Lost my install cd

I lost my installation cd and I wonder if someone knows if my usb-key will work with any downloaded Logic 7 pro. Since I got my logic 7 pro from work and now I don't work for them anymore I have no receipt and therefor can not call apple support.

I purchased an upgrade from Logic 7 to Logic Studio but have recently realized I lost my Logic Pro 7 installation DVD. I still have my USB Key though. I may need to do a reinstall soon. Would I be able to go about reinstalling Logic 8 without reinstalling 7 again?
If so, how?
Thank you.

That doesn't sound like a wise thing to have done.
At this point having lost your software purchase, the quickest way will be to purchase and install it from the Mac App Store. It is not expensive and can then be installed on multiple Macs using the same Apple I.D.

Was that Win 7 update from Lenovo, or Microsoft?  If Lenovo, it should have installed those missing features. If it was from Microsoft, you have to manually install the Lenovo drivers and software.
The easiest way to do that is to first install ThinkVantage System Update and run it.  It should download and install the other drivers and apps.  I'm running Win 7 pro 64 on my T400 - a MS upgrade clean install, then TVSU installed the Lenovo stuff.  Everything works.
Use the "SUPPORT" button at the top of this page, then "Download drivers and software" enter T400, install TVSU and you should be off to the races.

  • I lost my  install dvd for my Macbook pro 17" 2.53 i5. How can I get that?

I lost my  install dvd for my Macbook pro 17" 2.53 i5. How can I get that?

You can get replacement System Install & Restore CD/DVDs from Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 - for a nominal S&H fee.
You'll need to have the model and/or serial number of your Mac available.
If you're not in the US, you may need to go through the regional Apple Store that serves your location to find the contact number. Here's a list of links to all of those - http://store.apple.com/Catalog/US/Images/intlstoreroutingpage.html  Another resource:  International Support Phone #s.

  • HELP!!!        I LOST MY INSTALL CD PHOTOSHOP CS2 !!!

    Dear reader,
I've just reinstalled Windows on my PC, and have to reinstall photoshop CS2 as well. But, I've lost my install disc. I've called Adobe to get a new install disc, but they only have CS3 and up :(
Is there anyone who can copy the CD for me, because as Adobe said, this would the only option left, otherwise I must upgrade my license to CS4 :-(
Thank u! Please let me know

To answer Buko's less than helpful post...
As a legitimate license holder that just needs the media, I'd second Dave's suggestion - - but I would not recommend those
paid sites when there are other places to get it for free. Wherever you find a copy (even if from a good Samaritan on this forum), be certain to run a full scan for nasty bugaboos on the media and then again on your system after install.

  • If you lost your install CD's for an iMac7,1. Can you use Snow Leopard to reboot/install?

If you lost your install CD's for an iMac7,1. Can you use Snow Leopard to reboot/install?

    Best answer; see AnaMusic above.
Will SL do? Yes, provided you use the SL retail disc. A grey disc from another Mac will not work.
    A few considerations -
Be warned that printer drivers, and scanner drivers in particular will almost certainly need updating for SL. That could be a problem if the printer or scanner is more than a couple of years old.
Many third party applications (and some Apple ones) may need updates for SL (Adobe particularly), so check with the vendors for compatability before you upgrade.
You'll need Rosetta to run PPC apps like Appleworks and many MS Office or Adobe versions. Ensure you select it from the 'optional installations' when installing SL.
Note also that any bundled applications that came with your Tiger original discs (iLife in particular) are not included on retail OS versions.

  • New PC lost origional install disk and unable to install using download

I got a new PC and have lost my install disk forr my Tunston T2.  I tried to install using the download of version 4.1.4 from the website but no luck.  When I try to open the program I get an error message "Palm Desktop Application has encurred a problem and needs to close".
I tried it without the device connected and with it connected and get the same error.
My PC has an Intel Core2 Quad CPU Q9400 @ 266GHZ with a 500G drive.  I am running Windows XP Pro.
Does anyone have a clue how I can get it up and running?

Sounds like your data crashing out palm desktop.
It's either your calendar or contacts causing the issue.
    Steps to fix
    1. Navigate to C:/program files/palm/Hotsync ID
    2. In that folder locate another folder called datebook
    3. Remove datebook.dat file from there and place on desktop
    4. Go to folder called Address
    5. Remove address.dat file from there and place on desktop
    6. Attempt to open palm desktop
    IF it opens continue
    7. Go to tools/options and change the start up application from datebook to memos
    8. Navigate to C:/program files/palm/Hotsync ID
    9. In that folder locate another folder called datebook
    10. Grab the datebook.dat file off of the desktop and place in the folder
    11. Choose to overwrite the file
    12. Go to folder called Address
    13. Grab the address.dat file off of the desktop and place in the folder
    14. Choose to overwrite the file
    15. Relaunch palm desktop
    16. Go to tools/options/tools
    17. Select fix corrupted records.
    18. Close palm desktop re open
Everything should work fine. If you want you can then change the start up application back to datebook.

    :robotmad:

The only thing you'll need to install are the drivers, which can be found on this website - go to Support, then Downloads. You might also want to download Nomad Explorer from the same site, which'll let you organise your files on the player.
    Hope that hel

  • Help! I lost my Install disks!

I lost my Install disks and need to reinstall my System files. Any ideas where I can find a used set?????
    Powerbook G3, Pismo   Mac OS X (10.4.1)

    Dahn:
    Welcome to Apple Discussions.
If you are talking about the original restore disks you can call Apple Customer Service with your serial number and they will send you new ones for a fee. Or you can look on eBay for a Mac OS 9.0.2 (Mac OS ROM 3.5). If you also need the AHT Disk the PowerBook 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.2.1, 1.2.2 and 1.2.3 disks will work.
If you need Tiger, as Tom indicated, you will need a Full Retail Version which you can purchase from the Apple Store or online suppliers, or on 4 CDs from applerescue.com
    Good luck.

Ask the store for a local Macintosh Users Group / Club... maybe someone there can help you. You might check pawn shops in the area for a machine that has a full set of disks. Apple will sell/mail you a set. I don't know of anyplace to legitimately download them... For what its worth any commercial (e.g. full retail version) install of OS X on disk should work for your machine.

  • TS2570 I lost my instalation CD'S of macbook pro13'' mid 2010 model
