Lost my apps after update

I lost all my apps after I did the update through the PC Companion. The contacts, messages, email and all that was restored through the restoring function in the PC Companion. Can't I get my apps back?

That's a bit odd but
Settings > accounts > google (add your gmail account) > open the playstore > download any app > give it some time it might start downloading all your apps if not you can
either
1) look for all the apps from your phone
or
2) on your computer sign in to the playstore and send the apps to your phone (playstore > sign in > my apps > install )

Audiobooks will download to the Music app on an iPad - when you have audiobooks on the iPad you should get an Audiobooks option under the More button at the bottom of the Music app.
Note that audiobooks are currently a one-time only download from the store, so you may want to copy it to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases (File > Devices > Transfer Purchases if you have iTunes 11 on your computer) so that you can take a backup of it - it should copy over to the Books part of your computer's iTunes library

I did a reset of my phone yesterday and now when I go to purchaed to download my paurchsed tabs there is nothing there.
I see them in my ipad but they are not in my itunes app section either.
I searched for one in the app store and it usually said "open" or had the cloud icon with the little arrow to downlaod again (free). But none of that shows up at all this time. All the apps that I'm missing show up in the pp store for me to buy again like I never purchased them at all!
What's going on?
I'm missing a ton of apps!

I just wanted to add this information to my post:
I have purchaed, free and paid, 618 apps.
In my phone apps to add to my phone when I plug it in my computer only 266 apps show up.
In my itunes "puerchased list" only 266 show up.
Thank God I have not updated my ipad. There I went to my "purchased" under the ALL list in the app store and there I do see my 618 apps!
Where did my other 352 apps go? Which many were paid.
I want my apps back.

Hi,
You cannot. It's not supported by Apple actually, so if you downgrade they cannot help you.
However, make sure that all your apps are not in a different page, so keep swiping to the left just in case they are hidden at a first glance.
You can use the App store app to download all your purchased items.

Did you fail to make suer they were on your computer in itunes before updating?

No problems here but you can re download the FB app from the App Store right on your iPhone.

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Then reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Pull down on the middle of home screen screen ( not from the top ! ) and you will get the old spotlight search that was previously available by scrolling the home screen right....

It sounds like you are trying to find the Personal Hotspot option in your Settings. You were close. The option is directly under Settings, and not in the Cellular section of Settings:
Go to Settings > Personal Hotspot

May I ask how come i cant download apps after updated to ios6? Is it any problem during the updating? It show i have to change my county to Malaysia but I already change to Malaysia still cannot download? It stil show the word i have to change my country.

Do a reset (Hold Sleep/Wake and Home buttons about 10 secs or more till Apple logo appears, ignore the Slide to Power Off that appears)
Note: You will not lose any data.
Settings > iTunes & App Stores > Apple ID > sign out and sign in again.

My iPhone 4 lost all apps after iOS 6 update, and can't reinstall them!

After updating to iOS 6, I can't install apps I've bought before.. I can only open them through App Store.. Stupid!!
And safari can't ever find any web pages when on wifi...
Seems like iOS 6 is having some bugs after reading this forum and by my own experience..

I have a similar problem. None of my App Icons are visible. I rebooted Iphone, PC and wireless router, I did a sync with iTunes (With "Sync Apps" checked, but it doesn't seem to go through that step), both through wi-fi and with USB cable........no success with any of these.
When I go into my settings, I can see that the phone knows about these apps. I get see the settings for them and the amount of storage they're using.
I'm thinking I'll use the Restore function in iTunes.....but I'm afraid that might make things worse!!
