Lost signal all evening
Hey I'm in Northern VA and have been without a signal for a while this evening. It's odd since I normally have a pretty great one. Anyone else having this issue?
I don't remember my account password it is under my wife's name. IF you can call the verizon service number. 1800-922-0204 and report the problem they may be able to help. I talked to one of the guys their and he couldn't put a service request out because I don't know the password.

Even I cant believe this is happening again! i'm once again asking for help with my account. I guess I spoke too soon! I really can't believe this nightmare is not over yet! My account is still wrong. The credit that I was due totaled $63.00 I am looking at a message on my phone saying that $21.01 was credited which makes my balance $219.72. I received a text the following day that says, I processed your credit of $30.00 and your new balance $216.73 how is that possible? None of the late fees were credited and the amount due for my monthly charges are wrong. Before any changes were made to my data plan back in Nov. My monthly charges were $140.00, I needed my hot spot back and i was told that the hot spot will increase my bill $10 for each phone that totals $20. The customer rep that change my data plan at that time also gave me a credit of $20 to compensate for the increase until I had time to talk with customer service about the mix-up with my Hot spot. I originally had the hot spot, but the rep that change my plan almost a year prior told me nothing was changing except I was getting more for less money. I explained to that rep that I need my hot spot 4 times a year...and I don't want my plan to have any changes. To verify what I'm telling u check my account and see that I called from Albany New York wanting to know where my hot spot was and I was told I didn't have the hot spot on my account since the last data change! I lost money once again due to the verizon rep's. so my current data plan the rep promised would increase $20 which makes my monthly charges that were $140 prior to the change $160 after the hot spot was returned to my account. Then I was given a $12 credit per month for 12 months because of so many mistakes made to my account so with that $12 credit my monthly charges should $148 + surcharges + taxes and that's not what I see. I do know this much right now my account is in such a shambles I can hardly see the light at the end if there is an end! I need real help!

If the photos and videos aren't in the camera roll on your phone, the photos aren't your my photo stream album on your phone, and you don't have a backup of your phone while they were still on it, I'm afraid there isn't anying you can do as there is no source to restore them from.
(Apple states that it keeps your last three iCloud backups (if you have sufficient space in your account) so even if they weren't on your phone when it was last backed up, if you think they might be in one of the prior 2 backups you could try restoring one of these older backups.)
If you deleted them from your phone, there are 3rd party data recovery programs available (such as http://www.anysoftwaretools.com/iphone-data-recovery.html). I don't know how well they work though. -

I upgraded to the lastest version of Flash to fix what I thought was a problem in Firefox. That problem turned out to be something else but now Safari will not play ANY flash content. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I have even installed an older version. All of these have the exact same result. Flash works in Firefox but not in Safari. I have cleared the cache. I have gone into the flash securty settings and deleted all content. Nothing seems to change this. Anyone have any ideas?
Plug-Ins are installedand keep in mindthis problem affects all 3 browsers i am using IE9, Safari5 & Firefox 19NOT a SPECIFIC browser issuewhich is why i think it's either "Flash" (Adobe) or streaming web-site (Freedocast) issue.

My old computer crashed and I cannot find the music i previously had on itunes, have I lost it all?
Hello My Old computer crashed and I have a new computer. I found itunes and signed in to my acccount, However I don't see any of my music I had loaded onto it or any music I had previously on my playlists Have I lost it all?

I've upgraded to OS 10.8.2 and my Bowers and Wilkins MM-1 Speakers were working fine until today, and now they won't play any sound at all, even though iTunes shows the audio is playing. I've tried both the headphone jack and the USB port. Please help! I don't want to have to be stuck using my internal speakers!

Thanks. I haven't mixed down the audio or checked the number of tracks in Prefs. Good points.
As far as a mixdown goes, I'll definitely give it a try, though I wonder whether or not the tracks will be recognized during mix down recording - given that you can't hear either of those segments in playback. Just have to try.
Re the preferred number of allowed tracks - I'll go check as soon as I send this off, but I'm not sure that applies in this case, since the two Channels containing the segments that are pinked out are not in additional tracks. I should have mentioned that other audio clips and segments on the same Channels in the SAME tracks ARE heard in playback. As are two additional track in the 2nd Sequence. It's only when the two sequences are joined that the pink tinted segments can't be heard. Within the sequence the same audio cuts playback as they should. Thanks again &

Apple recently sent a message asking me if I would like to upgrade to Mavericks which was free. I considered installing after saving a copy of my HD to a WD external drive. I proceeded with the instalation however when it was time to reboot the programme the computer displayed a message that it could not process the request due to errors with the hard drive. The computer then requested that i save a copy and the verify disk and repair disk which i followed and the computer would not repair due to an error. At which pioint I did some research and was told by the IMac to push shift when it starts to enter disk utility and repair the Mcintosh HD. I did as asked however the computer would still not install with Mavericks.
So after many attempts of trying to start over, I was prompted to erase the Mcintosh HD and reboot using the saved copy. At this point all data was lost and all that is left on my computer is a file with a question mark with no way of restoring the HD drive. Could anyone help please?It sounds like your HD may have died.
If you could answer a few questions it may help figure out what you should do next:
What OS did you have on your computer before you tried to upgrade to mavericks?
Did your computer originally come with installer disks? -
My ipad is no longer showing all my vidoes, even though i have the option set to show all, even those that are in my cloud. Any suggestions??
Close the videos app and launch it again.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
if they still don't show up after you launch the app again, try resetting the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
My iPHONE 5 wifi is NOT working when am 3 feet away from router while my iPhone 4s has full signal all the time.Please help.
The problem would seem to be in the firewall in your router. Have you tried disabling it? I assume you've updated the router firmware, right? Consider bypassing the ISP provided router (using it as a modem only) and unsing another device such as an Aiport Express.

When my phone is not plugged into the charger or computer, it will not turn on at all; even though it is not dead. When it's plugged into the computer, it will go to a white screen with a grey apple icon and then it will turn off again and repeat. IOS7 and iPhone 5.

Try this step and if you cannot get your device into recovery mode there is a chance you have a hardware failure and you need to call apple to see what service options you have. -
I have iphoto 08 version 7.1.5. I copied photos from recent - last import into albums. I then deleted the photos and emptied the trash. Today all the albums are empty and the photos are nowhere in the library. Have I lost them all?

When i update my IOS7 i lost my all pic from my IPAD2 can anyone suggest how to get back those pic? and i don,t think so i did kept back up before i update ios7. can anyone help me for this issue?
The photo's in your camera roll would be in a backup, if you have one (iCloud or iTunes). If you did not keep a backup somewhere, they are gone. Sorry, but that is the way of any data - if you don't have a backup of it somewhere, there is nothing to restore it from.
All other photo's should be on your computer somewhere anyway - whereever you had them to sync to the device originally. -
I have lost nearly all my photos and events. I received a message effectively saying that I need to upgrade from an old base. I think I may have tried to open an event that was stored in iPhoto Buddy a few days ago. iPhoto Buddy is not supported in Lion. How can I retrieve my phjotos?

Assuming 09 or later...
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .
