Lost my disks with my serial number
I have always registered my software. Is there away to retrieve my serial number?? for FinalCut 2 Suite??
This happened when I went to Montreal and had my disks in my suitcase. I guess someone in Security helped themselves to my FinalCut disks and my Disks for my 17' macPro.
The Disks is not a problem since I have someone in the same building who has a set. At least this way I can use my own serial number.
Apple has been known to provide replacement serial numbers ... IF they're in a good mood and you can prove you owned a legitimate copy of the software.
You may not recall, but the serial numbers are NOT on the discs themselves. They're printed on stickers attached to the front of the booklet titled "Installing Your Software" (unless you removed them and stuck both stickers on the discs).

Serial numbers are meaningless when it comes to tracking. The ONLY means of tracking is Find my iPod. If you didn't have it, then you can't track it. -

How to reinstall a disk--with no serial number
My Photosop Elements 9 program recently has been sending me "disk error" messages. Today I uninstalled it, planning to reinstall it. i have the disk, in a clear case--with absolutly no information about a serial number. Unfortunately, I apparently did not register the disk. Now, to reinstall, I need a serial number. What's the process now of being able to reinstall?

Lost Photoshop disk- not got serial number
We have 1 Photoshop license that we have paid for but we have misplaced the disk, is there any way we can get the serial number to install it on a computer? any help would be appreciated.

The serial # will only help you if you think you have found the iPod. You can compare your serial number to the # on the iPod. Other than that, the serial number won't assist you in finding it any other way.

If you purchased the software on a DVD and your current computer does not have an optical drive then you can copy the installation files to a USB drive on a computer which does contain an optical drive. -

Soyouca how did you install Photoshop Lightroom? Please uninstall the current installation using the uninstaller located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.
Once Photoshop Lightroom is removed please download a fresh copy of the installation files from Adobe - Lightroom : For Macintosh. The update contains the full installer so please download the latest version of Photoshop Lightroom 5.

I reloading LR onto a new lap top. I have the orginal LR 1 disk with correct Serial #. I have downloaded it, every time I try to open the program I get the "Do you want to buy or I have a Serial Number Page". I fill out the page include the serial # accept terms and enter. All fine and good seems normal. When I try to open LR I get the damn "Do you want to buy" page. I do I get past this BS?
What version of LR are you trying to activate? A serial number for LR 1 will not activate LR versions 2 - 5, but it will enable you to purchase LR 5 at the upgrade price and activate it.

I guess no but they can't use it because most likely they restored it and the name of your find my iphone will disappear on your computer even if it is on because it does not have your name anymore.
