Lost thread in PI forum

Hello PI Gurus!
I've lost my thread "Resource Adapter deployment - problem with application reference". The tread is only visible in my watchlist and I can only see Christian Sy's reply!
And an error message is shown: "This thread is locked - replies are not allowed."
This is the link to the thread:
[Resource Adapter deployment - problem with application reference;
Does anybody know how to unlock?
@Christian Sy: Sorry, I cannot reply to your helpful answer!
Cheers,
Matthias

Posted by Christian Sy  and not by Matthias Kral .

Hi Siva,
This is not a question of bigger or smaller problem. This is a matter for providing information to someone how is not aware of Rule-Of-Engagement on SDN.
Secondly I think you have not seen the thread properly which is attached in this thread. Look it carefully because it was originally created by Matthias Kral but since it has been blocked therefore he is not able to find his original post in the same thread and it was answered by Christian Sy.
I hope this resolves your curiosity.

  • Lack of reply and Lost threads!

I have posted two threads here:

    and here:
    http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/message.jspa?messageID=251505#251505
Neither have been replied to and to complicate matters I cannot find them in the front page of the forum. This effectively means that they will never be seen by any helper. Can they be "bumped" or do I re-submit and wait again or what?

    Hi
You should click on your User nick name.
    http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/profile.jspa?userID=59022
Then you will find your postings. It could be possible that the postings have been moved to other categories if you have posted this in the wrong forum.

  • Cannot Move Thread to MSDN Forum

I just tried to move a question posted in the TechNet "Forums Issues" forum to an MSDN forum. But when I select anything other than TechNet in the selection box, I get nothing, no list of forums to choose from. I tried in IE 9, IE 11, and Firefox. Are
we no longer able to move threads from TechNet to MSDN?

    Ben,
If we do a search on the forum with nothing as keyword, we can get all the threads in this forum listed. Sorting by Replies will display (and offfcourse display 50 threads per page - oops that's the maximum....) and we have to look what we want. This is pretty vague technique. These are the top 3 threads.
    1) Rube Goldberg code
    2) 第2届LabVIEW专家组竞赛获奖程序下载 (Chinese board - 2nd LabVIEW Group Contest Awards Program Download)
    3) Oscilloscope project (Our favorite JLV - one man army - Managed to take care throughout this whole thread)

  • Hard to follow threads on this forum

Am I the only one to have this issue on following threads on this forum?
I might be on page 4 of the forum topics, I read through a thread and then try to return to page 4 listings -- but end back on the first page of the topics -- not page 4.
Also in the breadcrumbs on the bottom of the pages,  I only see pages "1 2  <Previous and Next>".  No easy way to jump to deeper threads such as pages 3-4-5-6 etc.
Can the forum's administrator look into this -- or is there some option I can set that can fix this???
    Rowby

    Worst.  Forum.  Software.  Ever.
But if you go back to the top of the thread and click on "Up to Discussions in Premiere Pro" rather than the one that just says > Discussions, it takes you back to the last page you were on, not page 1.  The top of the page, sure, but it's better than going all the way back to page one and having to click six times to get to page six.
Of course it wouldn't occur to them to put this link after the last post in the thread, where it is most likely to be used...

  • Can't see who has replied to the thread in the forum, its pointess?

What's the point in creating a system where you can't see who has replied to the thread? Its absolutely F**CKING pointless? Does anyone at Adobe have any brains or are they all sitting with their heads up their backsides?
Surely before you release such garbage you test for these very simple issues, right?
osgood_(NOT M Golding) If anyone at Adobe is monitoring this please get my screen named changed to what it was previously as well.

It needs a 'latest reply' on the posted list page like the old version otherwise you have no idea if anyone has replied to the post or not without opening it.

The line below is not that necessary in the order of priority, which for all intense and purposes is quite useless. I don't really care about how long ago something was posted or where it was posted but an indication to show 'updated' posts and by who is vital.
9 minutes ago in Dreamweaver support forum
Why do we even need 'Dreamweaver support forum'. We already know that's where we are! I guess a selection of posts from other forums may appear in a 'general' postings list somewhere, but who really cares - if I'm asking a question related to DW that's the forum I'm going to, not a general list as I don't care a monkey knackers what's been posted in Fireworks or InDesign or Illustrator. If I did I'd go to those forums.
If you are tracking several postings it is going to become hugely annoying for both the person who has asked the question and the people helping the original poster as many replies will potentially go unnoticed and not resolved.
And what's with the silly horizontal scroll bar being created for long lines of text? That's annoying too.
Plenty of teething issue you need to get your head around over the next few weeks.

