Why do my mycloud makes up to 35 icons of the same movie in public movie libory on every streaming divices ?BRKnastaksel

Generally if you have just one movie file with cover art either embedded or as a single "<movie name>.jpg" file the WD My Cloud Twonky DLNA server will use that cover art/thumbnail image as the cover art/thumbnail image for the rest of the media content in the folder. The solution, if this is happening to movie files without cover art/thumbnail image is to either remove the offending cover art/thumbnail image from the movie file(s), or remove all the cover art/thumbnail image ".jpg" files, or create a generic cover art/thumbnail image file called "folder.jpg" mark it as "hidden" and copy it to the folder where the cover art/thumbnail image is being incorrectly displayed. What this will do is cause the Twonky DLNA server to use the "folder.jpg" file as the cover art/thumbnail image for any media file in that particular folder that lacks a cover art/thumbnail image. One can use a program such as MediaMonky or even MP3Tag to add or remove the cover art/thumbnail image on certain media files. One can also use those and other programs to add additional metadata tag information (like show title and description) that some DLNA clients can read and display on screen.

the zip folder lists download instructions in different languages. it doesn't have the option of setup.exe.
after I finished downloading, the zip folder appeared along with a white box. Whenever I click on the white box it reads as an extractor, which I go thru too, yet the software icon does not appear.
I purched Adobe Photoshop & In Design. My computer is a Dell with Windows8.

I just bought an ibook pro and want to download a browser like google chrome which I am familiar with. Safari just seems to be a lot of icons for shopping and I would like to disable it and put something more functional in its place. How do I ?

What you are experiencing is 100% related to Malware.

Lots of Icons appear on my T60 Desktop after Lenovo updates

I've been making updates for first time to my T60 laptop--some directly from Lenovo website and some by using ThinkVantage tool (which I also just updated!). And it seems that with each update, or some of them, the Desktop becomes cluttered with icons. They appear related to the updates.
And you can only imagine how many updates have been made if I haven't made any in years for the T60.
Is it okay and safe to delete the icons from desktop? I don't want to remove the actual updates from my system, though.
But these are really cluttering the desktop.

O monitor de lote não está trazendo as informações existentes para o período selecionado.
Os monitores NFe e Status do serviço estão funcionando OK.
Quando selecionamos um período em que NÃO HÁ lotes, é retornada a mensagem "Nenhum valor encontrado para seleção" e não é mostrado o GRID/Tabela (local onde as informações de lotes seriam mostradas).
Quando selecionamos um período em que HÁ lotes, não dá nenhuma mensagem de erro, e é mostrado o GRID/Tabela, mas sem informações.
A consulta do lote via monitor NFE funciona (quando selecionamos um intervalo de notas e clicamos sobre o lote).
Foi assinalado a role /XNFE/TAXNUMBER com ACTVT (03) e /XNFE/CNPJ (* e também foi tentado com os CNPJs). O usuário que está sendo utilizado possui SAP_ALL, além do /XNFE/TAXNUMBER.
Há mais algum profile/role que é necessário para acessar as informações via monitor de lote ? Alguém já passou por essa situação ?
Estamos com o support package NFE 9 instalado e estava apresentando o problema.

- ele faz o "SELECT * FROM /xnfe/batsta" (leu 11 lotes - do 63 ao 73 - todos com statcode 104)
- entra no LOOP * determine Batchstatus and Errorstatus* - LOOP AT lt_batch INTO ls_batch.
- é normal ele ler vários registros para um mesmo BATCHID em "SELECT * FROM /xnfe/bat_hist" ? Ele leu 55 registros com ocorrências repetidas para os lotes de 63 a 73.
- Classificou os 55 registros por "batchid ertime DESCENDING" e carregou o primeiro registro de cada lote dentro da tabela ET_AKT_BATSTATUS.
- Montou a tabela "et_batch_data" com as informações dos lotes, como por ex.: descrição dos códigos ("Resultado recebido" , "Lote processado" , icon "~Icon/GreenLed") para os lotes 63 ao 73.
Só que mostra o GRID/Tabela vazia no Browser.
Temos um PI (SID: PID) com GRC para DEV e QAS. Começamos a gerar informações no GRC (PID) a partir do QAS neste início de semana. Até então, somente tinhamos gerado informações a partir do DEV. Agora temos 2 sistemas (DV2 e QAS) gerando informações no PID.
Tem mais alguma função que poderia fazer alguma consistência nas informações da tabela "et_batch_data" antes de mostrá-la no browser ?

How can I put back the bar that held my go-to site icons?

I am referring to the bar that has the site address, and Google box. In the past, I placed a lot of icons on that bar, that I got from my bank, utility sites for bills, mail, facebook, etc. It was a great convenience. The bar had a plus sign, to add more icons. A window would appear, that allowed you to choose an icon and enter the site address. A lot of the sites had their own icons, that would automatically appear, in the window. Now, I tried to follow the directions to add icons to the bar, but it looks like there are very few available, and hardly any that I use. I'm hoping that there is a way that can be used to add back the bar's abilities to place very useful icons, that were so easy to use. I'm sure many people are upset also. It's a mystery how anyone could think that the new features would be better than the old, at least for this one bar's usefulness. Thanks, in advance, for your help.

How do I format "icons", etc. so that I can replace folder with picture????

