Lost password need clear, step by step instructions
I need clear and exact steps to reset my password. I put in the install disc for mac os that came with the computer. I held down the C button. the choose language page was there, choose English. but all the instructions say that from that point on, after I hit "continue" after choosing the language, there is supposed to be a utilities menu but that is not the page that appears.
what appears is Mac OS installer with the icons for: Time machine, mail, finder, dvd and something that is acquire with four smaller squares inside. Clicking on any of those does not do anything.
the choices on this page are: more information, and continue. MOre information just tells you various websites to go to. Continue takes me to an agreement page and I click Agree to be taken to
"select destination" SO WHERE THE HECK IS THE Utilities menu?
the support and book directions say one thing but they don't happen as they say.
can someone PLEASE tell me how to reset the **** password in clear, step by realistic step process?
Why can't apple or any of the support people not say what happens as it really happens.
you would think it is so simple -2 steps- but that is NOT true.

there is nothing to support the book and support forum steps. as I said there is NO OPTION for a menu or to choose Utilities. the only option is
to reinstall the OS system and that is NOT IN THE DIRECTIONS!

If you synced it many times, you have to have a backup. It's just a question of how old that backup is now. When did you last sync?
First of all launch iTunes on your computer and go to Edit>Preferences>Devices. Do you see any backups for you iPad in that window? If so, how new is the newest backup? That will be the backup that you will want to use. But remember that if you use that backup and it is one month old, you can only restore from that date back in time. Anything that you did on the iPad in the past month will not be in that backup.
Turn on the new iPad Minin and start activating OTA via WiFi. You will get to a certain point in the process where you will be given the choice to Set up as new, Restore from iCloud - or Restore from iTunes. You will want to select Restore from iTunes.
That is the short and sweet version. There are step by step instructions in this article. This applies to the mini as well as the iPad 4 or the iPad 3 for that matter.

Your i-device was not designed for unique storage of your media. It is not a backup device and media transfer was planned with you maintaining a master copy of your media on a computer which is itself independently backed up against loss. To use a device with a new computer you transfer the content from the old computer (or its backup) directly to the new computer, not the device to the new computer. Syncing is one way, computer to device, updating the device content to the content on the computer, not updating or restoring content on a computer. There is no clear defined step which can be categorized as step by step to performance tuning.Your first goal is to find out cause or drill down to factor causing slowness of SQL server it can be poorly written query ,missing indexes,outdated stats.RAM crunch
CPU crunch so on and so forth.

Anyway, the free Adobe Reader can't do this conversion without a subscription called either ExportPDF or PDF Pack. You may have had one in the past. Are you still paying for one? -

I am a complete newbie when it comes to adding a barcode to a form, so I need simple step-by-step instructions on how to do it.
I am not familiar with scripting, and am hoping to do most things through the toobars & object detail menus, etc.
I do know how to wrap objects in a sub-form, however.

Need to add a barcode:
Type: Paper Forms Barcode
Symbology: PDF417
Scanning Method: Handheld Scanner
Barcode must capture information from 6 text fields + 1 checkbox

I have managed to put a barcode onto the form, and use tab delimiting.
I am using the 'automatic scripting' feature as I don't know scripting.
The barcode displays data from a 'collection' I created by selecting 6 fields.
However, I want the barcode to encode the field information (field name, field data) IN A SPECIFIC ORDER.

Firefox is not enabling me to cut and paste when I'm working on my business website. I can tried the key commands and they didn't work either.
