i took some notes on my iphone 4s over the weekend and by sunday evening they were gone? how can i retrieve my latest notes?

if you have a backup you can restore. check in settings mail contacts and calendars to see which email account has the notes and look there

If you backup with iTunes and you restored from the backup and the notes were gone, then there is no where to retrieve them from unless you have another backup that contains those notes.
Launch iTunes on the computer and go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices. You will see a window with all of your backups listed in it.
If you see a recent backup that you are certain contains the notes that you need, recover deleted notes from iPhone backup.
If your note is gone from iCloud.com there is only a few ways to possibly recover it.
The first things I would check is a iCloud Backup, a iTunes Backup, or a 3rd party email that may have contained the note. To restore from a iCloud or iTunes backup follow this
link. This article explains how to restore a device from either back up.
Note if you have backed up since the note went missing, you will not have the note on the backup. Make sure you do not back up if trying to restore from a back up as this will
back up the content without the note.
To get to the "Set up assistant" on an iOS device, you must go to Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content and Settings. Once the phone restarts, you will be at the "Set up Assistant"

Hello I use my notes in my iphone all the time. I recently backed up all my notes on my imac in mail. or at least I thought I did. They were in my mail. Yesterday I synced my iphone again to erase some songs. A couple hours later I look at my iphone notes and there werent any! I dont know if they were erased in the sync or when I wasnt looking at my phone and accidentally deleted them all at once or what.??    They were there for months now there gone. I plugged my iphone in and went to my mail where I thought they would still be. Much to my surprise they were gone from there too. Maybe they erased immediately when I plugged in my iphone and there werent any notes. I dont know. But is there any way to get them back?   I have hundreds of important notes in there that I need. Please Help

Update.   So I was told I could plug in my iphone, Hold control and click and select restore to backup. Thje only problem with this is the only backup options it gives me are from last year. I thought it was supposed to backup with every sync. I have definitely synced a few times since last year 2010 (which is how my notes were erased) but it only gives me the two options form 2010.   Anyone have any suggestions or reasons why it may not have backed up with each sync or how I can find all the backups from 2011 or are they gone?    Thanks

asuming you are talking about the app store try signing into your account using your apple id into the app store.

No. Anything that was created after your last backup will be gone.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then you can try going to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. If you backed up your phone to your computer, your backup should contain your notes. To recover them, you will have to restore your phone to the entire backup. To restore to your backup, connect your phone to your computer, open iTunes, click on the name of your phone, go to the Summary tab of your iTunes sync settings, then click on Restore Backup under Manually Back Up and Restore.

Once the Device is asking to be Restored with iTunes... it is too late to save anything...
To minimise loss... Connect to iTunes on the computer you Usually Sync with and Restore from the most recent Backup...

All contacts, calendars, photos etc should be on your computer as the iphone is designed to be synced to your computer.
Just sync them to your new iphone.

You did not steal my thunder. You asked for advice, I provided advice. I assumed that since you nor the "support team" could find your files that you did not have any backup. You should have told us you do regular backups. We have no way to know otherwise unless you tell us.
