If you are in the U.S. and have iTunes 10.3 or later installed,
read here  >Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
If you are not in the U.S. and you didn't backup your iTunes purchases, you will have to re purchase.

You have a backup of your computer, or at the very least of your iTunes media, correct?
Simply copy your backup of your iTunes media into the iTunes library on your new computer.
Connecting and syncing your device to the new computer without first recovering your iTunes media is a really, really, really bad idea.  iDevices are designed to ONLY sync with one computer.  When you plug your device into a new computer, it will wipe all media on the device when it syncs.  The only media you may be able to salvage and transfer to the new computer would be anything bought directly on the device.
If you do not have a backup of your iTunes media, then you will want to either look at a way (using software from a third party company)  to either extract the media from you iDevice or your old computer (assuming the hard drive is not toast).

  • I lost my IPhone need your help with a question ty

I just lost my iphone on Nov. 17th, 07 and i just wonder does iphone has Satellite positioning function, if it does can i use serial and IMEI number to find where it is or they are both not related, any suggestions will be great thank you for paying attention.

What is really unfortunate is that, if the phone is turned on, the carrier DOES know (within some area) where the phone is located. All carriers have a system for doing so, whether it is GPS enabled, or triangulation based on distance from the cell towers.
Unfortunately, AT&T is not in the business of helping its customers track down lost phones.
    Oh so frustrating.

  • I lost my iPhone Need Your Help !!

I lost my iphone 5 yesterday but I have some infomation that I want to ask and it might helps or not..
    1. my iPhone was stolen by someone and he\she turned it off..
    2. my iPhone is using iOS 7 beta6 (latest Version of iOS 7)
    3. my iphone had passcode on it also Restriction is on and I locked the Location Service (it's On) and Change Account..
    4. I have my iCloud and Find My iPhone (On) and I also sent a Lost Mode to my lost iPhone as well
    5. I Can't track my iphone because it is off ( Find My iPhone said it's offline )
    6. He\She might remove my sim card
So is there any chance to find it or it will be gone 4ever?
Thanks in Advance for everyone that help me.

The only way to locate/disable/erase any lost/stolen iPhone/iPod Touch is through Find My Phone or a similar app. However, this requires that Find My Phone be setup/activated, on your phone, before it was lost/stolen. You would then login at iCloud.com & try to locate it. This requires the phone be turned on & have an Internet connection. There is no other way to locate a lost/stolen iPhone. Apple can't/won't help you, nor will your carrier. Report the loss to the Police, your carrier & Insurance company. Change all of your passwords.
If your carrier offers Blacklisting & they Blacklist the phone, it will be unusable as a phone.
If locked with a passcode, all a thief or whoever finds it has to do is force the phone into recovery mode & restore it. While this deletes all data on the phone, it also removes the passcode so the phone can then be used as a phone or touch.

  • Past Itunes Purchases, Help.

I'm trying to download past purchases from my iTunes account onto my computer. It's telling me, "You can download past purchases on this computer with just one Apple ID every 90 days. This computer can be used with a different Apple ID in 75 days." Do I have to wait 75 days before I can redownload my music i've purchased back onto my own computer?

You can redownload iTunes purchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store

  • I lost my iphone. can you help me locate it without "locate my iphone" ?

I lost my iphone. Can anybody tell me what solution I have for finding him without "find my iphone" function beacause I don't have it activated.

I say that they should have more ways for block and track ( find ) your device!
It's truly astounding that you continue to trash Apple for not providing a backup plan to cover your laziness and incompetence.  They not only provided a useful and effective way to track a lost phone, but also included a reminder to activate in when you first activated your phone.  YOU chose to ignore or not bother.  Nothing is idiot proof.

  • Ive lost my iphone, can someone help?

so ive lost my iphone, over the weekend, im trying to see if someone from apple can further assit me

No. Apple and this forum cannot locate the iPhone for you.
You have to do it yourself:
    1. Is Find My iPhone setup in iPhone?
    2. Does your iPhone has Internet access (using Wi-Fi/Cellular)?
If both above are there, you might be able to locate it:
    Use a computer browser

  • IPad Itunes Purchasing Help

Hey all. I just got a new iPad 3 for my bday (16gb black) it has the ability to do data but I have not started the data plan yet and am using it as purely wifi until I get the plan. I got this present while on vacation and I used my girlfriends computer to put music on my new iPad. I am signed into my account and can download apps and previously purchased content on my Apple ID, but I can not rent movies or buy songs from my iPad. In my itunes account, Only my cvomputer is shown as a device authorized to purchase content. The iPad is not shown. How do I get the ipad to become an authorized device so I can download songs direct to iPad? When I try to download songs now, it just keeps asking for my password, over and over, never getting anywhere.
    Thanks for the help!
    Justin

  • TS1702 Ive recently replaced the mother board on my laptop and Ive lost all my itunes purchases. It says I have them but files can not be located. What can I do to retrieve them?

I can see names of music/video files but says I can't locate files. Is there a way to re-download the files. When I go to the list it says that I've already downloaded the items to this computer. They're lost. Please help. Thanks.

  • My Mac HDD failed and I lost all my iTunes purchases... anything I can do?

My two month old Macbook HDD failed and I lost everything (no I hadn't backed up yet)... all my iTunes music purchases went with the HDD... is there any way I can download them again?
    Regards
    Shane

The policy is normally you can download once and only once and you are supposed to back up your purchases. However Apple has been known to make exceptions if you state your case and have a good reason why you need to redownload. I would hope that because your new MacBook failed that would be a good excuse since it is completely reasonable to expect to have some time to arrange to get an external drive or whatever to backup as you wouldn't be expecting a drive failure on a new Apple machine.
    Good luck,
    Patrick

  • IPhone iTunes purchase error code

Attempting to purchase or update from iTunes, receiving error:  "Could not sign in: an unknown error has occurred", error 5002?

See troubleshooting steps for error 5002 here: http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3297.  There's also a thread on this here that may help: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4030601?start=0&tstart=0.

  • New computer, lost all previous itunes purchases

Recently I have had to have my whole computer wiped and start again.
Naturally this means that I have lost all my data.
Also, a large percent of my iTunes Store purchases were not on my iPod so when I went to transfer purchases, they weren't there! These include things like Louis Theroux TV episodes.
As you can I imagine I am pretty ticked off by this.
Can anyone tell me how to retrieve these purchases?

Have you failed to maintain a backup of your music? Terrible idea.
"PRODUCTS CAN ONLY BE DOWNLOADED ONCE; AFTER BEING DOWNLOADED, THEY CANNOT BE REPLACED IF LOST FOR ANY REASON. YOU SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR BACKING UP YOUR OWN SYSTEM"
