Lost my Apple link to Apple website downloads in Dock
Yesterday, I dragged the @ button from dock to trash by mistake and cannot get this back.
I also now have upgraded to Leopard but would really want the button back.
Can anyone help please?

go to apple.com/downloads and then drag the apple logo that appears next to the website address to the dock

On the apple web site when going to the down load screens
I am getting all the background java script information but don't get the option to down load e.g. put in your email address and get the down load. The screen I am seeing is just a blue box. I have tried reducing all the security setting , switching off fire wall re-setting Internet options.I contacted the support desk but they said they have never seen this problem, but seeing the replies coming it cannot be true. Apple if you are monitoring this, it appears to be something to do with the type of security you have enabled before you can download. I am also having the same problem that I cannot get updates for my IPOD as that is screen also blank e.g can't put in my email address to get the download.
Note: The only one that does work on the applesite for me is the one where you download the quicktime&itunes together. This lets me put in my email and get the download but does not solve the IPOD updater problem. Apple please review what security you use for this method of downloading so all your customer can get the upgrades. -
I just got an iPad mini, when I try to upload my iPhone backup from my Mac i get the message to upgrade my iTunes. I can not seen to find where the download link is for iPads on apple website. Can anyone help?
The message is referring to iTunes on your computer, not the iPad : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
The built-in apps on the iPad can only be updated via iOS updates, so if your iPad mini is on iOS 6.0.2 then its up-to-date -

Every time I click something on web pages, like a link or a search bar, I get a pop-up. It's usually a semi-related pop-up, like on Apple websites, I get a lot of MacKeeper pop-ups. I let my younger brother use my laptop yesterday, and now this is happening. I think he might have downloaded something, but I don't know what it is called or anything so I don't know how to delete it.

i couldnt update my itune as it was coming up with a warning message so i uninstalled it and now it wont let me re install it? when i hit download off apple website it goes to thank you for downloading itunes but it didnt download.

I just got an iPod 4th generation and Im trying to sync my iTunes songs and books from my dell laptop on to my iPod but it says I need iTunes 10.6.3. So I tryed to download it on the apple website but it keeps saying that there is an error. I have already tryed uninstalling all Apple Inc. programs on my laptop then trying to install iTunes again but that has had no success what so ever. I have started to get very frusterated with this . Hopefully someone can help. I would really appreciate it. Any suggestion?

Hi i haven't updated my iDVD seen 2005 and to get the new one i need 7.0.4 first and i downloaded it from the apple website and when i go into the updating process its says "An eligible iDVD application was not found in the location /Applications." why
Because you need to buy iLife 08 or newer on DVD first. If you're using iDVD 05, you probably have a PowerPC Mac and can't use iLife 11.

I purchased Microsoft Office for Mac through the Apple website.. I have downloaded all from the disk into my Mac, no problem with all the other Word etc, but Outlook is asking for the key number: I have put it in but its obviously not the right one...???? In the box with the disk came the product key, have put it in and it doesnt work. Please help..x
unfortunately - you can not. you can't even buy outlook by itself at microsoft's own website.
does it have to be outlook? maybe you can get away with using something else that's outlook compatible.
how about trying Thunderbird for Mac OS?
or maybe you can call apple and let them know you purchase the wrong version - they might give you a break and just pay the difference for the home and business version.

I have an Intel Desktop iMac and I am upgrading from Tiger to Snow Leopard. I keep getting an error when it tries to load the Mac OS X update combined. It says that it was corrupted during download. Have try loading from Apple website Mac OS X V10.6.7 upgrade combined but it still won't do it? Any other suggestions. The printer is not working either - I am not sure if they are connected. Everything else is fine.
Please excuse, but I have to ask an obvious question: Did you already update using the Snow Leopard Retail install DVD? (You must do this first; 10.6.7 is just an update if you already have 10.6.) Are you, then, trying to update from whatever version was on the install DVD to 10.6.7?
Otherwise, I'd keep trying. The 10.6.7 Combo is a huge update. -

I have tried to dowload the newest itunes for IOS7 twice now but every time I go back to my itunes it doesnt show up. I check for updates and it tells me that its up to date but its not. Everytime I plug my phone in which is updated to the IOS7 it tells me to go to the apple website to download it.

I am trying to download an iWork 09 manual from the Apple website but all I get is a big plain black window. I am following the download instructions very carefully. I know I have the most recent version of Adobe Reader. Using Safari, when I try to "Save As", I get a message saying "cannot export". What am I doing wrong??
Turns out this is an overall problem....any PDF I try to download on line turns up the same plain black page. Doesn't matter whether it is what I tried to download mentioned above, or if it's the latest power bill from our utility company. An UGLY black screen!! I have it set up that downloaded PDF documents should open in Preview.
On the other hand, any PDF documents in my computer files open with no problem.
Prior to installing Lion, most of my activity lately has been converting AppleWorks documents to Pages and, if that doesn't work, I convert to PDF. Other than that, I haven't been fooling around with any settings.
Once again, I appreciate your input....any other suggestions?
