Lost libraries on my ipad w/retina display

ok this is what happened. I have and iPad approximately 2 .5 years old with retina display 30 gb.
so I was trying to get rid of this audio book that showed up in my iTunes music library. I high lighted the book and the system asked me if I wanted to delete the playlist I clicked yes, mistake all music disappeared along with the audio book. At the same time the new system update keeps trying to update I keep canceling in hopes of going back to my purchased music to download my music again. So I'm checking my pc to see if the music is still there it is but everything is checked marked. I look down at my iPad and the system update is still asking me to update so I click yes . It comes back and reads I need to restore my libraries before I can continue. I click ok. I look back at my pc and look down again at my IPad and the screen is black with the Apple logo and the status bar is moving right along showing my system is updating.. Now I can't download my music that I purchased. I can play one song at a time. But if I have no Internet connection
I can't listen. Also I purchased a new song it didn't appear to download in this new updated so. I went check if I had any downloads available it said yes and it starts to down a movie I never purchased in the first place. Can I go back to the older os version and repair what I did wrong? Or is there a way I can add the music back?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try a reset:
Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple logo.

After updating my daughters iPad Mini retina display, safari crashes as soon as anything is entered in the search box. This started after IOS 8.0.2 update.
I have rebooted and reset the iPad. I have cleared the history and website data, but nothing has helped.

Try some basic troubleshooting:
(A) Try reset iPad

FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE
1. Turn off iPad
2. Turn on computer and launch iTunes (make sure you have the latest version of iTune)
3. Plug USB cable into computer's USB port
4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port.
DO NOT RELEASE BUTTON until you see picture of iTunes and plug
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...
Note:
1. Data will be lost if you do not have backup
2. If you did not do step 4 properly, start all over again.

HT1430 I got problem with imessage in my ipad 4 (retina display)

I used my SIM card in my ipad 4 (retina display) into my iphone 4 just to check the network line.
After that i change it back into my ipad 4.
I tried to imessage with my friends which is using apple device meaning to say they have their own imessage.
it dosen't working at all.
It says "not delivered".
. I have tried to switch on and off still not working.
I tried to restart the ipad 4 still not working .
Even i reset the networking and also tried to reset all setting as well.... Still not working..
Guys please help me! I run out of ideas!

I updated the latest OS 8.3 version 3 days before this issue happened. I took it to the apple authorised service centre but to my shock they told the display and unit has to be replaced which will cost me Rs.15000/-. It's just been one year and 7 days only since i bought my iPad,i.e, just 7 days out of warranty period only.I don't find any fault with the hardware neither no physical damage is there. Need help to sort out this issue.

I want to use an IPad (w/retina display-newest) in my church hooked up to a projector

I want to use an IPad (w/retina display-newest) in my church hooked up to a projector and shown on a screen. I'd like to do it wirelessly as the projector will be installed in the ceiling. I am not sure exactly what I would need to get this set up. I do not have wifi at church or cellular but would be getting the iPad (not yet purchased) with wifi only. If I use Apple TV to hook up the projector to, would it need wifi to work if I will only be using the ipad for documents, worksheets (much like what a school/professor would use) or other things that an app could do (draw a line, etc.)

Epson projectors have such a feature, so if you're going to buy a new projector, you might start with their units. The app is described here:

and there's a projector compability list linked from the very bottom of the page. There may be other projector manufacturers with similar apps, but I don't know for sure. All will probably also require a local WiFi network set up, though said network should not need Internet access if that's an issue for you.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

ipad 4 retina display is slow after iOS 8, also upgrade to iOS 8.0.1 i think and safari is slow, animations are slow, and i can't restore it to iOS 7, there it was great. i mean its like my iphone 4 with iOS 7 in its best days. i hope no to get stuck again, i mean please let me go to the iOS 7)).
also I've got message from apple that im not authorised to post this message, so if it goes online i think after many years of apple desktop and mobile i am done with it))).

Upgraded my ipad4 from ios6 to iOS 8 because the new WSJ app required it. HUGE MISTAKE!!!!!!! I can maybe understand some apps being slower but not Safari or Chrome. Apple must be throttling back the ipad4 processor even more with ios8 to force an upgrade to the next gen iPad whenever it arrives.

IPad 4 (retina display) charging issue

When trying charging my ipad 4 (retina display) whilst using it at the same time, the battery doesn't charge... It just decreases. It's plugged into the wall using original lead and my ipad is only 3 weeks old. Anyone have this issue? Or know why it's happening. It's not like I'm playing games or doing anything crazy with it, just on google and it drains.
It's really bugging me.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have no problem with my other apple products my older ipad2 and my current iphone5.

Is it necessary to have 64GB for the iPad with Retina display.

I am interested in getting the iPad with Retina Display. I wonder if 32GB is enough, on the iPad 1st generation 16 GB was fine, but with double the resolution I wonder if I should double the size.

The higher resolution is hardly the overwhelming factor that contributes to reduction of storage capacity on the iPad. It is the number of apps, movies, TV Shows and things like that that take up the storage.
I have a 64GB iPad 3 with 170 apps, 2 HD movies, a couple of TV shows, 900 + photos, about 350 songs, several magazines in Newsstand and I have used about 21GB of the storage on the device.
IMO - the retina display is spectacular and well worth it.

Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:
