Lost the text of my notes in ActiveNotes! Help, pl...

Hi,
I have an E61. A while ago, I installed ActiveNotes, but as that stopped working, I deinstalled it again and I was able to retrieve the texts of all my notes by reading the html pages on my PC.
Now I have stored the texts in one *.txt document which I´d like to transfer back to my phone and split up into various Nokia-style notes again to reconstruct the status quo.
Now, I was able to transfer that file and when I click on it, I get a message saying it has been saved - but WHERE? I have a search tool installed to search the contents of my phone for a given file, but I cannot find it.

Hi,
this is solved. I have managed to transfer the *.txt file containing the consolidated text for all notes via cable, it promptly showed up as a note as *.txt files always do on the phone and I distributed the pieces of text to individual notes. Now I have the status quo again.

Does the iOS device connect to other networks? If yes that tend to indicate a problem with your network.

Do other devices now connect?

Try the following to rule out a software problem:

If still problem and it does not connect to any networks make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

You can prevent it from being printed by applying a security policy to it
in Acrobat. The rest can't be prevented, unless you spend a LOT of money
on DRM protection.

You already tested in Firefox's Safe Mode and that did not make any difference?
Can you associate this problem with any software changes, such as upgrading from Firefox 31 to Firefox 32, or updating an add-on, or Windows, etc.?
Have you noticed problems with any other dialogs or menus?
Occasionally a corrupted settings file may cause issues with dialogs. This file also stores toolbar customizations. You can rename the file and customize from scratch.
Open your current Firefox settings (AKA Firefox profile) folder using either
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Troubleshooting Information
* (menu bar) Help > Troubleshooting Information
* type or paste about:support in the address bar and press Enter
In the first table on the page, click the "Show Folder" button
Leaving that window open, switch back to Firefox and Exit, either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "power" button
* (menu bar) File > Exit
Pause while Firefox finishes its cleanup, then rename '''localstore.rdf''' to something like localstore.old

Two Macs with Mac OS X 10.5.2. Both migrated from Mac OS X 10.4.11. One Mactel and one PowerPC. I can see the former from the latter, but not the latter from the former:

The Publish to Responsive HTML5 function escapes these correctly in the main body of the text but does not work correctly in either the Contents or the Index of the generated HTML. In the Contents the words are completely missing and in the index entries the '\' characters that are required in the markers remain in the entry but the leading less than symbol and the first character of the word is deleted; hence what should appear as <dataseries> appears as \ataseries\>. I believe this is a FMv12 bug. Has anyone else experienced this? Is the FM team aware and working on a fix. Any suggestions for a workaround?

The Index issue is more complicated since in order to get the < and > into the index requires the entry itself to be escaped. So, in order to index '<x2settings>' you have to key '\<x2settings\>'. Looking at the generated index entry in the .js file we see '<key name=\"\\2settings\\>\">. This is a bit of a mess and produces an index entry of '\2settings\>'. This ought to be '<key name=\"&lt;x2settings&gt;\" >'. I have tested this fix and it works - but the worst of it is that the first character of the index entry has been stripped out. Consequently I cannot fix this with a few global changes - and I have a lot of index entries of this type. I'm looking forward to a response to this since I cannot publish this document in its current state.

I will just buy Bejeweled again. I guess the price of downloading maverick was losing my beloved video game. Anyway - keep a breakpoint in SAVE_TEXT/READ_TEXT function module and create/display MIRO and FB60 documents - this tell you how it stores and reads long text.
You should use READ_TEXT in your program with same header inputs with respective TDOBJECT and TDNAME parameters.

That is almost always because the phone was hacked to illegally unlock it. Contact the carrier it's locked to and ask about having it legitimately unlocked. If they will not do so, you will not be able to activate that phone.
