Lost my Iphone 4g, hooked up old 3gs, can't get messages from people who have me registered with ichat
Anyone who I had previously used iChat with, can no longer send me texts now that I have had to downgrade back to a 3Gs.

My carrier (Rogers) says they have nothing they can do about it.

Traded in my iPhone for a different brand of phone. I had no idea that I had to sign out of iMessage before doing this. Now, my old phone is gone and my new phone cannot receive texts from people who have iphones and had me as a contact before. They try to send an iMessage and I have no way to receive an iMessgae now. On some server somwhere my AppleID still tells people they should send me iMessages. What is the solution to this issue? Deleting my AppleID would work to solve this issue, but I cannot ever delete the ID? What can Apple do for this?
If you did not erase your apps and data before getting rid of your old phone, try using Find My Phone and erasing everything remotely. See if this works.

Be aware, changing your Apple ID password doesn't always work, & can take up to 45 days to work.
It's either that, or you call AppleCare & have them fix. -
Lost my iphone dont know my IMEI number tried to get it from itunesby clicking about and the Control key but there is one imei and i have 2 phones backed up on my itunes is there a way to know which one is the right one? and is there another way to find my phone and its offline so i cant use find my phone! Help

I seem to receive text msgs from people who don't have an iPhone but contacts that do, i don't always receive their msgs.

Has anyone else had trouble with update 6.1.2 for I phone? After the update, I can't get back on my network (password is correct), ICLOUD doesn't transfer my downloads, nothing seems to work. It saved my calandar and address book, but lost all of my apps and music (except for a few songs, figure that out) and I can't get them back. Any suggestions?
I had this problem post 6.1. Not sure if it was a coincidence, but I'd just recently changed my password after being convinced I'd been hacked, due to being told I was entering my password wrongly, repeatedly by iCloud / iTunes. It turns out my iCloud account on my Settings -> Mail, Contacts and Calendars was listed as Inactive. Putting in my details, turning off Contacts over iCloud (thus deleting them) and turning them back on again, repopulated my contacts from iCloud with numbers attached to them.

When I upgraded to Yosemite, I lost all of my bookmarks in Safari on my MacBook Air, iPhone 6, and 2nd or 3rd generation iPad. I tried to retrieve them by going into my backups in Time Machine, and I could not restore from the Time Machine back up of Safari. Help me to know what I can do?
Hi - click on the address bar and check in the drop down menu. Some bookmarks are there.

I have the Iphone 4 but before this I had a different phone and had blocked someone from contacting me via calls/texts. Unbeknownst to me, when I got the Iphone 4, that I cannot block Imessages. I have turned off Imessage for the time being but I'm seriously considering changing my phone number. If I change the number with my carrier and turn Imessage back on, what do I have to do to ensure that any previous messages don't come through and any future messages cannot be sent?