  • Cannot post new thread in Calendar forum

I have a question about Oracle Calendar, and I'm trying to post my question in the Calendar forum. But when I click the "Post New Thread" link, I get an error page that says "Error: you do not have permission to view the requested forum or category."
    What am I doing wrong?
I am signed in as a registered user, not a guest. I originally created this account a few years ago but have not used it in a long time until today.

How did you get to the forum? Are you trying to post to an archived forum? You may need to use a different forum, perhaps someone can tell which forum to ask such a question, or you can get a clue by searching here (as opposed to google searching). This is a huge site, sometimes it takes a bit of work to find the right place. For me, the google search generally works better, but that may not apply to what you are searching for.

  • Problem w/ thread in Database forum?

Is there a problem with this thread?
    Datablock writes
Most threads that are answered will say "This thread is answered." and below one of the post will be marked "Correct". In this thread, it says "This question is answered. Helpful answers available: 5. Correct answers available: 1." And below, none of the replies is marked as "Correct".
    -Mark

Yes I understand Mark. I do favor this that when the poster is satisfied with the answers and is finally going to close the question, he should mark the right or near-to-right answer not just for him but for others as well, who in future may look at that thread for the same question. But I guess, at times, people either are in just too much of hurry or don't bother to press few extra clicks of mouse.
+ realize I'm not as active on the Forums as some people, but I've answered my share of questions.
Yet, if you look at my profile, it says "25 points (newbie)". I can only assume it's cause I have a knack for consistently answering questions from people who don't bother to award points.+
I really don't think that the points decide how much knowledgable a person is. Yesterday, I was writing some notes, doing some research with block dumps, almost all the threads that I found over web, you were there, explaining the contents of it. Please trust me when I say this, your answers are among the best ones over here for some of the toughest topics. I remember very well your answers over the threads for Dirty Buffers and Pinned buffers. At least for me, it doesn't matter what the profile shows , I know who are the best guys over this forum and over the other places where I look for answers. That's the same for my profile as well, which says, Guru when I am so so many miles far from being called that :-) .
    best regards

  • Open Threads from UIX Forum?

I've got a couple of threads on which I was still hoping for responses over on the UIX forum. I can't update them there, and it says current threads will be 'moved' here. Does that mean the existing content of the threads will literally be moved over here, or just that followups will be posted here? If I want to update a UIX thread, should I start a new one here, or how soon could I expect my open threads from there to be continued here?

I'd just start a new one here and include a URL to the old one in case anyone needs to see the full context.

    I am really confused.Is it bug for SP13?Should I upgread to SP20?

  • My threads in the forum(s)

How can I show all my threads instead of just the past 60 days?
    Thanks...John

    Hi John,
Currently, you can't. This change was made on purpose.
I've started a thread in the Suggestions forum requesting that this be returned to us, you may want to add your voice there as well:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/597b4a9d-1ca8-49be-9aac-dbaf0419bafc/my-threads-add-the-option-to-show-over-60-days?forum=suggest
There have been some suggested workarounds, such as using the My Alerts view (but this only works if you've set an alert for every thread you've participated in) or using a search engine targeted at microsoft.com. I've had very limited success with both
    of those methods personally.

  • Sticky Threads in ABAP Forum

After the most recent upgrade, all of the sticky threads of all of the ABAP sub-forums appear at the top of the main forum. This pushes new threads further down the list. As a result we have to refresh more often and put more pressure on the SDN servers.
So could the stickies just appear at the top of the sub forums like they used to?
    Rob

    I second that!!!

  • Lost link to my Forum ID

    Hello,
How can I get help with a lost link to my old Forum ID (witkacy)? The link was lost probably because of a recent (relatively) Adobe ID reset or, possibly, even earlier. I still have all the old credenials (when there was no need for the email ans user name, but the email has not changed).
    Thank you
    m.

    Thank you, Pat.
No, unfortunately, I can't. My old credentials do not work anymore. Some time ago Adobe forums started requiring an email as an only form of a login into the forums. Back then I succesfully 'linked' my old forums ID to the Adobe ID (what is now an only option to get to the forums). But after a breach into Adobe's database and the password reset I've lost a link from my Adobe ID to that old forum ID of mine (witkacy). The only way was to establish a second forum ID (witkacy2). My question is - is there any way to regain the link to my old forum ID to my current Adobe ID.
    Thanks again
    Regards
    m.
