LOTS of issues with Fascinate...worst phone ever

I got this phone as the BOGO when my sister bought her Incredible 33 days ago, I previously had a Motorola Droid...big mistake on this "upgrade". I've had problems with it from day one. On day one I was unable to make or receive phone calls until after I restarted the phone several times. I should have taken the phone back and exchanged it the next day but I just didn't have time. The unresponsive screen issue making it impossible to make calls continued. The sound quality was terrible, sounded like a blown speaker. I rarely had good WiFi or cell signal in areas where my Droid got excellent signal (still does, my husband has my beloved Droid now). Unable to load web browser pages. To resolve the unresponsive screen or lack of signal I would have to restart the phone...when the phone restarted it started beeping. "Beep, beep, beep" *pause* "Beep, beep, beep"...on, and on for several minutes (literally, it would beep for 5+ minutes everytime it started up).
Finally, about 25 days after purchase I called *611 to talk to tech support about the issues I was having. I was told that none of these issues were coming up as things that others had complaints with, it sounds like I just got a faulty phone and I could either have them send a replacemnt out to me or I could exchange it at the store where I bought it. I went back to the store I originally bought the phone from and exchanged it. Six days into Fascinate #2 (31 days after the original purchase) I'm having some of the same issues. No signal, unable to load browser pages without restarting the phone and the "Beep, beep, beep" cycle upon restart. The beeping continues for 5+ minutes, the only resolution seems to be turning the volume off.
Has anyone else had any of these issues? If so, what can be done to fix any of these problems? Is there any change Verizon would let me trade this in for a completely different phone? (NOT another Fascinate!!)

If you are using a Task Manager Application, try removing that application, or changing its setting on the device. Review the applications that you are using and remove applications that may be conflicting with the phones operation. Power the device off then remove and replace the battery. Then dial *228 send and option 1 on the device.
Replacement devices are usually issued for manufactures defects and are usually the same model depending on the circumstances.

i too feel its the worst phone ever..i have used all the brands of phone...range starting from as FLY, sony, samsung, nokia and iphone....this is the only brand i had nt used...so i bought it with huge expectation...although withing 45 days of buying the phone...the phone conked...it was restarting itself and then permanently dead...wasnt going ahead of 23% of loading......so had to wait another 45 days to get replacement [so called new phone]and now again on 6th march,2015, i have given the phone to service center..service promises to call back on same day to inform, which they never do...next day when i called,came to know again hardware issue...and again will get phone replacement...now i dont wont Z10 at all....now phone is in warranty they will replace it but what about later...if i buy a new phone...i assume for atleast 2 years the phone shouldnt have problem...if i have ti visit service center ervery 45 days or 6 months after getting replacement phones then what is the point of buying new phone???worst part when i wnet first time, i was never informed by service center that we can get standby phone...45 days without office mails...this time they gave me BB curve, again first trackball wasnt working...and the again another phone was given in which i was told i cant download any apps...and worst again no mails...i though BB was known as business phone so that we can be connected 24X7 with mails....but with such kind of phones where we cant download anything cant use mail or hotspot how will we work????really disappointed with BB

Blackberry Pearl- Why it's the worst phone ever made

Here's why I think the Blackberry Pearl is the worst phone ever made.
1. I can't get photo's off of it. My G1 takes a few seconds. I've worked with this Pear for hours upon hours cannot get my photo's off of it. The Desktop manager really bites too no help there. I really dislike this phone. The software just as bad. I guess they were on the move when Desktop manager was getting written.
2. The phone on occasions would lock on letters instead of numbers. There wasn't an intuitive way to get it unlocked. I found it more intuitive to get a my return from the IRS than it was to get the phone back to dialing numbers.
I'm having my kids dress up as a Blackberry Pearl for Halloween. I'm going to make a Halloween Movie Freddy Kruger attacks people with Blackberry Pearl the topper scene features unsuspecting Pearl user getting tied up and has them attempt to copy their photos off to a PC and the video gets put on Youtube for Christmas.

