Like title says I never got any email when resetting my password. I did this account to write this message, because I want my old account back. This accounts password is 0000. I dont want to make new account. I will never ever gonna join to facebook. I just want my old account back. Btw, it took me four hours to make this far and post this never before asked question. Sorry my english. I must say this is the worse support I have ever had in my life. And I was teenager when internet born.

Did you visit this link https://www.spotify.com/us/password-reset/ already? What did it say after you put your e-mail address? Did it say it sent you a link to reset your password? If it said that the password reset link has been sent and you didn't get it, try to do it again or contact support here -> https://www.spotify.com/about-us/contact/contact-spotify-support/?contact . Don't worry, making a new account is still very easy if you can't make it with your old account. Hope this helps :)

    The thread was help full rajiv but i am still having some issue in the approch to follow:
    As per the thread we cannot use the Entity Adapter because:
    If you are thinking of using Entity Adapter on User form then it is not possible because whenever you change any value on User form, that will be updated in USR table without any Approval.
    So, if we go with the below appoach:
    *Event Handler Way:*
    Create Event Handler.
    You'll get OLD and NEW Values of that field.
    Capture those values and raise request for thsi Dummy RO with your code
    And use Error Handler to show Custom Message to Administrator that "Request Has Been Initiated for User Profile Modification".
    but i am having below doubts:
    1. If we are not having the Entiry Adapter then where we will do the mapping of fields that have been taken n the adapter?
    2. And how can i get the old value of the filed?

  • Old IMAC with 10.5.6 OSX. Forgot Administrator password. Started up from OSX install disc 1 and selected password reset from utilies in Installer. But HD icon doesn't show up. (Only install disc and admin root available:no good). What can I do?

    Old IMAC with 10.5.6 OSX. Forgot Administrator password (which I had already changed.) Followed instructions as per http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1274
    Started up from the original OSX install disc 1 and selected "Password reset" from "utilies" in Installer. But HD icon doesn't show up. (Only install disc and admin root available:no good as the support website underscores: Important: Do not select "System Administrator (root)". This is actually the root user. You should not confuse it with a normal administrator account.).
    What can I do?

    Not familiar with that version of OS X but try using Terminal and type in resetpassword. If that brings up a password reset screen is your original username shown?

  • Have an ipad, have been trying to seset my password, but when I do I never get an email back from apple to reset it.

    Have an ipad, cannot update because I forgotten my password. Have tried, but have never gotten an email back for Apple. There is another laptop in our home, and the icloud email address had been taken off of that laptop. My ipad has the same icloud address, is that keeping me from getting any email from apple?  My email address is not with icloud, but it always comes up with an icloud email  address. Any suggestions?

    If you aren't receiving the email (if you have a rescue email address on the account then that is the email address that you are likely to see for the reset email), and you can't reset the password by answering the account's security questions on http://iforgot.apple.com, then try contacting Support in your country, after confirming your id and that it's your account they should be able to reset the password.

    After a system failure, I got the gray screen with the question mark. I restarted from an external drive, and, from "Disk Utility" I ran both "disk repair" and "permissions repair" to the internal drive. There were several errors, but all were repaired. When I restarted from the internal drive I was asked for a user id and a password. I entered them, but were refused. Then, I followed the steps indicated in "Mac OS X: Changing or resetting an account password" in this forum: I started from the install DVD, changed the password, and restarted, but the system refuses my user and password, (the window shakes and blanks out the password field). I have repeated all the steps several times, but the system keeps refusing my login. When I start from the external drive I can see all my documents, files, folders, image, etc, in the internal disk.
    I will appreciate any sugestions in order to solve this problem. Thanks a lot.

    Hi, glad to know that your LaCie HD is OK. now if you follow the instructions for Silverkeeper, you will find that it will give you an option to copy your LaCie HD clone to your Mac's internal drive. I don't have Silverkeeper, so any info. I give is from the link I gave to you earlier.
    This part in particular ..
    Drag the volume icon for the drive you have started from to the Source field of SilverKeeper.
    Drag the volume icon for the drive your wish to clone to, to the Destination field.
    "Save SilverKeeper settings.
    Click Go, and wait until completion.
    When Backup is complete, quit SilverKeeper.
    Restart your Mac; don't press any keys; you should restart to your normal, original startup drive; if >there is a login prompt, login to account that has Admin privileges
    Open System Preferences - select Startup Drive control preference.
    Select the backup drive as the startup drive.
    Restart your Mac; you should then startup just as if you had started up from the original, but it >should be your backup drive. You should not be prompted for any OS X registration.

    When you have done this you will have an exact copy of your LaCie HD on your computer. Nothing else needs to be done after this - you just use your Mac!

  • I need a password reset from a VERY old defunct email address

    I am trying to play tracks from my library.
    Itune sis asking for a password inorder to authorise this PC to play the tracks.
    The account names that appear are old ones that I do not have access to their linked email accounts & I cannnot seem to get thru the DoB section of iForgot even when i enter the birthdays of everyone i know.
    I have given up on Itunes support as I get a different person with a different interpretaion of my requirements each time.
    This problem has arisen because Ive had my whole library trasferred to an ext hard drive, This should not pose any problems, and in the main has been quite straightforward, except for about 30% of my library that was purchased a long time ago with account names that my wife and i were using.
    I know what the account names are as Itunes shows them in the prompt that asks for the passwords.
    P L E A S E let there be somenbody out there who can help or even tell me how to phrase my predicament to apple so I can listening.

  • Password Reset From Installation DVD, Is This Secure?

    So one of my customers is looking into purchasing a few macbook pros. I just bought a 13 inch (mid 2009). I recently discovered that I can reset my root and admin account passwords all by inserting my install dvd.
    Is there a way to prevent passwords from being able to be reset using the install dvd? Or by any other reasonably simple method.
    It seems extremely insecure to have laptops that can be stolen or misplaced and all that needs to be done to access the data is to insert a common dvd disk.
    Am I looking at this wrong? This is just my first impression, I would love to learn how to look at this issue properly.

  • NEVER GET YOUR CELL SERVICE FROM BEST BUY

    Never again will I get my cell service through Best Buy, here's why.
    In Nov of 2012 I decided to change my cell service to AT&T. I went to the ATT store and to Best Buy in South Nashua, NH to investigate the price plans and cost of the phone. I was going to buy a Samsung Galaxy S3, (top phone at the time) everthing was exactly the same at the two stores except for one thing, the insurance. The insurance from BB had unlimited claims, a lower price and no deductible. The sales agent from BB noted the process worked as follows "You bring your phone in, we ship it out to be fixed and give you a loaner phone. The loaner phone will not necessarily be a S3 but one that is equal to it." This is what other friends of mine had told me too, and that was the reason I went to check out Best Buy. Since everything was equal I decided to go with Best Buy ONLY BECAUSE OF THE INSURANCE OFFERED.
    Now, March of 2014 I have a problem with my phone and it needs to go in for repair. I'm still under contract with Best Buy. I wait in line for at least an hour (did you know that you need to call ahead to make an appointment? I do now.), I tell the customer service guy my problem and he prepares the phone to be shipped out. Then he brings out the loaner. It's a Pantech P7040, a ghetto version of a black berry from 5 years ago. Not an Android phone, not a smart phone, not anywhere even close to what my Galaxy S3 is. I made note of this fact to the gentleman and he said it was the best they had for loaners. I then informed him that I USE my phone for work. Numerous apps in there that I really use EVERY day at work. I travel and my phone's apps are super important. We had some discussion about this situation that I would now be in and how the salesman informed me that I would be given a comparable loaner if I ever need to bring my phone in when they were selling me the service plan. This guy told me they used to do that but don't do that any more. I said that this does not weigh very favorably with my choices of whom to use to when renewing my contract. He told me that he didn't care. It's not his rules.
    I realize that you don't make the rules you only follow them but still, the salesman told me (and apparently many other people are complaining about this at BB) that I would get a "comparable loaner" to my phone. The customer service guy said that they stopped that policy back in November or December of last year. I told him that I realize policies change to maintain efficiency but I bought a specific service and they need to honor what they sold me. You can't sell a service and then not give the customer what you sold them because you no longer like that policy, you can change the policy with the new contracts you sell if you want. He told me "If you read the entire contract, it doesn't say it anywhere in there that they will give you a loaner phone." Ya that's fine, but the salesman told me they would, that's an oral contract and is binding in a court of law. He then told me that they didn't have to give me a phone at all. (That didn't help this situation) I then informed him that if I had come in here and was told that I would not have a phone for a week "I would #$@% explode!", "Considering the fact that I was told I would get a comparable loaner, and then told that I wouldn't get any". I also asked that since I was traveling when my phone broke, could I call ahead to the store to have them order a replacement that I can pick up when I come home. "No, we have to see the phone first and send it out."
    My repaired phone or possibly a replacement might be available by Wednesday. However, I leave for work again on Tuesday so I'm without my smartphone and stuck with this ghetto junker for over a week until I get back. This is not the service that I was sold and this is not the service that I was expecting. This wasn't one rogue salesman lying to customers to get sales, it was the company's policy to inform customers that they would get a comparable loaner phone. BB is liable to honor their oral contract with their customers. I would like my money back for the the service contract. I will NOT be back to BB to renew my cellular service. My intentions are to inform others that Best Buy salesmen will tell you what you want to hear in order to make a sale.

It sounds like your visit was less than ideal with the long wait and a store representative who was less than sympathetic. We strive to provide superior service and I very much regret that we didn't live up to that goa, or to your expectations of us.
    The loaner cell phone program and Geek Squad Protection (GSP) are separate things. Any of our customers were permitted to take advantage of a loaner phone if they needed one even if they did not purchase GSP. While some stores still have phones that can be provided as loaners, you were informed correctly that the program was discontinued last year. If you wish, you may obtain a prorated refund for GSP by visiting a Best Buy store with your original GSP purchase receipt. 
    I'm disappointed to read that this experience may influence your future shopping destination. It is my hope that you will one day give Best Buy another chance to win you over. Please know that I'm grateful that you wrote to us about this.

  • Cannot access my account No verification or password reset emails are being sent

    I tried to login to my best buy account and when I got to a verification entry screen I never received an e-mail with the verification code to access my account. I tried to reset my password, but I did not recieve an email for that either. I tried checking my spam folder and trash folder as well as all incoming emails, but no email was sent. Please help.

    With that said, generally we advise customers to check their email inbox, including spam, advertising, and trash folders due to filter settings that may be in place. As it seems you've already taken these steps, I would be happy to offer you a manual password reset from my end, which has been shown to resolve this issue for some customers.

    After upgrading to iOS7, my phone keeps bugging me to sign into my iCloud account when I can't remember my password. When I choose to resolve this, I never get the confirmation email back to reset my password and I've tried on my phone and on iCloud to reset my password but I never get the email to do so. Thus, I can't sign in and the pop-up asking me to sign in keeps popping up, it's driving me crazy! Has this happened to anyone and did you have to call technical support for this or did you find a work around?
