My iPad is asking me to verify my iCloud password for backup purposes. I have forgotten my iCloud password. How do I get it sent to me by iCloud please?

It sounds like you have changed your Apple ID which you use with iTunes. If so there are several places you may need to update it as outlined in this article.

That's Activation Lock. You will need to remember the Apple ID and password you used to set up the phone.
If you can't remember them, you can go to iforgot.apple.com to try to recover the information.
If you are the original owner of the phone & have proof of purchase, you can try calling Apple to see if they can assist also.

My husband changed the Apple ID on our computer. For some reason, iCloud has the old Apple ID and it won't let me change it. I've been locked out of my iPad twice and had to restore it because of iCloud. How do I change the Apple ID (not the password)?

In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

I have the same problem. I changed my email address with itunes, & the icloud website knows it too. but the icloud on my iphone still has the old one & wont allow me to change it. Your MobileMe address is an Apple ID and you can reset its password at http://appleid.apple.com - however MobileMe itself closed last July.
