lost my contact on contact list but when you go to whatsapp and you Brodcast a massege all the contacts are there. need help on this issue

you can restore them if you had them backed up over icloud
or check if there's any left on your sim card (settings > mail, contacts,... > import from sim card)
do you, perhaps, have them saved on another phone?

I updated my phone to the new ios 8.2 and after installing the update my contacts were gone. I didn't have them backed up to icloud. How do I get them back?

If you did a clean install then you have to manually import contacts from the sim. Try this guide to import sim contacts easily on ios 8.
OR
Try going into settings ---> Mail,Contacts,Calendars ---> Import SIM Contacts.

As I remember i never set a pasword and even if I have one pas for mos of the things but its not working. Why apple have to set a pasword for me, and why the haven't let the chance to reset the pas if forgoten? If someone have any clue how to fix this please let me know.

if you cant remember the password of your back-up encryption, you can't back it up

It never happened to me, but try to Reset the iPhone by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears and ignore the red slider.

Now, you stated that you have reached out to technical support and spoke with a tier two technical support representative. At this time, what actions or troubleshooting steps were taken? Are you aware if a ticket with our network technicians was ever created? As well, have you ever previously had an iPhone and are you aware if the users that are unable to message you are using iMessage?

I lost all my phone contacts after updating my iPhone 4 to iOS5. It's not just contacts, my photos, messages, mail and everything is gone. I did the back-up thing on iTunes too before I updated the iOS. The only thing that restored was the apps. Is there anyway to get this back?

I wait more than a week, but no reply.
I have purchased invoice and iphone package to confirm this phone is not stolen.

After update iOS7

After update iOS7- my husband's and my phones synced. So he deleted all of my contacts off his phone - and they deleted off mine. So I tried to restore my phone from my computer back up - still none of my contacts. Just his.

This would seem to mimic the problems i am having with my car interface-
After updating to iOS7 I find that my iPhone 5 has connection issues with the audio system in my 2013 Mercedes ML350. When first plugged in the phone switches the audio system to the iPhone input and begins to play iTunes which it always did, however it resets the connection every ten seconds or so making the interface unusable. It also takes over the audio system so that when I switch to radio for example, which with iOS6 put the iTunes player in pause and switched to the radio, now the radio will play for a few seconds and then when the phone connection resets the phone takes control away from the radio.
Not sure if this is an iOS7 bug or if something in setup needs to be different. It is very annoying however and because the phone takes control I can no longer charge it in the car.
Basic phone functions all work through bluetooth and are fine.
