Lost texts when trying to back up/restore - please help

Hello,
I recently downloaded BB Desktop Software for Mac, and backed up everything onto my Mac. However, it won't let me open the back up files and comes up with the message "The document “BlackBerry Bold 9700 (2012-04-26) - PreUpdate.bbb” could not be opened. BlackBerry Desktop Software cannot open files of this type." I tried restoring my text messages to my phone but it won't work and instead deleted nearly all of the messages on my phone When I click restore and look at the available files it says there are over 6000 SMS messages, but I can't access them... it would mean a lot to me to get my texts back, is anyone able to help?

Does it say anything else, like the backup is corrupted? If so then delete the backup in iTunes Preferences/Devices.
There have been reports that some apps prevent backup from working. izip is the usual culprit.
Are you connecting to a USB port directly on your computer, and not to a hub? Using a hub can also prevent the backup from completing because the USB connection isn't as reliable through a hub.

Black Screen when trying to play iTunes Movies PLEASE HELP

This is my set up. I have an iMac running OS X (10.5) and a mac mini running (10.6) this mac mini is hooked up to my tv in the living room, it also is fitted with an external hard drive (this is where my itunes media folder is located for my mac mini). I enabled home sharing on both macs and they are both authorized to play my media. I recently downloaded two movies on my iMac and transferred them to my mac mini. Now here is the problem. I can play the movies fine on my iMac but when i try to play them on my mac mini all i get is a black screen with no sound. The movie is playing on the mac mini because i see the time bar moving but nothing is on the screen.
Please help.

Error when trying to sign the Applet, please Help

I have this Error when I am trying to sign my applet, after execut this command :
jarsigner -verify -verbose -certs test.jar
jarsigner: java.lang.SecurityException: invalid SHA1 signature file digest for classe/JDBC_SQL.class
And for your information, that I had add the JDBC_SQL.class to the jar file (test.jar) because I made some change to the file JDBC_SQL.java
so please if you know what can I do to resolve my problem

ahh, here is a problem. u made changes to the JDBC_SQL.java and packed the jar file. u have to sign the jar file again.

Error 4280 When Trying to Burn a CD - Please help...

I am trying to burn a cd from itunes. Everytime I click 'burn CD' it initialises and starts writing the first song but then says 'cancelling cd burning' and comes up with an an error code of 4280. I am using TDK CD-R80 cd's and have never had a problem with them before.
Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?

Your update 33.0 is not compatable with Norton antivirus and the screen only turns black when trying to open firefox. Please help

Please see question. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but with no success. Chrome and Int. Exp both work fine, but nothing comes up but a black screen covering most of my monitor in Firefix.

Sorry but it is always the other way. Norton needs to update their Firefox extension to work with the new major version Release so it can tie in with their antivirus client.
The good news is that Norton as usual has a live-update patch for Firefox 33.0 which was available on October 13, the day be fore Firefox 33.0 was Released.

SAFARI crashing when trying to upload...PLEASE HELP.

greetings, I'm looking 4 help, and not sure if anyone else that uses safari is having same problem. Safari crashes and/or gives me an error when I try to upload files to the net. The two sites are really common (photbucket/dnbshare.com). Why is this happining, any ideas? I've sent the problem to mac, but not sure if that helps.

In answer to your question, no, do not trash the Caches folder, just the folder named Safari inside the Caches folder. Leave the other folders alone.

in Downloaded Installations folder on my computer, I clicked on the downloaded itunes applications and that was the dialog box that popped up on my screen. What do I do? And how do I do it! please help.

hmmmm ... it sounds like you're clicking inside the folder containing installation configuration information for your iTunes.
what happens if you download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (installer) file to your desktop, and then run the install by doubleclicking on that?

What haven't you backed them up? You should always have a back up of any important material on your Mac. Make one now:
Most Simple Back Up
Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
Slightly more complex:
Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically. Examples of such apps: Chronosync or DejaVu . But are many others. Search on MacUpdate

My apple id account had wiped my wifes iphone when trying to back hers up, can i get her back?

i have backed my iphone up to the computer and when trying to back my wifes up, it then deleted her account and all her contacts and changed her phone to be identical to mine and is now registering as my apple id account rather than hers, is there anyway of changing it back to her apple id account and getting all the contacts back? thanks

it is not possible to delete it if u know the user name and password logout at the app store and log in as her acount she will get ALL her stuf back, if i am not right plz keep the mean comment to ur self

TIme Machine stalls when trying to back up to Time Capsule or an external hard drive. Time Machine shows a message such as "Backing up 4MB of 9.00GB" but nothing happens for hours.

Are you really running 10.6.4 OS?
What model TC and what firmware?
Wireless or wired?
How is the TC setup?
If TM can work to neither a TC or external hard disk it is more likely the computer is faulty hard disk..
Do a verify of the disk.
