Lost my registration info for qt pro

I opened qt today to discover that my app is no longer registered and I don't know where the registration code is. Anyone know how to go about retrieving registration info?

Can't find my registration key for quicktime pro?

I have to go through a lot of searching in finding it under 2 accounts. It's just a lot easier getting it sent to me again rather trying to find it here where it should be easy to find, but not. It sure is not under my account history? Been like 5 or 6 years when I bought Quicktime Pro. But still should not make a difference in why it's not under account history. Can you please send me the registration code so I can have it registered on a new pc? Thanks.

This is a user to user forum: you aren't talking to Apple here and no-one on here can help you. I assume you've checked your back emails?
Apple's word on the subject says:
You can retrieve purchased registration keys with these steps:
Visit the Apple Online Store.
Click "Account" in the upper-right corner.
On the "Your Account" page, click "View Order History".
Enter your Apple ID and password.
Additional Information
You can only retrieve a lost QuickTime Pro key if you purchased it through the Web. In most cases, the key will be identical to the key you lost.
If you purchased your QuickTime Pro upgrade from another source, the key is not available for retrieval and you must purchase another key from The Apple Store.
If you have already tried this and cannot find it, you can only contact the Store and ask them.

How do I find the registration key for Quicktime Pro 7?

I bought QT7 in 2005 & following the links in various support documents all take me to dead ends. If I look at order history of my account it only goes back 18 months. There is mention of "downloadable software" section in accounts but that has gone, presumably replaced by the App Store. I am of course running Lion & want to unlock the Pro features on my MacBook Pro.

Sorry, no. We have the same problem of "lost" links to the software purchase history here in the USA. Fortunatally, someone came across this link in the support area and it appears to work for purchases made here at the US online store. However, the article containing the link I posted also states the following:
Outside Canada and the United States
If you purchased a QuickTime Pro key after 13 April 2001, contact the customer service number of The Apple Store . This number is available at the bottom of The Apple Store Web page for each region.
If you purchased a QuickTime Pro key from the QuickTime Web site before 13 April 2001, please consult your email or other records from that period for your key.

Believe others have tried contacting the US Customer Service number but were told to get the information form the Downloadable Software Purchases area for their account which, as we already know, no longer works. (In fact, the Customer Service people did not seem to even know that the old links were missing form our account pages or seem concerned about looking into fixing the problem.) While I don't hold out any hopes that you will fare any better, you can give it a try and at least ask if there is a similar external URL for people in other regions. I personally would also send formal QT feedback regarding the problem.

I'm looking for benchmarking information that compares recent-model Mac Pros against recent MacBook Pros. I'd also love to be able to compare the performance of both to my current dual 2.5-GHz PowerMac G5.

How do I enter registration code for Quicktime Pro?

I just bought Quicktime pro to install on my new imac. I cannot seem to find where to enter the registration code. My current version is QT X. I see from other forums that I should not delete X but still cannot seem to find how to do this. Please help.

I have entered my name and reg code accurately. There is no place to press enter so I am not sure where to go from here. Any help would be appreciated.
Pressing the "Tab" key enters the data as explained HERE.
In actual fact, I don't think Pro is installed.
If in doubt, try opening the "Properties" window or exporting a file. If you can do so, then the app is keyed for "Pro" use.

Activation (registration key) for QT Pro

i got the confirmation email for my purchase of Pro... but it did not contain any 20 digit registration key..... does that come in a later email?? it has been a couple hours since purchase...

Wrong registration info for iPhone

I registered my iPhone 4S through iTunes and submitted it before realizing that I accidentally put the wrong area code for the iPhone number entry. When I log into my Apple ID profile and look at the "Support Profile" account info, everything is fine. How can I correct the information that was submitted for the registration since the profile information is correct?

How long does it take to get Registration key for QT Pro?

I've gotten 2 emails. One, confirming my apple store purchase, and the other email telling my my credit card has been charged.
BUT, no email yet with the Registration key.
I ordered it about 18 hours ago.
When I check my status in my apple account, it says it was electronically delivered. But, I can't pull it up anywhere.

Insurance claim info for MacBook Pro

Hi all,
My laptop was lost / stolen whilst on an overseas holiday.
I am about to make a claim, and I was wondering what the insurance company does with the serial number?
Will they call apple and cancel anything on apple's end? So that way if the person who stole / found it could not use it, or log onto apple, get updates etc.

I have Logic 6 and 8 on my G5 but I need to install it into my Macbook.

Yes you need the LP8 serial number.
The XSkey is needed only if your Logic Studio(Logic Pro 8) is an upgrade from a previous version.

It seems to be successfully registered with "Quicktime 7 Pro" appearing under the inserted registration code but it is not showing in Applications folder and I do not know how to access it or what to do.
