Lost phone still receiving calls but says offline on find my phone app.

Hey I Lost my phone yesterday I tracked it through the find my iphone app. It pops up but says offline. phone is still receiving calls it rings 4 times then goes to voicemail, so I know its on. anyone have any ideas?

Did you have the passcode lock enabled?
If not, someone can turn Cellular Data off which prevents find my iPhone from working or someone can turn find my iPhone off with the account settings on the iPhone. Either one doesn't prevent the iPhone from placing and receiving calls.

Yikes! I want you to be able to make phone calls on your cell phone! I would recommend what others have stated on here as well. Remove the sim card for a good 30 seconds while the phone is off. Then try to make the phone call again. Have you ever replaced the sim card on your device before? Sim not valid - Still receives calls - iPhone 5

Hey everyone. I'm having the exact same issue as alot of people ive being reading on this forum. The only difference that i have can still receive calls, at least ive not seen anyone yet with the same exact case. My signals dots are full, carrier name is displayed and i have 3g when not connected to wifi. How is that possible if my sim is not valid???
Yes it is carrier locked, but is the same as my sim.
Please help. I need my phone back.

Does she have her own iCloud account? You can have more than one iCloud account installed on a device, and some users install a secondary iCloud account which is common to others in the family to allow "Find My iPhone" to be used from one account while keeping separate iCloud contacts, mail, etc.
But with iOS 7 although you can still have multiple iCloud accounts installed, only the "primary" iCloud account supports "Find my iPhone". So if her iCloud account is the primary, you can no longer track her from your iCloud account. Is that what happened in your case?

I received a carrier unlock through AT&T. I restored my phone in itunes and received the "congratulation your iphone is now unlocked" message. I am currently living in Belgium and using the Mobistar network. I have bought several sim cards, and none of the sim cards will activate. I can receive calls but not place them. According to the mobostar representative, this is not even possible. I have restored the phone several times using different sim cards.
Is there potentially a problem with the phone itself? Everything is showing as if it should work, but I am unable to fix the problem - as well as the service provider here cannot.

Have you tried these two:
Toggle Airplane mode on and off. Wait five seconds between the on and off modes.
Reset Network Settings. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

If your are unable to send phone calls I would recommend that you contact your carrier about this. If you feel this is the device you can do a hard reset on it and before you sync try to place a phone call if that resolves the issue then go to your backup folder located here:

And rename the backup folder to backupOld. Then sync. If this does not resolve the issue you may need to call the carrier to be sure that your SIM card and device is setup correctly.

If you need to use the phone now, try using speaker phone until you can take it to an Apple store and have them further look into the problem.

Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
Test the issue after each step. If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.

If you want to track it, then put it in Lost Mode. If you erase it then you can't track it.

If you have iTunes 11 on your Mac then you can enable the left-hand sidebar via option-command-S, that might make it easier to navigate.
Connect the phone to your Mac and select it on that left-hand sidebar, and on the right-hand side of the screen there should be a series of tabs which you can use to select what to sync to the phone. If it's an audiobook then it should appear on the Books tab for selecting/syncing, and films will be on the Movies tab. When you've got the audiobook on your phone you should get an Audiobooks option in the Music app (you might need to tap the '...' tab at the bottom of the Music app to see it).

I receive calls but can't place a call. I send and receive messages and mails. I drop some water on top of the phone.

Accidentally I drop couple drops of water on the phone.
The phone still works perfect.
I send and receive mails, text messages, and I also can receive calls hear and talk.
But when I want to place a call i automatically receive error message.
I change my chip to other phone and worked perfect.
I try using a different sim on iPhone and has the same problem, just can't make a call.
I updated ios.
I restore to factory.
And still the same problem.
Can someone help me ?
Telephone company says they just cant help because is not line problem and "it seems they can't solve the hardware problem".
