it added the Chinese language pack to make it look legitimate without caring that you would lose that language in any update.
As Farby states, the only legimate way to have it added back is to ask a Nokia service point. For future reference, it is best to check these things when buying phones because this kind of thing becomes more and more common - the big problem is that if you phone genuinely isn't one intended for sale in your country, then the Nokia warranty won't be valid.

  • First generation apple tv has lost its main menu bar on top of screen.  Also I am currently in language choice and my remote seems to be locked, is that possible and if so how do you unlock it?

first generation apple tv has lost its main menu bar on top of screen.  Also I am currently in language choice and my remote seems to be locked, is that possible and if so how do you unlock it?

You would need to go to an Apple Store (make an appointment) and take the phone, her father's original invoice when the phone was purchased, and a copy of his death certificate. Only with these will Apple unlock it. If you can't get these, the phone is permanently unusable.
