I keep loosing part of my audiobooks when I load to my iPod. not too sure why, I can listen to it on my mac through iTunes but not on my device. any suggestions??

apps can only ever by bought 1 time using the same AppleID
make sure the itunes on the computer you sync with and the iphone have the appleID set the same
and if you must redownload the apps if bought using the same appleID you will not be recharged for redownloading them

Lost Part of Library

I recently had a hard drive crash and lost part of my music library which was not backed up. Now when I click on a tune I get a message that the file cannot be found. Is there a way I can get music purchased from the i Tunes store replaced? Please help.

The music should still be on your computer so the first thing I'd do is check whether or not it is.

I'd report the issue to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not downloading properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

Okay, that is the latest iOS. As far as shortcuts are concerned, they should be available. Go to Settings, General, Keyboard, Shortcuts. You should find the settings and area to enter new ones there. The area to set what numbers to receive calls from in DND mode are in Settings, Notifications, Do Not Disturb, and then then Allow Calls From.

Lost part of Printer connection using a WRT600n

I have a WRT600N router and have lost part on my printer connections. My PC desktop(XP PRO) is connected using a WUSB600N, my MAC laptop is connect via wireless and my iMac is connected via Cat6 cable. The network printer is connected to the WRT600N via cat5 cable. Here is my problem - my Windows destop PC cannot print, my MAC laptop prints only using the MAC side, connot print via VM/Windows(XP PRO) and the same holds true for the iMac. Everything worked fine until I had a power outage, when everything re-booted thats when the problem started.

Remove and Add Printer again...Check if the trick works...

Unless you had backed up some of your data to iCloud, there's no way to get it back with the exception of previous iTunes purchases which can be redownloaded.

On your Mac sync your contacts with iCloud. On your phone add Contacts to settings/icloud.
Or, if you have a version of OS X prior to Mavericks connect the phone to your computer (assuming it has the latest version of iTunes), click on its name in iTunes, click on the Info tab, and check to sync Contacts. Then click Sync.

Lost position while playing audiobooks

Hi,
if I should down my iPhone 3GS the ipod lost the position in the audiobook.
Thats very bad because the audio book is 25CDs large an searching the right
position to restart is horrible. With this behavior the iPhone isn't a replacement for any other midrange no Apple MP3 player. Most players store the position in the file every few seconds and if you stop playing. Better player can set bookmarks to restart if you want to hear some other stuff.

I just lost my iPod mini's ear buds. Is that something that can be covered under Applecare? It's still good for another year.

Applecare covers faults in your equipment not loss of all or part of it. It's an extended warranty it not like not an insurance policy that will cover theft or loss.
