Lost Purchases - wont download

Hey all,
Im using Itunes 7.1.1.5 and after buying an album I discovered (unfortunately) that it wont load the music at all. Its odd, because just the other day it downloaded a small podcast, but wouldnt load a larger one. It trys to load the album, gets all the way done and then bounces back to zero, loading again. After the 2nd loading, it goes to stopped - (err - 100008) and pops up an error "the file seems to be corrupted". When I do the "check for purchases" option, it reloads and again does the same thing. Help!
Needing my music,
Cheryl
P.S> When I try to Download to 7.3, it wont. It says Quicktime isnt valid, then freezed when trying to load Itunes.

  • Purchases wont download?

I purchased the Michael Jackson "This is It" Movie, but for some reason the purchase won't download. There are two portions of the movie that are downloading, but one (the actual movie) wont even start downloading and the other (The iTunes extras) stops at 32.3 Mb out of 899.1 MB. I also download an album and it worked just fine. Every movie and album I've purchased has downloaded fine, except this one.
I called but all he did was point me back to the support page. I'm sure the Chat Support people could help by re-sending the download, but I can't get to the Chat Support. Anyone have any ideas/help?
    Thanks!

  • I've purchased songs thru iTunes Store and they will not sync to my iPhone 5.  They show up as if they are in the cloud but wont download to my iPhone, Why?

So some of my purchased songs from iTunes are not syncing to my iPhone.  Is there a setting or format issue?  If so, how do I change it?  The songs show up on my iPhone as if they synced, but do not play.  There is an icon to the right saying it needs to be downloaded from iCloud and when I click it, it wont download.

  • I purchased and downloaded a full album on itunes today, when i got home i updated my phone and lost it all, how can i get this music back without paying for it again

Today while driving home from vacation i purchased and downloaded the new Nichleback CD, when i got home, i plugged my phone into my computer to update everything and it pulled up a message saying something like "this computer has recognized an iPhone that is in memory update, you will need to restore the phone" or something similar to that, it had a picture of the power cord plugging into iTunes on the screen and i couldn't get rid of it, so i had to plug it in and restore everything, when it was done i noticed that not only did i loose the new CD that i had just purchased today but i lost all of the music that i've purchased since the last update. How can i restore this music without purchasing it all again?

Media should be included with the backup of the computer that all users should be creating on a regular basis as part of basic computer/data maintenance.
In the event that you do not have a backup (stop being lazy.... keep backups of YOUR data and other important files)
If you are in the US and running iTunes 10.3 or later, it is possible to redownload music via iCloud from purchased history.
If you are not in the US or for some reason cannot run iTunes 10.3 or later, contact iTunes customer support and ask very nicely for the opportunity to redownload the content.  They are not required to provide this opportunity.
It is also possible to transfer content from an iDevice that was purchased via iTunes.  On the new computer, sign into the iTunes account, authorize the computer, connect the device then select File > Transfer Purchases.
The simplest method of all is to transfer or copy the media (and other important files) from the old computer or the backup of the old computer.  Typing "move itunes library" into the search bar here or into google will reveal step by step instructions on how to do this.

  • I use to have a iTunes account with my old computer, and I have lost all my iTunes music, some purchased, some downloaded from another source. Now I'm using a brand new computer (Windows) and I have opened a NEW iTunes account, but I need my music back...

Now I'm using a brand new computer (Windows) and I have opened a NEW iTunes account, but I now I need to figure out if it is possible to recoup my music content that I originally had. I had, I believe around close to 300 songs on my account ;(......Any help or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks Again, Ronald

Now remove all your info and update the old AppleiD/iTunes account and use only that account.
You cannot transfer items between iTunes accounts.
You can redownload all the content.

  • I purchased a cd and it wont download one of the songs because it says its corrupt what can I do, I dont want to buy it again, I purchased a cd and it wont download one of the songs because it says its corrupt what can I do, I dont want to buy it again

After 4 repetitions I think I got that straight.
    Answer: Return the CD.
Or did you mean this was an album you bought from iTunes, in which case it really isn't a "CD" (which is a hard, plastic, shiny disc) and I'm at risk of getting confused.  If it is a corrupt file that you downloaded, delete the file and try downloading it again.

    Hi, sarahconte.
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
I would need a little more information regarding the errors or behavior you are experiencing to provide a better answer.  However, try downloading the audiobook via iTunes on your computer by checking for available downloads.  If the issue persists, you may want to report a problem with the purchase.

why wont my purchased music download from macbook to ipad? What checks should I make?

Make sure that you are signed into the correct ID in Setting>iTunes and App Stores>Apple ID. If you use iTunes Match, you have to disable it on the iPad before you can sync your music.

  • Has anyone ever lost a ringtone that they purchased and downloaded? I have; completely gone. And when I searched and attempted to download it again I got the message "you've already purchased this; do you want to purchase it again?"

Has anyone ever lost a ringtone that they purchased and downloaded a ringtone and then it just completely disappeared? When I tried to download it again I got the message "You've already purchased this item; are you sure you want to buy it again?"

You are aware that there the app may have downloaded and been placed on the second screen.  Not the main one.  Can you swipe to the right to see if it is there?

    Hello, lee19760_0.

I would delete the media that is giving you an issue and download it again by accessing your previous purchase.  The articles below will walk you through that process.

  • I bought a new laptop. I can get new songs I purchase to download to my song list on the laptop but it wont sych to the I-pod touch.

I bought a new laptop. I can get new song purchases to download onto the laptop from the I-tune store but they wont synch onto the I-pod

Launch iTunes on your computer. From the menu bar top of your screen click Store  / Authorize This Computer.
    Now sync your iPod.
If you still can't sync the music to your iPod, could be your PC security software preventing the sync process.

Go to the iTunes Store, log into your account, and click the Purchases link under the Quick Links. From there you should be able to re-download some or all of your purchased content. Note that not all content has been licensed for re-downloading in all countries at this time; you can see what content you can download here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5085
You can also re-download content using an iOS device.
    For more information, see:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2519
This if course will not apply to songs you did not buy through the iTunes Store.
    Regards.
