Lost password and lost e-mail

Hi,
my friend's Skype client signs-in automaticaly but now I need to reinstall her computer. Unfortunately she doesn't remember her password and her e-mail address, which was assigned to her Skype account, doesn't exist anymore.
What possibilities does she have to reset her password now?

What do you mean your Yahoo mail isn;t working? If you are talking about it not working in the mail app, remove your account from Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and add it again. Then follow the instructions here to recover your Apple ID password.

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
You will need to show patience with the procedure and be prepared to demonstrate without question that the account belongs to you. Don’t expect access to be restored immediately and if you aren’t the owner of the Apple ID registered to the device the account won’t be reset.

Start Firefox in Save mode and remove the procon prefs (procon.password) on the about:config page.

If you have a passcode problem you will have to restore as new
as it will not let you restore with a backup

You have to restore it. It will restore as a new iPod. If you want the apps you had, try to re-buy them with your apple id account. It must say you already buyed them and if you want to download them. Hope can help you! More Info:

Forgot password and original E-mail account is no ...

If you lost your password and the original E-mail you registered is no longer active/working then there is just no proper solution to help recover the password.
Even If you are still logged in on a smartphone there is no way you can add a new E-mail addresse to receive the password or there is no way to change the password from the mobile device.
Getting in contact with support is a nightmare and this is suppose to be a serious company????
How difficult can it be to offer proper support?

i have the same problem. Been working with HP to resolve video call problem where recipient cannot see me but I see them and my image fine. in the process skype was unintalled several times and reinstalled. each time password was rejected as invalid. had not changed it but was forced to. now am told that too many attempts have been made and to wait 24 hours. What bull**bleep**. somehow i am now signed on. i do not see how this company stays in business. they have no customer support address or phone to call.
From now on i will use carrier pigeons or cell phone.

When I type inmy new password the i cloud doesnt recognize! My contacts calendar and mail won t recognize the new password and everytime I turn on my computer it wants me to put in my icloud password......? Is that the same as my apple ID password?

Ipad3: lost password and can't be recovered

Hello,
unfortunately i lost my brand new ipad password. After trying it several times, my iPad now says, that it is disactivated and needs to be connected to iTunes. I've searched in the apple knowledgebase and tried to resetting it. After putting it into recovery mode, itunes asked if i want to reset it. After that, itunes loaded down the ios and tried to recover my pad. That procedure failed with error 3194 and the information, that my pad can't be recovered.
Does anyone of you have a suggestion?

sorry but i know this article. iTunes ist up-to-date.
Something i stumbled upon: In the release notes to ios 5.1 there is no "new iPad" enumerated.
Of course i know, that my iPad runs with 5.1, can it be, that apple has just forgotten to set a bit, that new iPads or iTunes recognise, that thss version fits for the new device?
May this is the matter for error 3194....

Lost password and password reset utility doesn't work.

Kind of embarassing, but a couple of days ago I decided that it would be a good idea to change my password at three in the morning. Gah!
I tried using the password reset utility, but it would simply crash upon selecting my drive. I ran it from the terminal and it says that it's getting a bus error. I tried using passwd from single user mode, but it seems as though Apple has decided that that is a bad thing. Same goes for trying to run it from the terminal on the install disc.
What do I do now? Getting my files back won't be a problem, but I won't have the equipment to do that until I go home, and there are still a couple of weeks left in the semester. Being stuck using my guest account really *****!
G5 Mac OS X (10.4.6)

This will give you root access to your computer:
1) Reboot into single usermode (Hold "Cmd" + "S")
2) At the Console # type:
fsck -fy
- This should come up OK after a minute, if not run it again
3) At the Console # type:
mount -uw /
4)At the Console # type:
nicl -raw /var/db/netinfo/local.nidb -createprop /users/root authentication_authority ";basic;"
- The above should be all on 1 line (this might format it to wrap a line)
5) At the Console # type:
nicl -raw /var/db/netinfo/local.nidb -createprop /users/root passwd
- This will reset the root password
6) At the Console # type:
reboot
7) You can now login with the username root

WRT310N lost password and want to save basic layout before reset

That is it in a nutshell. I can press RESET but I will lose all the settings in the router. Without the password, I cannot get in to even view what they were/are. I need to modify one setting or I would not worry about it since it is working fine as is. If I could even view the area containg what ports are mapped to what IP it would help as I could try to work with what is in there.
The odd thing is that I have no recollection of actually changing the password. It has been the same for a couple of years and now suddenly it would accept.
Anyone have any ideas?

The settings that you need to know are the username and the password from Verison DSL ( your ISP). Apart from the ISP settings there's nothing you need to write down.Reset the router for 20 secs. The WPA encryption will also be disabled.