I want to join the fun here and list all the different reasons why I'm very unsatisfied with this phone.
The actual phone part of this phone is pretty slow. It accepts a phone number almost 3 times slower than I can type it in. Even typing a name on their handy search bar takes forever to get a result. If I type to fast, it just ignores a couple of my numbers so I have to delete and retype, at the same super slow pace. I'm guessing that it searches all sorts of contact and history lists to give me cool suggestions, and that's what makes it so slow. Either way, it irritates me to no end that the basic reason I have this thing is slow as dirt.
All 3rd Party and Blackberry apps require the Blackberry data service. Even though there's WIFI on this phone, you simply can't connect to anything except the Browser (and even the Browser requires some setting changes to bypass the upsell screen). This phone CAN do 3rd party services and other applications without the Blackberry data service, but they just don't allow you to.
Sometimes my phone just turns off. I don't normally mind the 3 minute boot up process, but when I'm in the middle of something and my phone turns off for no reason, it just compounds my frustration.
The keyboard freezes up all the time. After a good 1-5 minute "please wait clock", I finally get a message saying there was an error and my input application had to be reset. Sometimes it doesn't quite reset all the way and I have to pull the battery and again wait for the long boot up process.
Its a little unreliable. Besides the phone turning off at random and the keyboard freezing, I still have problems other problems. My bluetooth turns off and sometimes doesn't come back. Once I had to get a new phone sent to me in order to correct that problem. Pressing buttons doesn't always get a response, especially the green "call" button. If the phone is bogged down, it just ignored commands, which is pretty frustrating especially if you press a button and accidently double enter a command that is both the "on" and "off" options. Also, sometimes the screen fades out (like its suppose to) but doesn't come back when you press keys. Or the external notifications just don't turn on. It somestimes just doesn't read my memory card. The zoom feature on my camera also got stuck.
Other small gripes involve having no caps lock, the SureType never learning from my typing ("Hey" always goes out as "Get"), its overall slowness, the looseness of the back casing, the low quality camera, and so much more.
I don't suggest this phone to anyone.

Since then I've resolved the WAP problem; but as the OP has stated, the problems I've had with mine have been far and away more than all the phones I've had in the past -combined!
It fails on calls (I'm paying of the call, but nothing can be heard)..Today my touchscreen decided to go AWOL. and locked up..so I took out the battery, same again..then the battery AND the SIM card. Same again..It wouldn't unlock, the only buttons that worked were the push button ones...Then it decided it would work a little, and auto scrolled (Yes really!) the side bar..The it defaulted to the help screen without being touched (Battery out again)...then it worked as it should..but now...if I try to press an icon, it moves up the screen as I press it, so I can't actually open (for example) messages or my address book. If I hold the menu icon down for three seconds, it will eventually open up, but the rest won't..but it might all change in an hour or two..So yes, i agree with the original message it is probably the worse phone Nokia has released.

It seems like there are a lot of issues with the 3GS on iOS 5.1, should I stay with 4.3.5? Part of what worries me is that my business is completely reliant on this phone and the billing and job tracking software I use, so if something were to happen I would be in trouble. Also, myself not being all that tech savy I am wondering if by hooking my iphone up to itunes once every couple of weeks, is it creating a backup file? If I had to replace my phone could I just plug the new one into itunes and have all of my apps and data transferred onto the new phone? I want to get proactive about this so at the very least I'm not tempting fate.

Looking around here, what you are going to see is problems. People don't come to forums like this to talk about how smoothly their phone is working.
Backing up every couple of weeks is OK, if you can afford to lose several weeks worth of data.
That's one of the huge advantages of iOS5. Wireless backups to iCloud. Plug your phone in to charge at night, and if you have WiFi, it will back up without the need for you to do anything. If it gets run over by a truck, you get a new one, restore from iCloud, and off you go.
if you don't update, you're going to start running into problems soon as new versions of many apps REQUIRE iOS 5.

I have lot of issues with the iPhone. First I cant forward the messages that people sent me, second you can't receive or send a picture mail directly from phone to phone, the sounds and the speaker is so low you can barely hear and has lot of static when you turn on the speaker phone, and you cannot connect to itunes store with the internet you have through AT & T it keeps asking you for Wi Fi and says cannot connect to itunes store, and you can't send address to other phones that really *****
I mean these features are so simple any cheap phone can do it why not iphone they say it is so advance over the other phones. apple should really work on this. i think that is the reason people still prefer black berries or other phones. iphone is cool as they say it is but it is not that impressive at all if you can do basic features like these!!!!

Yes you can. People can send an MMS to your e-mail address, instead of your phone number. You can e-mail a pic to their phone - they will receive as n MMS. Do a forum search as this has been explained thousands of times.

It is called the itunes wi-fi store for that very reason.

Perhaps you should spend more time researching before you spend the money.
If you are within the return window, take the iphone back to the store and get you money back - less restocking fee - consider it the cost of not researching.