Hi,
Wonder if someone can help me. I already know how to go through the process, once the "picture" or "icon" or "clip-art" or clipart or ??? is ready to click on. Then get info, copy/paste, etc.
My question is when I look for categories of icons, etc. (preferably free) I can't seem to get the icons or pictures in a format that I can just click and do that most of the time. Sometimes it works, like I looked for bathroom pictures, and it gave me a few pictures to download. I downloaded a picture of a bathtub to my desktop and it worked where the folder changed to a bathtub.
What am I doing wrong? I would preferably like a lot of icons or avatars or whatever they are called for the Mac to choose from depending on a category and be able to click it and do this depending on the category I want. Or just google what picture I want. Ideally, I'd like a whole archive of little icons that are ready to replace the folder and look for them by category. I'm willing to buy a CD with lots if icons if necessary because I must be doing something wrong.

Go for the icons in the Apple logo, they are just stored on the folders, so you can copy and paste them on to whatever you want.
You can also get CandyBar there which lets you store, browse and apply the icons in one operation.

i am a new user in oracle 10g form,,,here i am running a form & placing all the icons in a folder,after that i changed the iconic file path in the default.env file,the path is same where the icons are kept,,but still i am unable to see the icons at the run time,,,,,
do i need to modify some other file or the icons will be kept at some particaular place????

1 How to Display Iconic Images Using Forms 9.0.x/ 10.x?
When running an Oracle Forms 9i/10g application the icon files used must be in a web enabled
format such as JPG or GIF (GIF is the default format) (This is unlike older versions of forms running in client-server mode when the file format is .ico.)
Icon image files can either be retrieved by Forms as individual files on the filesystem or from a Java Archive (JAR file).
If an application uses lots of icon images it is recommended that they are stored in a JAR file to reduce the number of HTTP round trips.

The example below details steps to configure iconic images as individual gif or jpeg files.
It is a first approach recommended for initial testing and understanding.

File icons are white instead of their official artwork or preview

Hi, I've noticed since upgrading to Yosemite, a lot of icons for the apps i use everyday, Word, Exel, PDFs, Adobe premiere projects, are now showing just as generic white squares as oppose to their official icons artwork or preview. Any ideas how to rectify this? Funnily, making an alias to the file, the alias gets the artwork without a problem.

I had the ssme problem; just about all non-Apple icons either disappeared completely or went white. There's another thread on the forum where some people tried some fancy ways to get it work, but none of that worked. I did what you did - created new aliases for the links on the desktop, and reinstalled all third party software with missing icons. Cutting and pasting the icons back in place didn't work; they disappeared faster than I could paste them. Nothing else I tried has worked. This didn't happen to me running the Beta, it's a brand new bug.

Finder Icons

Guys...im a new mac user with a new macbook. Now that i have downloaded many apps for my finder, there are a lot of icons there. Personally, I prefer the icon style suppose to the others. Now most of you probably now that on your desktop you can "snap" your icons to the grid. I was wondering if you can do the same thing for the finder so the icons look in place suppose to trying to align them. Any help would be great

Yes you can snap your icons to the grid as follows :
1- open a finder window
2- on the top of the finder window you will see a little gear icon ( this gear icon is known as "action") click on the action gear icon
3- on the resulting drop down menu click on " show view options "
4- in the resulting view options box you will find the snap to grid option what you are looking for plus other view options that you might find usefull
5- Be sure to look at the top of the view option dialog box and you can choose "all windows" or "this window only" this option allows any view option you choose will be applied to the finder window your currently in or all finder windows on your mac account

No icon for security setup

I have a new Linksys wireless router that I successfully installed yesterday. It seems to work fine. But I cannot setup the security because there is no icon in my system tray in the lower right corner of my screen. There are lots of icons there but no Linksys icons. I reinstalled the router but still no icon. I have looked at the entire tray, not just the most used icons.
Any suggestions?

OK, well to start with, you must have the icon file in the correct format. You need to end up with an .icns file. One of the how-to articles should tell you how to do this - iConvert will also do it.
If it is in the correct format, when you click the icon file to highlight it, and click cmd-i, you will see the Get Info window - at the top left, you should see a mini version of the icon. If you do NOT see that icon correctly, the file is not the correct format. So this will not work for a jpg or png file, for example.
Once you have this window open, go to the thumbnail, click it to highlight it blue, and click cmd-C to copy.
Go to your Safari app from the Applications folder (not from the dock), again click cmd-i to open its Get Info window, and again click its icon to highlight it blue. Now click cmd-V to paste. You will be asked for your admin password to authenticate. The icon should now become the one you've pasted in.
You may need to log out and back in for the effect to show on the application file itself.
You might also want to look into Candybar if you plan on doing a lot of icon customization.

Copy-Pasting images to change icons of files/folders.

I have changed a few folders to images I have found online, rather than the default blue folder, however there is always a background (usually black). Is there some site that has lots of icons with no backgrounds (for example most applications have no background).
This is hard to describe and I hope that this is the right forum.

that's because your windows volume is formatted NTFS and is not writable from OS X without extra software. if you really want to you can make it writable from OS X by installing NTFS-3g or NTFS fro Mac by Paragon but I'm not sure it's worth the trouble just for this task.

Why is display of icons on the new tab no longer present

At the beginning of the week I was using FF 3.6.13 on Windows XP, on Wednesday it was upgraded to Windows 7 and still using FF 3.6.13. Before W7 when in FF if I clicked on the new tab the new page was displayed with lots of icons of the most recently accessed URLs. Now when I click on the new tab it just displays a blank page. Is the display of the icons still possible in the W7 variant and if so how do I configure it as I have been through all the history options and can't find anything that looks like it does this.

This issue can be caused by the Ask<i></i>.com toolbar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions)