L2 Roaming issue with Avaya wireless phone on WISM -V6.0.196.0

I am facing Layer2 roaming issue with Avaya Wirless phone 3620 which are configured WPA / Pre-shared key auth with a SSID1 and face a cut or delay in the voice.
But when i use Cisco Wireless phones and try to roam between one LWAP to other i dont face a cut or delay in the vocie which are
Configured with 802.1x +CCKM auth .
Then i configured new SSID 3 with 802.1x+CCKM settings for the new Avaya wireless module 3631 , but still face cut and delay while doing Layer 2 roaming.
While i was using these AP in WDS mode i never faced this Layer 2 roaming issue with Avaya wireless phones.
In current WISM all the LWAPs are supporting properly to the Cisco phone and Wirelss laptop clients.
I request you to please let me know how do i proceed further to solve the issue and please let me know if anybugs or incompatibilty for WISM with Avaya wireless phones.

I am having issues with the WiFi connection to my AT&T router and voice recognition.
It wont make post to Facebook half of the time. It is lacking the option to post videos to Facebook, only to mail, message, and You Tube. And finally the voice recognition messes up what it types in both Siri and messages.

Not having any of those.

Droid pro worst phone ever

no sim card when sim is in it .. and sometimes no sd card when card is in it .. freezes up when trying to open dialer... shuts its self off for no reason.. battery need charged all the time and there is no extended life battery for droid pro.. the setting , home back ,search- touch keys just above keyboard is just stupid when you use the top row of the keyboard your fingers hit the home or setting touch keys and you have to go back to the page / app / whatever ..
this droid pro puts new meaning to "airplane mode" --- i want to throw it across the room at least 4 times a day
this is the worst droid ever it should be recalled and replaced with DROIDx2

N73 worst phone ever!

I have had my N73 for nearly 2 years. When I got it initially it was exchanged due to the phone beeing faulty, or so we thought.
The exchanged unit just did exactly the same. It is terribly slow, when you unlock the phone some times it would take 20-30 sec to come to life. The camera would shut off by itself and is not in sinc with the flash at all. When browsing on the internet it would tell you to shut down other applications - out of memory, and this is when it is the only app running. Phone calls would be dropped at random. The phone shuts off by itself when ever it wants to. It would at random times tell you it is unsafe to remove the memory card. The joystick will not function anymore so now it is just a phone that can make and receive calls, nothing else.
This is by far the worst phone I have ever had, and it is not like it was one of the cheapest phones on the market, it was one of the most expensive. A total waste of money.
I will definately not waste my money on a Nokia again.

Wifi and Data running simultaneously. Data was being charged to my account even though I was on WIFI. No one can fix the issue. I have wasted 8 hours of my life and went and returned my phone and got a new one yet after the last update I now have WIFI and Data showing that they are running simultaneously. I have looked at numerous message boards and turned off Caller ID don't have Volte on my phone but do get an error with Visual Voice Mail. I don't want any of these services, you are not helping your customers Verizon or Samsung with forcing us to update. I tried not to update my NEW phone that I had to get from Costco because of this exact same stupid issue happen on my last one. But every time I said NO to update the next time I did anything on the phone the UPDATE would pop up again. I would say NO it would come back. I was doing a text and it came up and I hit update not wanting to and then my phone began updating on a low battery. I had to rush to put on charge and then my WIFI and Data came back on together with arrows on all going up and down. I HATE the lack of support I get from SAMSUNG and VERIZON... Verizon washes their hands and say these are not Updates even though these are the features we have on all our phones like Visual Voice Mail and Volte...

I did look at the Settings/Cellular to check the applications. This is one of the steps I did with the person from Verizon who was an "iPhone Specialist". And he didn't see anything unusual. And I can honestly tell you they have very minimal number of apps on their phones.
When I went to the Apple Store the first time with this problem, they had me update the phones iOS systems to see if this would correct the problem. They were each running older versions but different versions. One son had one update to do and the other had a couple of updates needed. So, the problem started before they were updated and they weren't even on the same update. And nothing changed after we did the updates.
I didn't reboot the router and modem, because I'm not having any other issues with my phone, my husband's phone, our iPad, xbox, PS3, or laptops. Would the wifi only affect their phones?

Is anyone having issues with Windows 8 phones not loading mobile versions of websites?

I was just wondering if anyone with a Windows phone is having problems loading the mobile site version of a Muse site when viewed on the phone? or if there is a known bug or incompatability?
